'What happened?'
'Did I die?'
'Why do I still feel like I am alive?'
He slowly opened his eyes. He was alive, but he is not in the museums anymore. It looked like a small, old room.
The room was small with a chair and table turned over and broken in the corner. Right corner. To his left was an empty shelf the same height as him.
The furniture was old, dusty and weak. He walked to the table and turned to its side. The carvings in the wooden table were very minute.
"The Craft man ship of this table is insane! So…."
"Minute, small and intricate details impossible to be done."
He touched the table, it looked like a divine iron left to be rotten by time. He felt the wood would collapse with his slightest pressure. The chair was the same on the table.
The furniture was a single piece with no sign of it being able to disassemble.
There were some writings on the furniture, but he couldn't read them.
"What language is this?"
The chair was the same as the table, old, weak, fragile but divine. On the shelf was a pendent. A silver Crescent moon shaped pendant.
The pendant was like something that did not belong there. It was brand new, glimmering just like the moon.
He took the pendent and noticed a door to his left. He went to the door and opened it.
On the side of the door was a spiral staircase, descending and ascending. He stood there thinking where to go up or down.
"Which way should I go?" He closed his eyes and began to think.
Then a breeze brushed past his left cheek. He opened his eyes and looked to his left.
"A window? "The window was old and the frame of the window looked like it could fall off the wall at any moment. The glass was a purple colored glass. There was a small hole through which light entered.
He walked near the window. The glass was old, but still looked majestic. It was carved so neat without a mistake and just like the other furniture, this glass too looked divine.
The light entering from the small hole in the bottom left corner of the glass was a color of yellow and orange. When tried to open the window he noticed that the window could not be opened. Because it is sealed to the wall and there are no handles or hinges in the window.
"It seems I can not open the window, unless I break this glass."
Then his gaze fell on the small hole in the window. "Or I can just look through the hole."
He looked through the hole and what he saw was . A sky of yellow and orange shade, blue clouds, and stars visibly shining in the sky. And he sees something else as well, but could not make out what it was. It seems that he I'd in some building's first floor.
"What is this place?!"
"Alright I have decided to go down and see what I have seen."
He ascended down the stairs and a door waited at the bottom of the stairs.
He walked closer to the door. It looked like a century old wooden door.
He gently held the handle of the door. Afraid he would break it if he applied even a little extra pressure. He opened the door and what waited on the other side was unbelievable. He could not describe what he saw in simple words.
"What... What is this place."
He saw the sky and yellowish orange like the sky during the sunset, but here there was no sun. Gigantic clouds floating the same level as the building. There were several blue and purple gas which contained several stars twinkling like the night sky.
He walked out of the building, jaws wide open unable to believe his own eyes.
"Is this heaven?..."
"This place looks so..."
"Beautiful..."
He was so mesmerized that did not even notice that he was standing on top of a bridge floating in what seemed like space.
Clouds were floating in the same level as the bridge.
To his left the bridge continued as far as his eyes could see. It looked like it stretched infinity.
And to his right the bridge was broken and the path ended. A huge red arch. When he looked up he saw the building he woke up in looked like an old three story apartment home. The windows were blocked by wooden planks nailed to them.
'The wooden planks are nailed to windows from the outside. It's weird.' He thought to himself.
He looked around and it looked like the apartment was the only building there.
Then he again saw the arch which was taller than the three story building. He walked closer to it.
As he got under the arch. He looked in front of him and the path ended there. The bridge was broken and the iron rods used to support the bridge were very visible. The bridge looks like it would crumble under his weight if he walked further.
And what laid in front of him was the orange sky fully covered by orange clouds.
No... it looks more like fog...
He moved one step and noticed a silhouette of a giant thing in the fog. He took another step in front. Trying to see what the silhouette is.
Then a heavy gush of wind blew his way. The wind was so powerful he felt like it could carry him with it if he was any lighter. But it did make him take a step back and dust fell on his eyes. The fog had slowly cleared by the wind revealing the silhouette.
The boy still could not see what the silhouette was. He rubbed his eyes to get the dust out, then squinted, trying to see what was in front of him.
His mouth and eyes open wide in shock.
A statue... huge...
A ginormous statue of a man with six arms protruding from his back. Each holding a weapon.
The hands attached to his shoulders, empty, right hand fingers facing up, left hand fingers facing down showing his palms.
The lower of hands holds a shield in its left and a long axe in its right.
The top hands hold a whip-like weapon on both hands.
And the middle pair of hands held a giant hammer in his right and a bow which curved in a weird shape which almost made it look like something else if it did not have the string.
The statue floated among the clouds, its lower half covered by mist and it looked like it was smashed apart.
'Whose statue is this?'
'A God's? Or someone else's? '
'And why is the head missing?'
"Why does he have so many arms? And those weapons he holds, why do I feel like I have seen them plenty of times?"
His heart starts to beat fast. He places his hand on his chest feeling his heartbeat. It felt like someone was playing drums inside his chest.
'Why is my heart beating so fast? Is it anxiety? Excitement? Or fear?'
'What is this feeling I am having? Is this Déjà vu?'
At that moment he heard a sound, it was the sound of a text being entered digitally.
He turned towards the sound. On one of the pillars of the arch a screen was visible. He went near it.
The screen showed some kind of symbols being entered.
"20n'† gv01d †hx h0lx.
1† 1$ †hx x%1†.
71n2 1†$ qxn†x5.
71n2 1†$ $1nkulg51†y.
k0 up †hx $†g15$."
'What are these symbols?'
Then the symbols vanished and a new next entered.
"Welcome to the end of reality…AARAV…"
