Synopsis
Naruto is a quiet and mysterious boy; many would say he has no feelings, sometimes even comparing him to a villain. However, they're wrong because he does show his emotions, but only to one person in particular: Izuku Midoriya, a shy and heroic girl. They share a beautiful friendship because they have so much in common, the main reason being that they don't have a Quirk like other children. Could this friendship become something more in the near future? Will Izuku be able to break through Naruto's shell and help him become less hostile towards others? (Warnings: Female Izuku! Naruto OP.) Pairing or Harem? I don't know yet xd.

"I was only four years old when I learned something very impressive that would help me defend myself, and at the same time I met my best friend for life."

Narrated a currently unknown female voice.

Flashback

Somewhere in the Shizuoka Prefecture, a little green-haired girl with freckles on her cheeks was on the verge of tears because three boys were about to hurt her for her unexpected heroic action.

"You're being cruel, Kacchan. Can't you see he's crying? If you keep doing this, I-I-I... I'll never forgive you!"

The freckled girl warned aloud with a slight stutter in her voice.

The boy who went by the nickname 'Kacchan' looked for a moment, somewhat surprised, at the girl who dared to challenge him in a fight he would obviously win thanks to his explosive Quirk. Meanwhile, the green-haired girl herself got into a very simple defensive stance, trying to defend a boy behind her who was crying from the 'beating' given to him by the boy nicknamed 'Kacchan' and his two friends.

"Pff! Even though you don't have a Quirk."

He emphasized that last word mockingly. "Do you still pretend to be a hero, Deku?"

Kacchan asked with a fake smile on his lips.

The boy nicknamed 'Kacchan', who happened to be the leader of the small group, slowly approached the freckled girl, creating explosions in his hands menacingly. Meanwhile, his friends also decided to show off their own Quirks in the same threatening manner as their leader.

The girl nicknamed 'Deku' backed away, terrified, when she saw Kacchan running toward her with his fist extended, explosions emanating from it, along with his sidekicks right behind him... though none of them expected someone to appear practically out of nowhere between the green-haired girl and the ash-blonde boy.

"The Milkman is here!"

An unknown boy said aloud with a mocking smile on his lips, while in the blink of an eye, a fire hose connected to his green camping backpack appeared in his hands.

Seeing this, Kacchan and his two friends began to slowly back away with terrified expressions, but the unknown boy didn't give them time to escape.

"See ya, little terrorist."

He greeted with the same smile before immediately unleashing a massive stream of water at the three Quirk-holding boys, sending them flying through the air in a comical fashion without giving them a chance to defend themselves.

The ash-blonde boy and his two friends had no time to react to the other boy's unexpected attack, and they ended up with their eyes rolled back (unconscious) on the other side of the woods.

The green-haired girl who had watched all of this was completely stunned by the unexpected event. Meanwhile, behind her, the boy she tried to defend saw an opportunity and took advantage of the moment to run away toward his house, without even thanking the girl who had defended him.

"What a disappointment, I thought they'd be a challenge..."

The unknown boy muttered quietly with a bored and somewhat annoyed expression, paying no attention to the girl behind him, who had gotten up from the ground to speak to the mysterious boy who had defended her from Kacchan and his two friends.

"Wow! That was amazing!"

Deku shouted enthusiastically, though this caused the poor boy's soul to nearly leave his body. He managed to hide it in time, taking a deep breath before turning around with a small smile... though he was completely taken aback when he saw the bright smile of the freckled girl, which left him a bit lovestruck for a second.

"Ah... hehe, thanks."

The boy said with some embarrassment, scratching the back of his neck with his left hand... as he wasn't used to so much attention and praise. However, he was suddenly pulled from his small trance by the green-haired girl.

"How did you do that!? Is it an amazing Quirk!? Would you like to be a hero in the future!?"

Deku asked over and over again, shaking the boy and demanding answers from him.

All of this left the unknown boy very dizzy and confused, but he managed to stop her in time by placing his hands on the freckled girl's shoulders.

"Wait, wait... What?"

The boy answered, very confused, since those were a lot of questions in less than a second.

Realizing she hadn't even told him her name, she paled a little at her lack of manners, simultaneously letting go of her death grip on him.

"Oh, sorry, I almost forgot. My name is Izuki, Izuki Midoriya."

The freckled girl introduced herself with a friendly smile, offering her right hand to the boy as a greeting.

The unknown boy looked at the green-haired girl's hand for a second before returning the handshake and the introduction.

"Naruto... just, Naruto."

The boy replied with a small smile, returning the handshake... doing his best to control his strength because he didn't want to crush Izuki's hand.

"Hmmm... that's not a common name at all, but I like it, just like your whisker marks are very cute."

Izuki commented with a sweet smile, stepping a little closer to the boy to then touch his cheeks with immense curiosity in her greenish eyes.

"T-Thanks..."

Naruto said quietly, a faint blush on his cheeks that he hid by looking away, causing her to pull her hand back with a thoughtful expression, as she was about to ask him something of utmost importance.

"I was wondering if..."

Izuki paused briefly, playing with her fingers at the same time, which made her look even more kawaii than before.

"Would you like to be my friend?"

The freckled girl asked shyly. To be honest, she didn't have much hope that he would say yes, because after all, she was a loser without a Quirk... but, she didn't expect the opposite answer either.

"Sure, there's nothing wrong with that."

Naruto accepted with a shrug, since he didn't care whether he had friends or not.

Hearing the black-haired boy's positive answer, her eyes lit up with excitement, and a smile of complete happiness formed on her lips.

"Great! Let's go to my house! I want to show you my All Might action figures!"

Izuki exclaimed aloud, surprisingly grabbing the black-haired boy's hand and dragging him forcefully across the ground toward her house.

Unfortunately for Naruto, he didn't have time to react when he was dragged across the ground by the girl, though he didn't refuse to go with her either... maybe from now on, everything would be more interesting and fun.

End of Flashback

"People are not born equal. I realized that when I was 4 years old, but thank Kami-sama for sending me Naruto, who saved me from Kacchan and his sidekicks... though on the other hand, I thank Kami-sama because otherwise I would never have met Naruto, with whom I would form a great friendship... Oh, I almost forgot! Just so you know, this whole Quirk thing started in China, in Qingqing City. A luminescent baby was reported born. Since then, more cases of superpowers emerged, and time passed without the cause of the phenomenon being known. The supernatural became normal. And dreams became reality. Today, about 80% of the world's population has some sort of unusual ability. As a result, as many superheroes have emerged as supervillains. The other 20% of the population has no kind of superpower, so to speak, they are ordinary people... and unfortunately, Naruto and I are in that 20%, but that doesn't matter to us at all. My name is Izuki Midoriya, and even without any kind of power, I will become a great hero through the 'magic' I learned from Naruto!"

The freckled girl finished narrating.

