The next day…
The campus felt more familiar now.
Students walked with confidence, laughter was louder, and friendships had already started growing.
Swati, Aditi, Priyanka, and Poonam walked together toward their class.
"Today feels better," Poonam said softly.
"Because we're together," Priyanka replied.
Aditi smiled,
"And because college life is finally starting properly!"
As they reached the corridor—
Aditi suddenly stopped.
"Wait…"
"Why did it suddenly become quiet?" Swati asked.
A group of students stood respectfully as someone walked past.
A tall, calm, and confident boy.
Serious face. Sharp eyes.
Aditya.
Aditi's eyes widened.
"Bhai…?"
Aditya stopped.
Slowly turned.
"Aditi."
The three girls looked confused.
"Bhai???" Poonam whispered.
"Yes, my brother," Aditi said casually.
"YOU NEVER TOLD US!" Swati said.
"Surprise," Aditi smirked.
Aditya walked closer.
His presence made everything feel… different.
"First day and already chaos?" he said calmly.
Aditi crossed her arms,
"Excuse me? I'm very peaceful."
Priyanka tried not to laugh.
Aditya's eyes shifted.
And stopped.
On Priyanka.
For a second—
Everything slowed.
No noise.
No movement.
Priyanka looked at him.
Calm. Respectful.
But something in her eyes changed.
"Your friends?" Aditya asked.
"Yeah," Aditi said.
"Swati, Priyanka, Poonam."
"Hello," Priyanka said softly.
"Hi," Aditya replied.
Short conversation.
But heavy silence.
Meanwhile—
From the other side—
Abhi and Ayush were walking toward the same corridor.
Ayush noticed first.
"New guy?" he said.
Abhi looked.
And his eyes shifted toward Swati.
Standing beside Aditya.
Talking.
Something inside him felt… uncomfortable.
His inner voice:
"Why does it matter…?"
He looked away.
But his expression changed slightly.
Poonam quietly looked at Ayush.
He didn't notice.
Aditi clapped her hands.
"Okay okay, enough serious vibes! Let's go to class!"
Everyone started moving.
But as they walked—
Aditya and Priyanka both turned slightly.
And looked back.
At each other.
A new story had just entered.
