Chapter 395: Leaving Honjou Kaede's House, Heading to Shiramine Risa's House?

As she spoke, Kaede's mother stood up and left for the kitchen. After meeting Seito in person, the couple had a much better impression of him. The reason was simple: from the moment he walked in, he acted completely natural, open, and humble.
"Alright." Seito smiled back and glanced at Kaede.
Kaede's eyes were currently shining with excitement. Hearing her mother use that warm title made her feel that her relationship with Seito was officially secure.
Once Seito and Kaede sat down, Kaede's father looked over at him. "Seito, your status is something both Kaede's mother and I already understand well, so there is no need for a long introduction."
Hearing this, Seito smiled and said, "Sir, the two of you can just view me as a junior."
His identity was famous across the entire Earth. The parents of the students at Sobu High were all well aware of it. Even so, Seito did not put on any arrogant airs. Lowering his posture and telling them to treat a supreme God-King like a regular family junior made his respectful attitude crystal clear.
"Good, very good." Kaede's father let out a highly satisfied laugh. Seito's words were incredibly smooth, as if his tongue were coated in honey, which made the older man very happy. Seeing this side of him, his impression of Seito grew even better.
Kaede was also filled with joy. Seito's words had easily made her protective father happy, which made her incredibly excited. After all, the biggest challenge in her household was winning over her father. Since her father was happy now, everything else was officially secure.
"By the way, do you plan to appoint a Divine Queen within your Faction?" her father suddenly asked, as a thought crossed his mind.
Appointing a Divine Queen was a concept often seen in Western mythology. Eastern Countryhad similar legends as well, usually referring to the Heavenly Emperor and the Queen Mother.
Seito and Kaede traded a quick look. Her father bringing this up meant he was well aware that Seito had many women under his banner, and by the looks of it, he didn't fundamentally oppose it.
However... a Divine Queen? Seito thought it over before replying, "Sir, I currently have no plans to appoint a Divine Queen. As you know, our top priority right now is to fully prepare for the conflicts in the God-King Star Sector."
The situation in the God-King Star Sector was something every citizen on Earth was familiar with, and Kaede's father was no exception. He knew very well that these divine battles were bound to be extremely dangerous. He had previously asked Kaede about the combat parameters of deities. A regular god could shatter a planet, while a God-King could destroy an entire galaxy! Just thinking about it gave him a suffocating feeling of helplessness. Knowing that his daughter and Seito had both traveled to the God-King Star Sector filled his heart with deep worry, yet he lacked the power to offer any meaningful aid. After all, his own level hadn't even breached Level 60 yet.
"How are your plans progressing over in the God-King Star Sector?" her father asked once more.
Yesterday, after Maple returned, she had given the couple a breakdown of the basic conditions in that region, but he still knew nothing about Seito and Kaede's core plans. Realizing his question might be diving too deep into sensitive matters, her father quickly corrected himself, "If it's inconvenient to say, you don't have to answer."
"No, it's fine to talk about it," Seito shook his head. "My combat power is currently at the late stage of the God-King Realm, and I am only thirty million points short of breaching the ceiling into the peak stage. However, the resident God-Kings in the Central Region have become incredibly cunning and are refusing to let any of their subordinate gods step outside, while I cannot openly move against the other four quadrants just yet."
Hearing Seito's words, Kaede's father fell into a quiet silence. He could easily imagine how stuck Seito and Kaede currently were, as the situation had completely hit a bottleneck.
"Come, have some tea." Right then, Kaede's mother returned from the kitchen, handing a freshly brewed cup to Seito.
"Thank you, ma'am," Seito stood up politely to accept the cup.
Following that, the group sat together and shared a very casual, warm conversation, simply chatting about daily family matters. Seito handled the conversation beautifully, keeping the Honjou couple laughing and thoroughly entertained. They continued chatting for nearly two hours. By the end of their talk, the couple had completely approved of the relationship between Seito and Kaede. However, due to their current age parameters, they could only agree to an official betrothal for now. A formal marriage didn't need to strictly follow traditional mortal rules since both Seito and Kaede were genuine deities; they could choose to hold it whenever they wished, so long as they organized a grand wedding before they turned twenty-five.
Right now, outside the front door of the Honjou residence.
Looking at Seito and Kaede standing together outside, the husband and wife shared a warm smile.
"Are the two of you really not staying behind to share a meal with us?" Kaede's mother asked, looking at them with a soft, gentle gaze.
"No need, ma'am. We'll just grab a quick bite to eat out on the streets later on," Seito replied with a respectful smile.
"Alright then. For this upcoming Spring Festival, let Kaede spend the holidays over at your place. Just make sure to take extra good care of her during the New Year," her father stated once more.
"Rest assured, I will!" Seito promised smoothly.
With that, the four of them waved goodbye, and Seito and Kaede turned to walk down the street.
Ten minutes later.
Walking along the main road, watching the heavy traffic and the bustling crowds of pedestrians passing by, a bright smile broke across Kaede's face. "Seito-kun, does this mean the two of us are officially considered husband and wife now?"
Since even her parents had explicitly stated that they didn't need to be strictly bound by the traditional rules of Earth, Kaede felt incredibly happy.
"Of course it counts," Seito said, reaching down to firmly grasp her small hand. Her hand felt exceptionally soft, smooth, and tender, offering a fantastic grip.
"Hehe~" Kaede let out a silly, adorable giggle. A few moments later, as a thought crossed her mind, she turned to ask, "Seito-kun, should the two of us pay a visit to Risa's house right now? It looks like she has been staying home all day during this block of time."
"No problem," Seito agreed smoothly.
To be perfectly honest, he had never actually stepped inside Shiramine Risa's house before. He wondered exactly what kind of thoughts would run through that little beauty's head when she saw him showing up at her doorstep. Risa possessed an incredibly lively, energetic personality and a fantastic character; Seito naturally harbored intentions toward her. However, unlike Kaede and Kaguya, this girl never clearly wore her feelings on her sleeve or showed her inner thoughts through her actions. Whenever he tried to drop a playful joke or flirt with her in the past, she would always deliberately avoid the topic and refuse to take the bait, which left Seito feeling quite helpless.
"Then let's move out right now~!" Kaede cheered, taking the lead as she sprinted ahead of Seito, tightly pulling his hand along as they set off toward Shiramine Risa's house.