Present

"Come on, Naruto! We're going to miss the fight!"

Izuki said aloud.

The green-haired girl threw a quick glance at her great friend who was running behind her. All this commotion was because she wanted to see a fight between heroes and a villain—who, in terms of bad guys, was an amateur compared to the most dangerous and strongest supervillains in the world. Highly excited, she dodged and squeezed past people to get a view of the fight that was about to begin right in front of them. Meanwhile, Naruto had no choice but to stay close behind Izuki.

The teenager (14) known as Naruto has a semi-tanned complexion. He has spiky, very rebellious or wild black hair with a strange gray sheen to it, and two strands framing his forehead. His black eyes are quite striking, but there was something that made him truly unique, and that was his three whisker marks on both cheeks, giving him a wild look. His height is 1.75m and his weight is 62kg. His outfit consists of the Orudera Junior High boys' uniform, which made him look slimmer, along with black sneakers with gray laces... plus, he obviously carries his lucky dark-green camping backpack where he keeps his personal belongings and two sheets of paper with a pencil to take notes during class.

"Why do we have to watch this, Izuki?"

Naruto asked with a bored expression, weaving through the people to keep up with the green-haired girl.

The teenager (14) known as Izuki Midoriya has fair skin, freckles on her cheeks, green eyes, and messy green hair with some slightly darker, almost black, strands that are curly down to the roots. Her height is 1.56m and her weight is 47kg. Her outfit consists of the Orudera Junior High girls' uniform and oversized red sneakers with black laces tied in a bow and white soles. She also carries a large yellow backpack where she keeps her personal items and school supplies.

She turned her head slightly toward the black-haired boy, who returned her still-bored gaze.

"Isn't it obvious, Naruto?"

The freckled girl asked enthusiastically to the black-eyed boy, who shook his head in response.

"It's because I want to see this incredible fight between the heroes and that villain!"

Izuki exclaimed happily, pointing her pen at said villain, who was starting to get increasingly violent.

At the same time, she pulled out her notebook, where she had written down the qualities/powers she admired most from heroes and villains alike, ready to write down any event that might stand out from the rest. The black-haired boy just listened silently to Izuki's words, stepping up beside her to watch as she wrote down at astonishing speed every detail she saw of the fight happening in front of them.

Suddenly, however, something happened that snapped the black-haired boy out of his thoughts: the rat-like villain smashed a tower while roaring in anger. But thanks to Desutegoro, who caught the falling tower with his bare hands using his super strength, there was no accident, and all the civilians watching thanked the super-strong hero, thoroughly impressed [Except for Naruto, who was distracted by something else].

"It's Desutegoro!"

A civilian said aloud.

The hero known as Desutegoro (Death Arms) is a very tall man with a highly muscular body and a prominent chin. He has short white hair. In his hero costume, he wears a headband with the yellow/black pattern of hazard warning signs. His shirt only covers his arms, leaving his torso and abs visible. On each of his wrists, he wears two heavy metal bracelets with the same color pattern as his headband, and he wears light blue pants with a vertical white stripe. His belt also has the same pattern.

"He delivers justice with his great strength! The hero of punches!"

Another civilian exclaimed in the same tone as the first guy.

Then, suddenly, another hero appeared to keep all the civilians away and safe from the fight between the heroes and the rat-like villain, who began to feel cornered seeing so many heroes show up.

"Yes, yes, don't get too close. Step back, step back."

The newly arrived hero ordered with a somewhat sarcastic tone, as he was a little jealous he wasn't getting as much attention as his teammate.

"The rescue specialist Backdraft came too!"

Another random civilian commented happily, which brought a proud smile to the hero's face.

The hero known as Backdraft is dressed like a firefighter; he wears a yellow jacket and a red firefighter helmet. He has a cannon on his shoulder capable of shooting water, and a red tank full of water on his back. He protects his face with a white mask. He has red valves at the ends of his arms, and yellow boots.

"It must be amazing to have a Quirk that turns you into a monster, right, Naruto?"

Izuki asked enthusiastically, her eyes still glued to the fight, though that didn't stop her from continuing to write in her notebook.

"No, thanks. I like my handsome appearance."

Naruto replied with a grimace of disgust at the appearance the Quirk gave the villain.

Izuki giggled, then shook her head at the black-haired boy's response.

"What's happening?"

A civilian asked the guy on his right.

"He stole a purse, and when he got cornered, he got violent."

The guy answered with an expression caught between bored and annoyed.

"That's a pickpocket's Quirk?"

The first civilian muttered to himself, unable to believe the Quirk such a simple villain had.

"I'm sorry, the train is... yeah, I don't think I'll make it to the office."

Another random civilian nervously answered his boss over the phone.

Suddenly, yet another hero arrived, rushing quickly over the heads of everyone present, heading straight to fight the villain.

"You can do it, Kamui!"

A group of girls screamed like crazy, incredibly excited to see their favorite hero live.

The hero known as Kamui wears a black unitard with blue highlights, a wooden helmet, long wooden gloves that go past his elbows, a wooden belt, and matching boots as his hero costume.

"Kamui? ... curious name for a hero with wood techniques, although that reminds me of someone."

Naruto thought, his gaze fixed on the hero, though he instantly shrugged it off and looked back at the green-haired girl, who was still writing down everything she saw with great enthusiasm, just like she always did when things like this happened.

But once again, the black-haired boy was interrupted when the hero named Kamui leaped from the street onto a traffic light, and from there took a massive jump into the air, landing on his hands and feet on a rooftop. However, he had to dodge to his left because the villain's massive fist destroyed the spot where he had just been standing.

"STAY AWAY!"

The villain roared with utter fury at the hero, taking a swipe at him in an attempt to swat Kamui.

But the hero with the wood Quirk was much faster due to his smaller size compared to the villain, so he easily dodged the villain's massive hand. Almost instantly, he formed a sort of branch from his right arm that hooked onto a nearby tower, performing mid-air acrobatics that drew even more screams of excitement from Kamui's fan group.

"That's Kamui Woods."

The freckled girl said excitedly, staring intently at the hero who was quickly readying his ultimate technique.

"He's a true rising star!"

Izuki exclaimed aloud, catching the attention of a random civilian standing to her right.

"Exactly, young lady... you're a fan, aren't you?"

A bald civilian asked with a creepy smile, inching closer to the girl, knowing perfectly well he hit the nail on the head as he watched her blush slightly.

"Oh, yes..."

Izuki answered with some embarrassment, as the creepy guy had invaded her personal space.

Luckily, Naruto heard and noticed just in time that the bald, perverted creep had gotten too close to his Izuki. Clenching his fists to try and control his anger, he decided to do something very sudden, but that got the exact result Naruto wanted.

"Hey old man, back away from my Little Broccoli."

Naruto ordered with a serious expression, wrapping his arms around the green-haired girl's body and pulling her against his chest in a protective display.

