Tsunade focused intently on studying the intricate training methods of the Navy Six Styles, a flicker of delight flashing in her eyes. So it was all true—the Hokage Chat Group really existed in this world. In her mind, there was now a Cross-Domain Assistance Request button. With just a light press, Hokage from other worlds would come to her aid.
"This is amazing!" Tsunade couldn't help but exclaim softly, unable to contain her excitement.
"What's so amazing about it!" Shizune's dissatisfied voice rang out. "Don't even think about slacking off again!"
Shizune's gaze was full of admonishment, cutting short Tsunade's brief moment of joy. Tsunade quickly lowered her head and returned to handling the documents in front of her. Yet deep down, she was already planning ways to strengthen Konoha while remaining vigilant against the impending crisis.
Everything in this world was inverted. The domineering Tsunade had become gentle, and Ino was the same. Meanwhile, Hyuga Hinata had become terrifyingly fierce. She had even activated her Byakugan right in front of Haruno Sakura to issue a warning: if Sakura dared to show affection toward Naruto, she would kill her. The pressure emanating from those eyes was even more intimidating than Kaguya's Byakugan.
At the same time, in the main world, the group owner Aoki slowly opened his eyes.
"The Hokage Gathering has concluded. Items obtained: Tenseigan, Glint-Glint Fruit, Navy Six Styles." Aoki silently recited the new prompt in his mind, his gaze sweeping over it. "The next Hokage Gathering will open in six months. The group owner may randomly invite two Konoha Hokage to join the chat group before the gathering."
His attention was particularly drawn to the gathering interval. Seeing that it remained six months, he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. With the number of people in the group increasing, he had worried that the interval between gatherings might lengthen. Now, it seemed it would likely remain at six-month intervals. Given this, accelerating Konoha's development had become an urgent matter.
"Claim rewards," Aoki commanded inwardly.
As soon as he spoke, the chat group's exclusive colored Light Screen reappeared. A golden, gleaming fruit quickly materialized before his eyes—the Glint-Glint Fruit. Simultaneously, his right eye underwent a sudden transformation, slowly shifting from the Rinnegan to the Tenseigan, emitting a faint, dark glow.
"The power of destruction and creation," Aoki murmured softly, feeling the surging power of the Tenseigan within him. Unable to resist, he slowly raised his hand. Several Truth-Seeking Balls materialized out of thin air, circling his wrist like prayer beads.
After briefly experiencing the Tenseigan's abilities, Aoki dispersed the Truth-Seeking Balls. The limited space of his office prevented him from fully exploring other techniques, so he reluctantly set it aside, planning to find an opportunity to experiment later. His gaze then fell upon the Glint-Glint Fruit before him.
He never expected to obtain a Logia Devil Fruit without side effects. Eagerly, Aoki picked up the Glint-Glint Fruit and took a bite. Surprisingly, it tasted quite good, carrying the fresh sweetness of pineapple.
So, the reason Devil Fruits tasted awful was because they were cursed. Who created the Devil Fruits, and why were they afraid of seawater? Once the Multiverse Traversal function opened, exploring those worlds would undoubtedly be endlessly fascinating.
After consuming the Glint-Glint Fruit, Aoki turned his attention to the Navy Six Styles. Among the three rewards, this seemed to have the least impact but was actually the most crucial—this cultivation method could significantly enhance Konoha's overall combat strength.
"I should visit the Ninja Academy," Aoki thought to himself.
With this in mind, he made his way to the Konoha Ninja Academy. As soon as he arrived at the entrance, he heard a teacher inside asking the students, "Do you know who the strongest Hokage in the history of the Leaf Village is?"
"I know! I know! It's the Fourth Hokage!" a student eagerly shouted.
"Correct," the teacher nodded with a smile. "Among all the Hokage, the Fourth Hokage possesses the greatest strength and has made the most outstanding contributions to the development of the Leaf Village."
Before Aoki even entered, he saw the teacher using the Hokage Rock as a teaching aid, vividly recounting his achievements. He couldn't help but blush slightly, never expecting that Sarutobi Hiruzen's flamboyant promotional methods would be applied to him in full force. The teacher continued his explanation, and the students gazed at Aoki's statue on the Hokage Rock with admiration, vowing one after another to become Hokage someday.
Feeling somewhat uncomfortable with such adoration, Aoki decided not to linger and turned back to the Hokage's Office. There, he immediately picked up a pen and wrote down the complete cultivation method for the Navy Six Styles.
"Minato!" Aoki called out. "Notify Might Duy to come to my office."
"As you command," Minato replied, using the Flying Thunder God Technique to vanish from the office in an instant.
Minato vaguely remembered Might Duy, having met him once before. Might Guy was the rival of Minato's student Kakashi, and Might Duy was Guy's father. Soon, Minato found the father and son duo training on the street.
"Guy! Let's end today's training here. How do you feel?" Might Duy asked.
Guy grinned broadly, flexing his arms vigorously, his muscles bulging. "No problem! I can still run ten laps around Konoha!"
Seeing his son's boundless enthusiasm, Might Duy patted his head with satisfaction, his face filled with pride.
To outsiders, this father and son pair, clad in tight training suits, might seem out of place, but the determination in their eyes never wavered.
"Alright! Then let's run ten more laps around Konoha!" Might Duy declared loudly.
"This is youth!" the two shouted in unison.
Just as they were about to start running, Minato appeared before them using the Flying Thunder God Technique.
"Mr. Might Duy, the Hokage summons you," Minato said politely.
"What? Lord Minato! What does the Hokage need?" Might Duy exclaimed, both surprised and delighted. Minato was the Hokage's right-hand man, and he had personally come to find him.
Being summoned by the Hokage himself, Might Duy felt immensely honored and excitedly hugged Guy.
"Guy! Did you hear that? The Hokage has assigned me a mission!"
"This is youth!" the father and son laughed together, their faces beaming with joy.
Seeing Minato's slightly exasperated expression, the two finally composed themselves. Might Duy wiped the tears of excitement from the corners of his eyes and looked solemnly at Minato. "Please inform the Hokage that if there is a mission, I will carry it out without fail—even if it costs me my life!"
In the office, Aoki looked at Might Duy as he entered and waved his hand with a smile to ease his nervousness. "Might Duy, there's no need to be so formal. I do have something for you today, but it doesn't require you to risk your life, so rest assured. Let Guy go home and wait for now."
Hearing this, Might Duy breathed a sigh of relief and quickly thanked Aoki. He was filled with curiosity—Konoha had many powerful ninjas, yet he was just a perpetual genin. How could he have earned the Hokage's trust?
As Might Duy was pondering this, Aoki handed him a scroll containing the training methods for the Navy Six Styles.
"Take a look at this first."
