Sairis's POV
Sairis kept his eyes on Loreen and waited.
Loreen shrugged slightly. "My father worked it out first," he said. "He told me about it. He said he could feel it, something about Sairis that reminded him of the Locke family, of your father specifically."
He rubbed the back of his neck. "And knowing that the body in that grave was not the young Sairis Locke, it made the possibility very easy to believe." Loreen added.
Sairis nodded slowly. It made sense now. The king had already had his suspicions when he told Sairis about the missing young Lord."That is why he told me about what happened," he muttered. "After your mother died. He wanted me to know."
Loreen gave him a sad smile. "I think so," he replied. "He was giving you an opening without forcing your hand."
Sairis sighed. "I should have said something then," he muttered. "When he told me. I should have just said it."