Consequently, Izuki's face turned beet red due to her friend Naruto's unexpected action... though she had to admit she really liked that the black-haired boy held her in such a protective embrace, so she enjoyed the moment with a smile on her lips. Meanwhile, the bald civilian quickly scurried away with a terrified expression, as the glare the young student shot him nearly made him crap his pants in fear.

"You didn't have to do that, Naruto."

Izuki scolded her friend with anime-style puffed cheeks, since she 'didn't like' his highly overprotective attitude toward her.

"Hmph, he deserved it."

The black-eyed boy muttered quietly, resting his chin on top of the green-haired girl's head, staring straight ahead with a calm expression. This caused her to blush once again at her friend's sudden action.

They stayed in that position for a while, and anyone who saw them would think they were a cute couple, until she suddenly decided to break the moment with a comment.

"Naruto, could you let me go? ... this is getting very embarrassing for me."

Izuki commented, still somewhat blushing, because there were a few slightly perverted people looking at them with teasing smiles.

Hearing the green-eyed girl's words, the black-haired boy snapped out of his thoughts and proceeded to do what she asked.

"Uhm? ... oh, right. Sorry Izuki, hehe."

Naruto said with a nervous laugh and a faint blush on his cheeks, releasing the green-eyed girl, who smiled back to show him she wasn't mad or anything at her friend... though they were suddenly interrupted by the fight in front of them.

Kamui began running along the subway tracks, leaping into the air when the villain swung his massive arm at him, intent on crushing him like a cockroach. Next, the hero landed on the villain's arm and took a massive leap toward his face, using his wood abilities to immobilize his wrist, leaving him with an expression caught between scared and surprised. But it only lasted a second, because the giant stretched his arm, shaking him upward... however, Kamui was faster, swinging with his wooden arm to land gracefully on a nearby building before staring down the villain, who glared right back.

"You illegally used your powers in broad daylight during rush hour after committing a robbery... you are the incarnation of evil."

Kamui stated with a serious expression, extending his right arm so that a bunch of branches sprouted from it.

"Incarnation of evil? ... if they only knew Mr. Danzo..."

The black-haired boy thought with a shudder, remembering that old man with an Uchiha fetish or Sasuke's snake bride.

"Ah! Here it comes!"

Izuki screamed with excitement, (without realizing it) grabbing a certain black-haired boy's hand. He was mildly surprised by the green-haired girl's sudden action but shrugged without saying anything about it.

"Let us see your special techniques, tree man!"

A random civilian yelled out.

"Pre-emptive... Binding... Lacquered Chain Prison!"

Both Kamui and Izuki shouted at the same time, though the green-haired girl only joined in because she loved shouting the heroes' ultimate techniques during the final moments of a major fight.

Meanwhile, Kamui's ultimate technique quickly shot toward the villain, who tried to protect himself with his right forearm, but this distracted him from another sudden attack aimed right at him.

"Canyon Cannon!"

A heroine loudly interrupted with her own special technique, appearing surprisingly out of nowhere and kicking the villain square in the jaw, knocking him out instantly. This sent him crashing on his back into the street with a dull thud.

This left most of the crowd (except Naruto) with shocked expressions, speechless at the unexpected event.

"Eh?"

Kamui said in surprise, watching this new heroine steal 'his' villain by appearing practically out of nowhere.

Meanwhile, the heroine landed heavily on the street, staring with a victorious smile as she realized she had taken down her first villain with a gigantification Quirk in one precise strike.

"Here she comes. Here she comes."

A group of reporters along with a couple of civilians chanted over and over, cameras in hand, taking a massive amount of photos of the new heroine.

However, this caused them to push Naruto and Izuki backward, blocking the perfect view they had of the fight and the giant heroine. But suddenly, the black-haired boy had a great idea so the green-eyed girl could see without any problems.

"Do you want me to put you on my shoulders so you can see better, Izuki?"

The black-haired boy asked with a somewhat bold smile, preparing to hoist her onto his shoulders... but she stopped him dead in his tracks with a deeply blushing expression.

"W-What!? No!"

Izuki answered in embarrassment upon seeing the smile on the black-haired boy's lips, swiftly turning her gaze back toward the new heroine in an attempt to hide her red cheeks.

Naruto just chuckled softly at the green-haired girl's reaction, slowly shifting his gaze to where the fight had concluded.

"Today is the day of my debut. My name is Mt. Lady."

The heroine introduced herself with a sweet smile that captivated everyone present... well, except Naruto, who had gotten distracted by something else that caught his attention more.

"It's a pleasure to meet you."

Mt. Lady greeted everyone with a flirty wink, striking a sexy pose that further highlighted her rear, causing the men present to get heart-eyes and perverted smiles on their lips.

The heroine known as Mt. Lady is a tall, attractive woman with long, straight blonde hair featuring two curled strands, and violet eyes with white pupils. Her hero costume consists of a tight cream and purple full-body suit accented with orange stripes. The bodysuit also has three peculiar orange diamond-shaped designs on the upper section located just beneath her chest. She also wears an open purple mask with horn-like protrusions on the sides.

"Here she comes. Here she comes." The same reporters and civilians repeated the same words over and over while taking pictures of the heroine from different angles, especially of her large a... rear.

"Well, it was obvious the fight was going to end like this."

Naruto thought in his mind with a sigh of boredom, slowly shifting his gaze away from the heroine in the tight suit... though suddenly he was interrupted by an elbow to his ribs from Izuki, who was looking at him with a serious expression.

"... Why did you do that, Izuki?"

The black-eyed boy asked with a grimace of pain, rubbing his left hand over his ribs, trying to soothe the pain that punch from his friend had caused.

"Stop looking at her like that... pervert."

The green-haired girl said in a cold tone, narrowing her eyes at her friend, who stared back at her with a blank expression at the false accusation... well, almost false.

"You're wrong, Izuki. I wasn't looking at her 'like that'... besides, she doesn't interest me for obvious reasons."

Naruto commented with a 'serious' expression, though simultaneously somewhat amused, seeing how he had riled his friend up because he obviously noticed she was jealous.

"Oh, really?"

Izuki asked, hands on her hips, to which the black-haired boy nodded in response. "And what are 'those' reasons?"

The green-haired girl asked, crossing her arms this time, causing her breasts to shift slightly right before Naruto's eyes. He went speechless and mesmerized for a few seconds, but quickly recovered, looking away with a faint blush on his cheeks.

Though unbeknownst to Naruto, because he was looking away, Izuki formed a proud smile seeing that she had made a good impression on her friend.

"Well, for one, she's like 10 years older than me..."

The black-haired boy replied quietly, turning his head slightly to look at his friend, who seemed to accept the black-eyed boy's answer... for now.

"You're right about that, she's way too old for you."

