Several minutes later, the ants began their retreat, and eventually, peace returned to the frontline.
Once Aubrey confirmed that the ants had indeed retreated, several teams of soldiers and fire mages came forward, and began piling up the pieces of ants that weren't completely destroyed so that they could be burned.
