Clearly, Peter didn't need to consume any physical energy to use the horse talisman.
Clearly, he could have restored all of Brooklyn in just a few minutes.
But to better win people over and help his father-in-law accumulate more political resources, Peter intentionally slowed down the speed several times over.
During the process, he even acted out gasping for breath and gritting his teeth in front of the live camera several times.
Once the last ruin was restored and all of Brooklyn looked brand new, Peter's body swayed twice, and he fell straight backward.
Before anyone else could react, Tony in his armor had already flown behind Peter and caught him steadily.
Then, carrying him, he flew in front of the camera and said to JJJ:
"The Punisher has overexerted himself and needs rest. I'm taking him to my private sanitarium to recover."
"Additionally, to thank The Punisher for everything he's done for Brooklyn..."
"...I announce that Stark Industries will fund the construction of Punisher Square, with a giant statue in the center to commemorate everything The Punisher did today."
After sneaking in an advertisement for Stark Industries, Tony looked back at George and the others and said:
"Sergeant George, I'll leave this place to you."
George wasn't stupid. He first tipped his hat to Tony and Peter, then solemnly declared to the camera that he and the entire NYPD would be responsible for maintaining order after the disaster tonight.
Striving to prevent a single violent crime from occurring in Brooklyn.
After helping George get some final screen time, Tony signaled JJJ to focus the camera on George, then turned to Captain America, whose brain was still a bit short-circuited, and said:
"It's time for us to leave, Captain. Remember to bring that corpse over there."
Once the Captain blankly hoisted Abomination's remains onto the helicopter, Tony turned to Betty and said:
"Miss, would you and your friend like to come along?"
Although Betty was a devoted daughter, she was still very smart.
She knew her father wouldn't accept Banner even if he lost his power, and she was even more aware that someone might take their anger out on Banner next, so she nodded without a second thought:
"I'll go with you."
Seeing Betty and Banner board the helicopter, Nick Fury tried to sneak on as well.
But Tony, who had just set Peter down, blocked the helicopter door:
"A-Agent Nick, Director Peter just instructed me to give you a glorious and arduous task."
"What?" Nick Fury looked bewildered.
"Keep an eye on that old geezer over there." Tony jerked his chin toward General Ross. "Follow him closely until he completely loses the ability to harm the Director or his family."
"The Director said that if this guy manages to stir up any more trouble, your end will be the same as his."
Nick Fury was so angry he could hardly breathe, nearly choking himself to death.
Motherf*cker!
I, the former Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., am being sent on a low-level surveillance mission?
You want us to keep fighting like dogs, don't you?
Destroying the spirit, destroying the spirit!
Yet, under Tony's gaze, he couldn't say a single "no," and it was even more impossible for him to choose to collude with the now-powerless General Ross.
So, after much internal struggle, Nick Fury could only force a smile and say:
"Mission guaranteed to be completed..." After closing the helicopter door, Tony suddenly realized an embarrassing problem.
Perhaps because the helicopter pilot had been too close to Peter earlier, he was affected by the Conqueror's Haki and still hadn't woken up.
As for himself, he had only flown private jets and never an attack helicopter... Just as Tony was struggling with how to fly the helicopter, Peter, who had been silently faking unconsciousness, sat up:
"Aha~ I didn't expect there to be something the genius Tony can't handle."
"Who says I can't handle it!"
When it came to the issue of "a man cannot say he can't," Tony's face instantly flushed. He didn't even care about checking on Peter, only stubbornly insisting:
"To me, it's just a matter of glancing at the flight manual~"
Saying this, he threw the pilot onto the floor, ready to prove his genius mind.
"Give it a rest. I trust this more than your piloting skills."
Peter said as he suddenly snapped his fingers.
In the next second, the wheel of destiny, which had been possessing the flying skateboard, attached itself to the attack helicopter. (It had been teleported over along with Stand United.)
The moment the wheel of destiny possessed the helicopter, the entire aircraft suddenly emitted a series of "clack-clack-clack" metal-deforming sounds!
The originally unremarkable fuselage began to elongate, the top and rear rotors quickly retracted, and sci-fi-looking vector nozzles appeared on both sides of the fuselage.
In the blink of an eye, the unremarkable attack helicopter was forcibly transformed into a small transport plane resembling a quinjet!
"Holy sh*t!"
Tony's eyes nearly popped out. He lunged to the porthole, watching the fighter jet start to ascend on its own despite no one operating it. He was completely stunned.
"This... this is unscientific! F*ck, I mean, even if it's magic, it shouldn't have developed to this extent. This is f*cking ridiculous!"
"Relax~" Peter stretched lazily and leaned comfortably into the luxurious seat. "magic has to keep up with the times, too."
As the two were discussing "Magical Aerodynamics," a hesitant voice suddenly came from the side:
"Peter..."
"What's wrong, Captain? Motion sickness?" Peter turned his head and asked Captain America with a smile.
"No, it's not that..." The Captain's expression was complicated. "I just feel... what you did today... was it a bit too much?"
His voice trembled slightly; he wasn't accusing Peter, but rather seeking an answer.
An answer that could allow him to convince his own heart.
"Too much?"
Peter's smile became a bit mocking:
"General Ross setting me up once wasn't enough; he also hid information from me to capture the Hulk, leading to the disaster in Brooklyn. Wasn't that too much?"
"That Nick Fury ignored the lives of Brooklyn's people, only wanting to show up at the critical moment to reap the benefits. Wasn't that too much?"
"I saved all of Brooklyn, yet the President didn't offer a single word of praise, only thinking about getting rid of me as soon as possible. Is it too much for me to want to stay in America?"
"Compared to them, is my act of threatening the President for self-preservation really that much?"
Hearing Peter's series of rhetorical questions, the Captain's face instantly flushed, and he waved his hands repeatedly, saying:
"Peter, I'm not saying your act of saving Brooklyn was wrong. I just feel that Ni... Nick Fury Direc..."
Before he could finish, Peter interrupted him rudely:
"Captain, you've been observing Nick Fury for a while now. I'll only ask you one thing."
"Do you really think that Nick Fury is a selfless, upright, and honorable leader?"
That one sentence instantly silenced Captain America.
"See~" Peter clapped his hands.
"Silent again when faced with a difficult question."