Izuki said, resting a finger on her chin, deep in thought about the black-haired boy's words, forming a small smile, because no one in this world or the entire universe was going to take her Naruto away from her.

While this was happening between the two, the other civilians loudly cheered for the new pro-heroine who had saved them by defeating the pickpocket villain.

"S-She took the credit..."

Kamui muttered quietly, still in the same position as before with his right arm extended, his ultimate technique left halfway done.

____________________________________________________________

"With the rise of these abilities, the crime rate skyrocketed. When governments found themselves restricted from passing more radical laws, courageous individuals inspired by comic books began performing heroic acts. They fought evil, protected people. Soon, heroes were accepted by society. Their activities became officially recognized. The government began paying them based on their performance. And they were praised by the masses."

The narrator, who is obviously Izuki, began her explanation once again.

____________________________________________________________

"So, gigantification... it's definitely an incredible Quirk, but... if we think about the damage it could cause in cities, could that be considered a limitation?"

The green-haired girl asked with a thoughtful expression to the black-haired boy, who was staring up at the clouds with clear boredom on his face, though hearing Izuki's question snapped him out of it.

"Looking at it from that point of view, it's a clear offensive disadvantage, because there are a lot of people here who could end up hurt from a fight... but looking at it defensively, the buildings could protect her from attacks, obviously as long as the city was evacuated."

Naruto answered with a bored expression, this time watching the police take away the villain from earlier.

"Hmmm, you're right. Thanks, Naruto..."

Izuki thanked him happily for her friend's input, beginning to add more notes to her hero notebook.

"Though if she could control the size of her body, it would be an interesting Quirk, don't you think?"

The green-haired girl commented with a faint smile on her lips, writing down that last thought that had occurred to her in her notebook.

"Maybe..."

The black-eyed boy said with a small shrug, as he really wasn't all that interested in the new heroine's Quirk.

Having finished writing, the green-eyed girl closed her notebook, put it in her backpack, and then stared intently at Naruto because she wanted to ask him something.

"By the way, Naruto."

The green-haired girl said quietly, catching the attention of the black-haired boy, who turned his body toward her, giving her his full attention.

"When we get out of class, I'd like to learn a new trick and train a bit."

Izuki asked with a sweet smile, which made the black-eyed boy's eyes gleam strangely at the word 'training'.

"No problem, Izuki."

Naruto agreed with a slight smile, causing her to smile in sheer happiness at hearing the black-haired boy's positive response. To show her gratitude, she gave him a tight hug, pressing her breasts against Naruto's torso, leaving him with a faint blush on his cheeks because her unexpected action had caught him off guard.

After this, both students turned around and began walking slowly toward Aldera Junior High, while the green-haired girl stored her precious notebook in her backpack.

____________________________________________________________

Aldera Junior High

Izuki, Naruto, and the other students were half-listening to their teacher, who had started talking about an important topic that concerned all of them.

"Since you are all third-years, it's time you start thinking seriously about your futures. Now, I should hand out these career aptitude tests, but... you all..."

The teacher formed a diabolical smile on his lips before grabbing a stack of blank tests from his desk.

"You all want to be heroes, right!?"

The teacher asked, this time with a fake smile, throwing the papers all over the classroom, watching as his students [except Izuki, who was writing, and Naruto, who was looking out the window] activated their Quirks to threaten him if he tried to give them a pop quiz that could jeopardize their careers as future heroes and heroines.

"Heroes? Personally, I have no interest, but I made a promise to Izuki..."

The black-haired boy thought with a sigh, letting his head drop onto his desk with a thud that apparently everyone ignored, except for the green-haired girl who looked at her friend with concern... but she couldn't ask him anything because her other classmates interrupted her, so she just looked straight ahead, raising her hand with a bit of embarrassment.

"Yes!"

The students replied loudly and very happily, each of them showing off their own Quirks to the teacher.

"Yes, yes, you all have wonderful Quirks!"

The teacher praised each of his students.

"But remember, it is against school rules to use your Quirks in class."

The teacher said with a serious expression.

"Teach! Don't lump me in with the rest of these rejects. Unlike them, I'm aiming for the top."

An ash-blonde teenager commented with a mocking smirk on his lips.

"Just what we needed, now this terrorist's ego has gone through the roof..."

Naruto thought with an annoyed scowl, prepping himself just in case the ash-blonde tried to pull any stupid stunt with his Little Broccoli.

"What do you mean by that, Katsuki!"

Most of the students demanded of their classmate, whose self-esteem was through the roof and who never sat well with them.

The student known as Katsuki Bakugo is a fair-skinned teenager with short, spiky, untidy ash-blonde hair without curls. His eyes are red and sharp, and he is almost always seen with a scowl or a mocking smirk whenever he's bothering a certain green-haired teenager with freckles on her cheeks. His outfit consists of the Aldera Junior High boys' uniform, which made him look slimmer than he actually is, plus he wears white sneakers with gray horizontal lines.

"You guys are loud for simple extras!"

Katsuki declared aloud with the same mocking smirk on his lips, which only made his classmates' fury increase even more.

However, the teacher in charge of the class decided to ask a question to lighten the heavy atmosphere covering the entire room, which felt like it could explode at any moment.

"Ah! That's right, Bakugo, you want to go to U.A. High School, don't you?"

The teacher asked, his eyes glued to his student attendance book.

In response, Katsuki nodded proudly, confirming he would be going to that academy to become a famous hero.

"What!? Why did Kacchan choose to go to the same Academy as me...?"

Izuki thought, a depressive aura surrounding her, since the ash-blonde would now try to bully her even more often than before... though she then remembered Naruto, knowing instantly that he would protect her from Katsuki.

"... Well, maybe it'll be fun."

The black-haired boy thought with a small, sinister smile in his mind, because at that academy he might get to have a fight or two against the cocky, annoying bastard terrorist.

"U.A.? The best in the country?"

A random student asked his classmates, who paled just hearing the academy's name.

"79% of the applicants don't even pass the entrance exam!"

A female student said with a hint of fear in her voice, remembering a comment her best friend made about the academy.

"Plus, the acceptance rate is extremely low!"

Another student loudly backed up his classmate's words.

"That's why I say you're all just extras."

The ash-blonde said with a huge mocking grin, jumping from his chair onto his desk, standing at his full height to look down at everyone in the classroom.

"I got an 'A' on the mock exam."

He rubbed his grade in everyone's faces.

"I am the only one here capable of getting into U.A."

He stated with immense pride in his words, pointing at himself with his right thumb.

"I'm going to surpass All Might, I will be the number 1 hero! I swear it! I will carve my name into the ranking of the richest people in the world!"

He promised with his left fist extended, gripping it tightly near his face as if he were challenging destiny or someone specific.

"Speaking of which, Midoriya-san along with Naruto-san also want to go to U.A."

