Hi, I'm Eden Hope, a typical 15-year-old white girl That Had Friends, family and was somewhat popular but to be Honest I hated it, I mean, I didn't hate it But... I don't know, I Didn't enjoy it, I know it sounds Selfish but I just Wanted something a little more Exciting But now that those wishes have came true I wish I never wished for them...
It was 2030, and no, we didn't have flying cars. The world was quite ordinary and dull to be honest but it wouldn't be that way For long.
It was on my 14th birthday and because of some family tradition stuff I was forced to inherit a weird necklace.
basically in my family ever since my great-great-grandma, so like 200 years ago, i don't Really know, my family has always passed down a necklace and not just any necklace, instead of a nice soft fabric, it has a heavy metal chain and hanging off that chain is a weirdly oversized diamond ring and when I mean oversized, i mean oversized, it could fit on nobody's finger, not even mine, it looks like a giant's ring but not that giant but whatever, anyways, in my family's tradition the owner of the necklace, which is going to be me, always and I mean always!!! Has to where the necklace, of course now I understand why but before I knew what I know now I was very confused and asking so many questions, my family probably hated me. hhmmmm family... Eden drops her pen and starts crying, she lays on the floor rolling up into a ball, when all of a sudden the door opens. Eden's roommate jackson that has just came home from a scaveng, yells out loud that he was able to find tampons for eden but jackson doesn't get a response, this is weird to Jackson because eden was whining about needing more tampons...
"Eden are you home?" Jackson yells... No response, jackson starts going through the house when he starts to hear crying coming from eden's room.
"Eden are you in there? Eden, hello?" Jackson says with a calm/scared voice. he opens the door to find eden laying on the ground sobbing.
"Oh my God Eden are you okay?" Jackson says while running up to Eden and hugging her. Jackson says in a worried tone "oh my God, Eden, are you okay, what happened?" jackson thinks and lets go of Eden and says, "Wait, is this a period thing?" "no it's not" eden says while wiping the tears off her face, eden picks up her pen and says "i was trying to write again." Jackson gets up and says, "That's great! How much did you write?" while helping Eden off the floor. Eden picks up her book and sits on her bed with Jackson, sitting down with her.
"I was only able to write a little bit, but I got more than before," Eden says while giggling but in a sad way.
Jackson grabs Eden's book and starts reading it, "Hey, this isn't bad, you were able to get a lot more of the story into it," Jackson says in a happy and extremely excited tone.
