Chapter 226: Unifying the 30th Floor; Acquiring Floor Master Authority!

On the other side of the city...
Kaguya Shinomiya and Ai Hayasaka sat frozen inside their overturned car, paralyzed with fear. They looked toward the front—the driver was covered in blood, his body a gruesome mess of mangled flesh. It was a sight too horrific to endure.
Wiping blood from her own face, Kaguya felt cold sweat pouring down her forehead. Her leg was pinned under the dashboard, and she could feel warm blood steadily soaking through her stockings.
"Hayasaka... where is Seito?" Kaguya asked, her voice trembling and faint.
Beside her, Hayasaka tucked her phone away. "Great, Young Lady... he... he should be... coming... soon."
Hayasaka's complexion was deathly pale. Her situation was arguably worse than Kaguya's—a jagged piece of metal had impaled her thigh. Blood trickled down her porcelain skin, and tears pricked the corners of her eyes from the sheer agony. At the end of the day, she was still just a sixteen-year-old girl. This level of pain was almost impossible to bear.
The two girls gritted their teeth against the pain and looked out the window. Just moments ago, they had been heading home as usual when a monster suddenly manifested and swiped their car off the road.
The driver had lost consciousness instantly.
Now, the creature was slowly prowling toward the wreckage. It had the head of a wolf and a body of rippling, terrifying muscle. Foul-smelling saliva dripped from its fanged maw, making it look utterly revolting. It stared at the two girls inside the car like a predator eyeing a gourmet meal, closing the distance step by step.
The girls huddled together, shivering in terror.
BOOM!
Suddenly, Seito materialized in the air directly above the monster. He brought his foot down with crushing force, detonating the creature's head instantly! A headless corpse collapsed onto the pavement, and red-and-white brain matter splashed across the street.
Having dispatched the beast, Seito looked into the car at Kaguya and Hayasaka. When he saw the wound on Hayasaka's thigh, his brow furrowed. He moved forward, pulled her gently into his arms, and placed her on the ground outside.
Kneeling beside her, Seito activated his skill: [Life Heal].
Hummm—!
A soft white radiance condensed in his palms, flowing gently into Hayasaka's wound. Under the light, her flesh began to knit together at a visible speed—capillaries reconnected, muscle fibers wove back together, and finally, a scab formed and fell away, leaving behind smooth, unscarred skin.
After treating Hayasaka, Seito stood up and reached into the car. Seeing Kaguya's leg pinned, he used his strength to rip away the mangled metal encasing her.
"Sss—!!" Kaguya squeezed her eyes shut, fighting back tears of pain.
Seito scooped her up, crawled out of the wreckage, and set her down to begin her treatment. As he worked, a recovered Hayasaka limped over to his side, her face flushing slightly as she stood near him.
"Is the Great Young Lady alright?"
"She's fine," Seito said, withdrawing his hand and glancing at Kaguya's healed leg.
"It's already restored."
Seito then turned his attention to the driver. He dragged the half-dead man from the front seat and cast his healing magic. Within five minutes, the driver's wounds were gone, and he drifted into a peaceful, restorative sleep.
His task finished, Seito stood up and looked at Hayasaka, who was helping Kaguya to her feet.
"Th-thank you... Seito-kun..." Kaguya stammered, her face turning pink as she met his gaze.
"It was nothing," Seito waved it off. "Luckily I got here in time. If you're both okay, I'll be heading off."
Kaguya opened her mouth as if to say more—perhaps to invite him to dinner—but the words caught in her throat. Given the chaos of the accident, it wasn't the right time. "I... I understand."
Seito nodded and vanished via Spatial Shift. Kaguya watched the empty space where he had been and let out a soft sigh of regret.
Seito's Home.
Back in his bedroom, Seito wasted no time. He lay on his bed, donned his gaming helmet, and initiated the link! He materialized at his last logout point and immediately teleported to the Forest Cabin on the 42nd Floor.
Outside the cabin, Maple and Sally were relaxing in rocking chairs, enjoying a rare moment of peace in the sun.
Whoosh—!
Seito appeared inside the cabin. Hearing the noise, the two girls got up and walked in.
"Seito-kun, you're finally online!" Sally said, skipping over to him.
"Perfect timing," Maple added. "You need to head to the Snezhnaya Empire immediately."
"The Snezhnaya Empire? Why?" Seito asked, confused.
"General White Wind has finished conquering the entirety of the 30th Floor,"
Maple explained. "If you teleport there now, you should be able to claim the Floor Master authority."
Seito blinked in shock. The 30th Floor was unified? That was incredibly fast! Without hesitation, he initiated the teleport.
God Domain: 30th Floor — The Endless Continent.
Extreme North — The Snezhnaya Empire.
The moment he appeared in the Imperial Palace, a series of system notifications flooded his vision:

Across every floor, players stopped in their tracks, jaws dropping as the announcement echoed in their ears.
The 30th Floor was unified?!
"Holy crap!"
In an instant, the entire player base erupted into a frenzy of excitement and disbelief.