The teacher calmly revealed.

However, without realizing it, the teacher made the mistake of temporarily forgetting that his revelation could bring serious consequences for a certain ash-blonde who obviously would not take this well.

Izuki hid her face in her hands from the embarrassment of having all her classmates staring at her. Naruto couldn't care less if they looked at him or ignored him; as long as they didn't make fun of his green-haired girl, everything was fine by him. Katsuki, however, was completely paralyzed in place, mouth agape upon hearing the teacher's words, as he had never expected this kind of revelation.

But the black-haired boy noticed just in time that all his classmates were about to laugh, so with a cold glare, he decided to say a few words about it.

"Don't you dare laugh, or I'll kill you."

Naruto warned everyone with a chilling expression, causing all his classmates to pale and stare straight ahead with a look of absolute terror.

The teacher had a similar reaction—a small shiver warning his brain and body that he shouldn't say a word or he might end up dying painfully.

Izuki lifted her gaze slightly from her desk to look at the black-haired boy, her cheeks puffed out in anime style, because she didn't like the threat her friend had just made to her classmates... though on the other hand, she was happy Naruto was defending her from the evil Kacchan.

Meanwhile, Katsuki did the exact opposite of the black-haired boy's warning, exploding with anger... literally, as he began walking toward the green-haired girl's desk. She shrank back in fear seeing how the ash-blonde reacted.

"Deku! ..."

He yelled out furiously, but before he could confront Izuki verbally or even physically, Naruto made his move, stopping the ash-blonde dead in his tracks with a kick to the face. It halted him completely, leaving him no chance to defend himself or keep moving toward his target, and as he realized who his attacker was, his eyes widened slightly.

"You... bastard..."

Katsuki whispered quietly with a clear grimace of pain before falling face-first onto the floor with a dull thud.

"That's what you get when you mess with my Little Broccoli, terrorist."

The black-haired boy reminded the ash-blonde, who was now unconscious on the floor.

Most of the people who saw this were left with their mouths hanging open, except for Izuki, who sighed in relief seeing that she was saved just in time from Kacchan once again thanks to Naruto. The teacher, however, had no choice but to punish the black-haired boy for knocking out a classmate.

"Naruto! To the principal's office!"

The teacher ordered with an expression caught between furious and terrified, seeing how the black-haired boy had defeated Aldera Junior High's top student with just one ordinary kick to the face... without a doubt, that was terrifying coming from a teenager like the black-haired boy, since he didn't have any Quirk in his body.

"Hai, hai... sensei."

Naruto accepted begrudgingly, beginning to walk slowly toward the classroom exit with a bored expression. Then he opened the door and walked in the exact opposite direction of the principal's office, taking the path that led up to the school's rooftop.

All this happened with the eyes of every student fixed on the black-haired boy's back, watching him with fear and some amazement, unable to believe Katsuki had been defeated by someone Quirkless.

Izuki worried deeply that Naruto was being sent to the principal's office, feeling like it was her fault that all this trouble had happened in the first place.

"... And, please, someone take Bakugo-san to the nurse's office."

The teacher said with a tired expression, since this happened far too often with the problematic Katsuki and Izuki's guard dog, aka Naruto.

"They don't pay me enough to put up with this crap every single day..."

The teacher thought, an aura of depression surrounding him, though he was suddenly pulled from his depressing thoughts by a timid female voice.

"I'll do it, sensei."

The green-haired girl timidly offered her help to the teacher, using it as an excuse to go talk to Naruto, who was currently punished in the 'principal's office'.

Her classmates turned around to stare at the green-haired girl in absolute shock, causing her to blush because she was receiving way too much attention, and it was starting to make her a bit uncomfortable.

"Alright, Midoriya-san."

The teacher agreed, harboring some doubts about whether she could carry the ash-blonde's body all by herself.

"Take Bakugo-san to the nurse's office, but someone... help her..."

The teacher muttered those last words in surprise, as Izuki effortlessly hauled Katsuki's unconscious body up, draping one of his arms around her neck and letting Kacchan's weight fall against her body before slowly walking toward the infirmary.

Once again, all the students were left speechless witnessing this from Izuki, but they were pulled from their astonishment when their sensei began teaching the class again.

____________________________________________________________

When the green-haired girl found the infirmary, she placed Katsuki's unconscious body on a bed since the school nurse would surely be there soon. Right after, she decided to turn around and leave the infirmary to head toward the roof... but as she was about to do so, a hand suddenly grabbed her, making her let out a squeak of fear. However, she never expected what was about to happen.

"Please, Deku... don't go, stay with me..."

Katsuki pleaded to the green-eyed girl, whose back was turned. Luckily, he had managed to stop her just in time. She froze in place hearing Kacchan's words and slowly turned around, coming face to face with the ash-blonde... which caused her to blush fiercely from having him so close to her. He looked as if he were hypnotized by the green-haired girl, pulling her closer with his hands. Noticing this, Izuki decided to act fast and think of a quick lie, because otherwise this could go way too far.

"I-I'm sorry, Kacchan... but Naruto asked me for something."

Izuki lied, stuttering slightly as she freed herself from the ash-blonde's grip, then bolted out of the infirmary, leaving the ash-blonde teen with an expression caught between sad and utterly furious. Pounding his fist with rage, he struck his bed, but this completely shattered it, sending him crashing harshly to the floor.

"Damn you, Naruto!"

The ash-blonde growled with a grimace of pain, slowly standing up from the floor to head back to class, ready to clash once again with a certain black-haired boy.

With Naruto

The black-haired boy was staring up at the sky again, leaning his arms against the rooftop railing.

"If something good doesn't happen soon, I think I'll die of boredom."

The black-haired boy muttered with a sigh at the end of his words, and as if heard by Kami, a very familiar female voice pulled him from his boring thoughts.

"Naruto!"

The green-haired girl called out to her friend loudly. Hearing his friend's voice, the black-haired boy slowly turned around, coming face to face with Izuki.

"Hey, Izuki! ... What are you doing here?"

Naruto asked, somewhat confused as to what the green-haired girl was doing up here instead of being in class with the rest.

"I should be asking you the exact same thing, Naruto. Aren't you supposed to be in the principal's office?"

The green-eyed girl shot her own question back at her friend, placing her hands on her hips to show her annoyance.

"No, why?"

The black-eyed boy replied in a very calm tone, pretending to be innocent of whatever he was being accused of.

"For sending Kacchan unconscious to the infirmary."

Izuki reminded him with a serious expression, which made the black-haired boy sigh in annoyance, because after all, Katsuki deserved that hit, and in his opinion, he should have suffered more from his iron fist.

"That idiot deserved it..."

Naruto replied, remembering the moment.

"He tried to hit you, Izuki."

The black-haired boy growled under his breath, clenching his fists tightly to hold back his rising anger.

...

..

.

And for a split second, his eyes gained a yellow iris with black pupils reflecting a bottomless surge of rage. Fortunately, the green-eyed teen didn't notice, and Naruto was able to return to normal by taking a deep breath of air.

"Well, maybe Kacchan deserves it..."

The green-haired girl agreed without a second thought, because the ash-blonde had always been that hostile, especially towards her.

"But, there was no need for you to knock him unconscious."

The green-eyed girl said quietly, surprisingly taking the black-haired boy's hands. He was taken aback by the green-eyed girl's sudden action, as she stared deeply into his eyes.

"Hmph, I don't regret knocking him unconscious."

The black-eyed boy commented with a look of pure pride, drawing another sigh from the teen as she saw how stubborn her friend could be. She then let go of the black-haired boy's hands, knowing she couldn't change his mind or get him to apologize to the ash-blonde.

"Let's drop the subject for now..."

Izuki half-accepted the black-haired boy's previous comment, suddenly getting into a basic Kung Fu stance.

"A friendly spar?"

The green-haired girl asked with a small smile on her lips.

Hearing those words, the black-eyed boy's personality completely shifted.

"I would never say no to a fight."

Naruto answered with a wide grin, seeing a chance to shake off some of his boredom with the green-haired girl. He then mirrored the green-eyed girl, shifting into a basic Kung Fu stance of his own.

"Come on, you first, Izuki."

The black-eyed boy invited the green-haired teen to attack first with a gesture of his right hand.

She grew slightly annoyed seeing that her friend was underestimating her by giving her a clear opening, so she wasn't going to waste it; she'd teach him a good lesson as punishment.

"Thanks..."

The green-eyed girl said with a smile, taking a short dash toward Naruto and striking fast with a right punch aimed at his face. The black-haired boy caught it easily, but if one looked closely, they could see a grimace of surprise cross his face.

"Wow! My Little Broccoli got stronger."

The black-haired boy commented, evident surprise on his face as he felt his left hand tingle slightly from the force of the green-haired girl's punch. But he decided to act quickly, giving the teen no time to utter a word.

With a swift motion, Naruto brought his knee up to strike Izuki's stomach... but she reacted fast, blocking the hit with her own knee, though the force of her opponent's strike made her wince in pain.

"Surprise attacks, huh?"

The green-haired girl asked with a smirk, to which Naruto replied with a mocking grin.

"Then take this!"

Izuki yelled, delivering a hard headbutt right to the black-haired boy's face, making his eyes roll back for a second.

Consequently, the black-haired boy let go of the green-haired girl's fist, and she obviously used that distraction to land a solid kick to his torso, sending the black-eyed boy stumbling a few steps back with a somewhat dazed expression from the precise and unexpected hits he received from his friend.

"Good moves, Izuki."

Naruto praised his friend with a slight smile on his lips, holding onto the rooftop railing with his left hand while dusting off his uniform with his right.

"Now it's my turn..."

The black-haired boy muttered quietly, quickly pulling a strange black cloak out of nowhere and unexpectedly tossing it into the air, causing the green-eyed girl to get distracted for a few seconds—which was exactly Naruto's goal.

Seeing this, the black-haired boy acted fast, appearing right in front of her with his right arm extended, ready to deal the final blow to Izuki... but suddenly something happened that pulled both of them out of their actions and friendly spar.

{RINGGG!}

Both were slightly disturbed upon hearing the annoying sound of the school bell, which, to their anger, interrupted them at the most exciting part of their fight. Still, the green-haired girl was the one who decided to say something about it.

"Looks like I was saved by the bell..."

The green-eyed girl commented with a somewhat nervous smile, seeing that the black-haired boy had intended to knock her out or something similar with his previous attack.

Naruto simply formed a small smile on his lips hearing his friend's words.

"I wouldn't be so sure, Izuki..."

The black-eyed boy said quietly, and unexpectedly reached out with his right hand, grabbing one of the green-haired girl's breasts. She was left speechless, eyes wide in shock at her friend's sudden action.

"Could it be that they grew bigger?"

The black-haired boy asked with an expression torn between confused and curious, trying to compare the size the green-haired girl's breasts used to be with his left hand, leaving him dumbstruck when he realized they had indeed grown larger.

"Pervert!"

Izuki screamed aloud, acting on instinct to throw a heavy punch right at the black-haired boy, who had his guard down and was highly distracted.

Unable to react in time, Naruto took the full force of the blow to his face, sending him crashing into some metal pipes lying nearby and bringing him right to the brink of unconsciousness, though he still maintained a faint, weak smile on his lips.

"Without... a doubt... they grew... bigger..."

Naruto whispered, his eyes spinning in swirls, right before he finally lost consciousness, still keeping his small, somewhat perverted smile.

Meanwhile, Izuki held her chest with a fiercely blushing face because of the black-haired boy's incredibly bold move, and then she began walking slowly toward her friend.

"My little perverted fox..."

The green-haired girl mumbled with a small smile, proceeding to sit directly on Naruto's back, since she had to think of a way to wake him up from his state of temporary unconsciousness. Instantly, a great idea struck her, and a strange smile formed on her lips.

Somewhere in Shizuoka Prefecture

A woman screamed in terror as a villain snatched the money from her purse, leaving her lying on the ground. Acting on instinct, she used her Quirk, which consisted of a blue energy shield, to protect herself from the thief.

"A thief!"

A civilian shouted, pointing at the guy who had mugged the woman.

"Somebody!"

The same civilian desperately called out for the help of any nearby hero.

Meanwhile, the giant sludge-like villain escaped with the money he stole from the woman, moving at a rapid pace through the people standing in his way.

"Catch me if you can!"

The villain loudly challenged anyone brave enough to face him, nonchalantly crashing into a lamppost, passing right through it with his viscous body without suffering the slightest damage, for obvious reasons.

"Huh? There's no hero here."

Another civilian said, looking around.

"There's usually someone close by."

The same civilian commented, highly confused by the lack of heroes in the vicinity.

As this was happening, a mysterious man walked out of a convenience store carrying a shopping bag in his left hand. Seeing the commotion, he stopped right at the door of the shop.

"They must be taking advantage of the chaos from this morning."

Another random civilian remarked, remembering the fight from a few hours prior.

The mysterious man coughed into his right hand, staining it with a bit of blood as he listened closely to the civilians' conversation.

"There are a lot of guys who don't know what to do with their Quirks."

Another nearby civilian muttered under his breath.

"They never end..."

The same civilian said with a clear look of disappointment on his face, watching the villain casually escape down the opposite sidewalk without a single hero there to stop him.

The mysterious man had heard enough of this conversation, so he decided to use his mysterious Quirk, growing taller and much more muscular than his previous form, to then make his dramatic entrance as a famous hero known worldwide.

"They will end."

The blonde hero promised with a deep voice. This caused the civilians to spin around rapidly with expressions of sheer surprise, coming face to face with a hero they all knew thanks to his Quirk and his giant smile.

"And that's because..."

The muscular blonde took a dramatic pause, locking eyes with the villain. The villain felt a strange chill down his 'spine' and looked back over his shoulder at a specific spot, instantly terrified when he saw the hero.

"I am here!"

The blonde declared with a massive smile, instantly calming the tense atmosphere among the civilians and having the desired effect on them as always.

Aldera Junior High

Classes had ended for the third-year students, so they started getting ready to head home. Though not everyone was going home, as a small group was heading somewhere else to have a little fun with their friends.

"Hey, wanna go to karaoke?"

A student asked her friend with a smile.

"Sounds great!"

The other student replied enthusiastically to her friend.

As the students began to leave, Naruto had been trying to catch Izuki's attention for several minutes... He didn't understand why she was ignoring him; he hadn't done anything wrong... he thought.

"Come on, Izuki, don't ignore me."

The black-haired boy pleaded to the green-haired girl, who was calmly reading this morning's news on her phone, completely ignoring her friend.

And Naruto thought Izuki was ignoring him because of his sudden action earlier, which he was slowly beginning to remember.

"This morning's incident is the top news story!"

The green-eyed girl said with a happy expression before putting her phone away in her backpack... still completely ignoring the black-haired boy standing right in front of her. Seeing this, he was left in 'shock' at being entirely shut out by the green-haired girl.

"She completely ignored me..."

Naruto muttered quietly, a depressive aura surrounding him. Unexpectedly, he was interrupted by the green-eyed girl, who realized something was up with her friend.

"Naruto!"

The green-haired girl called out loudly to the black-haired boy, grabbing his bare hands resting on the desk.

"We need to hurry home, I still have to write some things in my hero notebook."

Izuki commented to the black-eyed boy. He jerked his head up, realizing he had finally caught his friend's attention, and noting that she was holding his hands, he blushed faintly.

____________________________________________________________

With Bakugo

The ash-blonde was watching the conversation between his Deku and that damn thief/usurper... To his amusement and 'joy', Naruto was doing everything he could to get Deku's attention, who wasn't giving him the time of day at the moment. Seeing him surrounded by that strange depressive aura brought a mocking smirk to Katsuki's lips.

"You deserve it, damn usurper."

Katsuki said with the same smirk on his lips.

Meanwhile, his two friends nodded with an anime-style sweat drop, observing their leader's bizarre attitude toward Naruto concerning the freckled green-haired girl. Without a doubt, it was jealousy.

"Katsuki, you're diabolical..."

One of the ash-blonde's friends thought nervously, watching him chuckle like a maniac.

But then, something none of the three expected happened, and the ash-blonde suffered from it the most. Izuki unexpectedly grabbed Naruto's hand. Obviously, seeing this, Katsuki felt an incredible amount of jealousy and fury from the deepest depths of his soul. He appeared in a blur of speed right in front of the green-haired girl and next to the black-haired boy, ready to unleash his wrath on Deku and Naruto.

"Deku!"

The ash-blonde shouted in rage, startling her with Kacchan's sudden appearance, while the black-haired boy growled upon hearing his voice.

"Damn you!"

Katsuki yelled furiously, slamming his fist down on the teen's desk, not realizing that when he slammed his left fist down, he triggered a small explosion that nearly pulverized Izuki's notebook, leaving it half unrecognizable.

Both Izuki and Naruto were left with their mouths open, staring at the state of the hero analysis notebook that the green-haired girl had poured so much effort into making. Katsuki's friends watched with disappointment, seeing their leader act so cruelly toward Izuki, and at the same time, they began to tremble with fear as they felt the atmosphere suddenly shift. The cause was the black-haired boy, who stood up from his chair with his eyes closed to control his surging anger once more. Bakugo smiled mockingly, seeing that the green-haired girl was on the verge of tears due to his action, and seeing that made him feel something strange in his heart... for a moment, he intended to apologize to her for what he did to her notebook, but he couldn't, because Naruto cut him off.

"You know, Katsuki. You crossed the line this time..."

The black-haired boy stated, cracking his knuckles loudly.

"And you're going to pay dearly for it."

Naruto promised with a cold expression, opening his eyes to reveal the same yellow irises with black pupils as before.

Bakugo shook his head to forget about his apology to the green-haired girl, a huge grin forming on his face upon hearing the black-haired boy's words, because he had been waiting for a moment like this for a long, long time.

"Come on, Naruto."

Katsuki challenged the black-haired boy mockingly.

"I've been waiting for this since..."

But suddenly, the ash-blonde was silenced by a heavy, precise uppercut to the jaw from the black-haired boy, lifting him a meter into the air. Then, he delivered a kick to his torso that sent him crashing into his two friends, who struggled to catch their leader's unconscious body.

The black-haired boy watched with utter disappointment as the ash-blonde was defeated with just two hits, and he hadn't even used much force.

"Hmph..."

Naruto scoffed with a bored expression.

"You're still weak, terrorist. Next time you pull something against my Little Broccoli, I won't go so easy on you."

The black-haired boy commented seriously to Katsuki's unconscious body, slowly shifting his gaze to the ash-blonde's two friends, who trembled in fear upon seeing the black-haired boy's strange eyes.

"You two, get him out of my sight."

Naruto ordered with a cold look directed at Bakugo's sidekicks, who nodded rapidly before disappearing in a blur of speed carrying their leader's unconscious body.

After those two got the ash-blonde out of his sight, the black-haired boy's eyes returned to their usual normal black color. He turned around to find his green-haired girl sobbing softly, seeing her hero notebook ruined, so Naruto decided to do something about it, as he hated seeing her in that state.

Meanwhile, Izuki sobbed as she held the hero analysis notebook she had worked so hard to write in her hands... now it was completely ruined because of Kacchan. She was suddenly interrupted by her childhood friend, who placed his right hand on her left shoulder.

"It's okay, Izuki. Your notebook can still be saved."

The black-eyed boy said with a reassuring little smile to cheer her up, though it only made her look sadly at her now-scorched notebook.

"Don't lie, Naruto. You know perfectly well my hero notebook is completely ruined because of Kacchan..."

The green-haired girl mumbled in a very sad tone of voice.

"That's where you're wrong, Izuki. Remember that with my 'magic', I can do almost anything."

The black-haired boy assured her with the same confident smile on his lips, pulling his black cloak from earlier out of his camping backpack, and then taking the charred notebook from the green-eyed girl's hands.

The green-haired girl watched in silence to see what Naruto would do with her notebook. At the same time, the black-haired boy wrapped his friend's hero notebook in his special cloak and placed it on the green-eyed girl's desk with a thoughtful look. Noticing this, Izuki stared intently at the black-eyed boy with a frown.

"And now what?"

Izuki asked, intensely curious about what the black-haired boy's 'magic' could do this time, leaning her face in closer to see what would happen to her precious hero notebook.

"Wait."

Naruto replied seriously, placing his right hand over the cloak-wrapped notebook and letting a few seconds pass in that position... until he suddenly removed his hand from the object.

"Done."

The black-haired boy said with a mysterious tone in his voice, slowly pulling his cloak away from the green-haired girl's notebook... The moment Izuki saw it, her mouth dropped open, because it looked as if it was fresh out of the store where she had bought it.

"Wow, that was amazing!"

The green-haired girl remarked with a happy gleam in her eyes, picking up her precious hero notebook with both hands and staring intently at it, particularly at the title, because suddenly, she had a long and ugly flashback from her past.

____________________________________________________________

Flashback

A four-year-old girl was searching the house for her mother so she could turn on the computer and watch her favorite video about a certain hero.

"Mom!"

A freckled green-haired girl called out loudly to a young green-haired woman, quickly rushing into the kitchen.

"Mom, the computer!"

The freckled girl said once again, bouncing up and down with excitement.

Izuki's mother is a young, slender woman with short dark green hair tied into a ponytail on the left side.

"Again?"

Inko asked with a sweet smile.

"Hurry!"

Izuki replied desperately.

"Goodness, you must have seen this video 10,000 times by now, Izuki."

The young green-haired woman commented with the same smile on her lips, while the little girl couldn't take the wait anymore and started comically banging her head against the padded chair she was sitting on.

"It gives me the chills to watch it."

Izuki's mother remarked, remembering the content of the video regarding a certain hero who is Japan's Symbol of Peace.

Meanwhile, the video began to play, prompting the little green-haired girl to stop what she was doing and watch the computer screen with a huge smile.

"That was an old video. A bizarre catastrophe that happened a long time ago. It showed people being rescued by a hero during his debut."

The narrator began to explain once again.

{Video Starts}

"Are you seeing this!? He's saved a hundred people!"

A civilian exclaimed with a tone caught between scared and amazed.

"It's insane! It hasn't even been ten minutes!"

The same civilian noted with total disbelief at what his eyes were witnessing.

As the civilian said this, a massive figure began to emerge from the ruins of a burning building. Even though they couldn't see him, they could hear the hero's heavy footsteps on top of the bus.

Izuki watched the video with an awestruck smile.

"Hahaha!"

The hero, unknown up to this point, began laughing loudly as he slowly approached over the wrecked bus.

"He's laughing!"

Another civilian said in astonishment at the hero's unexpected action.

Hearing All Might's laugh, Izuki was left speechless by the incredible moment, which, no matter how many times she watched it, never lost its thrill.

"Everything is fine. And that's because..."

All Might took a dramatic pause before continuing his words.

"I am here." The muscular blonde reassured all the civilians with his grand, brilliant smile.

The hero known as All Might is a very tall, blonde man whose design resembles classic American comic book heroes, shaded far more heavily than any other hero. His hair is slicked back except for two tufts at the front that stand up in points. His hero costume consists of a red, white, and blue full-body suit with yellow boots. He has been shown both with and without a cape. Overall, his design is considered very classic.

Izuki's smile widened and her eyes shone brightly upon hearing All Might's words, but those final words were always a bombshell that left her thoroughly impressed.

{Video Ends}

"He's so cool!"

The little green-haired girl said with her arms outstretched, staring intently at the action figure of the famous hero in her right hand.

"When I get a Quirk, I want it to be just like yours! Hahaha!"

Izuki started laughing out loud, trying to imitate All Might's laugh.

Inko watched and listened with a small smile as her only daughter wished to be like that hero in the future. At the same time, her smile shifted to a worried expression, because there was something in her head that had been tormenting her for the last few months, and that was regarding her daughter's Quirk, which up until now, she had not manifested.

{The Next Day}

"It's better if you just give up."

An elderly doctor advised the little green-haired girl seriously.

This completely petrified Izuki in place, leaving her with a blank expression from the sudden, terrible news, while she let her All Might action figure slip from her hand and hit the floor.

"Is that..."

The young green-haired woman muttered, unable to believe the doctor's words.

"So, does she have something wrong?"

Inko asked the doctor, who remained quiet in response, while she gave her daughter a small glance.

"Her kindergarten classmates have all manifested their abilities... she's the only one..."

The young green-haired woman said, worried for the mental state of the little green-eyed girl, who remained stuck in the same position.

The doctor listened to every word the girl's mother said and had instantly drawn a conclusion as to why Izuki didn't have a Quirk like the other children.

"Excuse me, you're fourth generation, right?"

The doctor asked with a serious expression, receiving a nod from the young green-haired woman in response.

"What does your Quirk do?"

The older doctor asked again with notable professionalism.

"Yes, well. I can pull small objects towards me. My husband breathes fire."

Inko answered with her right hand resting on her face, while using her left hand to slowly attract her daughter's action figure.

"Normally, by the age of four, she would have manifested one of those Quirks, or a combination of both. When superpowers began to appear, research was conducted on the matter. The results pointed to an interesting link regarding the absence of a joint in the pinky toe."

The doctor revealed with the same professional attitude, while Inko watched sadly as Izuki stood on the verge of tears listening to the doctor's words.

"When humans don't use a certain part of their body, it becomes unnecessary. People missing a joint represent the next stage of evolution."

The doctor pointed to the x-ray of the younger green-haired girl's left foot.

"As you can see in this x-ray, Izuki-chan has two joints."

The doctor specifically pointed to that area of the foot on the x-ray, and as Izuki heard this and looked at the x-ray, her mouth fell open at her terrible luck.

"It's rare to see something like this nowadays. However, it means that she does not have a Quirk."

The doctor finished explaining with a somewhat sad expression, since this was the absolute worst part of his job—delivering the bad news to his patients and crushing the dreams of Quirkless children.

{Back at the House}

Izuki had spent almost the entire afternoon watching her favorite video of All Might's debut hero appearance over and over again. Meanwhile, Inko watched with a very sad expression, seeing that her daughter was deeply depressed by the terrible news the doctor had given them hours ago.

"Mom..."

Izuki called out quietly to the young green-haired woman.

"No matter the situation, he saves people with a smile. He's such a cool hero..."

The little green-haired girl murmured sadly. Seeing her daughter on the verge of tears broke Inko's heart.

"Can I... be like him?"

The green-eyed girl asked, tears threatening to spill over, as the older green-haired woman slowly began walking toward her daughter.

"I'm sorry, Izuki! I'm sorry!"

Inko cried out over and over to her little girl, holding her tightly because she believed it was her fault that her daughter didn't have a Quirk like the other kids.

"No, you're wrong. You're wrong, Mom. That time, what I wanted to hear was..."

The narrator suddenly went quiet.
