Chapter 3 - Chapter 0.3

Each begins at a moment in existence

Each feels inevitable, not accidental

Each ties back to what they are, not what they do

The Myths of the Seven Sins

---

Zìháo — Pride

"The First Above"

Before the fall, before rebellion, before even the idea of sin… There was a moment in Heaven where perfection turned inward.

The Light, in all its brilliance, reflected upon itself—not in vanity, but in recognition.

It saw beauty.

It understood it.

And for the first time, something within existence formed a thought that had never been needed before:

"This… is greater."

That single realization did not fade.

It deepened.

It sharpened.

It stood.

From that moment—where perfection acknowledged its own height—

Zìháo was born.

Not as a being created…

…but as the truth that something could stand above all else.

---

Wrath

"The End That Begins with Anger"

There was a moment when existence did not agree with itself.

A fracture—not of form, but of acceptance.

Something looked upon what was… and rejected it.

Not with thought.

Not with reason.

But with a violent, undeniable refusal:

"No."

That "No" did not disappear.

It burned.

It spread.

It became force without direction, power without patience.

The first surge of opposition, the first strike against existence itself—

became Wrath.

Born not from anger alone…

…but from the need to tear down what should not be.

---

Greed

"The Hand That Takes All"

In the earliest age, everything simply… existed.

Nothing was owned.

Nothing was taken.

Nothing was kept.

Until something, for the first time, reached.

Not to survive.

Not to protect.

But to have.

It grasped something that was never meant to belong to anyone…

and held it.

And in that moment, a new truth was written:

"This is mine."

The concept spread like roots through reality.

Ownership.

Possession.

Value.

And from that first act of claiming what was never given—

Greed was born.

---

Envy

"The Reflection That Should Not Be"

There was a moment when one existence looked upon another…

and did not feel content.

It did not wish to take.

It did not wish to destroy.

It simply saw…

and felt something unfamiliar.

A quiet, fragile ache:

"Why am I not that?"

That question echoed.

It repeated.

It hollowed.

And in trying to answer it, something began to change itself—

to mirror, to mimic, to reshape.

But no matter how close it came…

it was never the same.

From that endless, unfulfilled imitation—

Envy was born.

---

Lust

"The Chain of Desire"

At first, existence moved only as it must.

There was purpose.

There was function.

There was balance.

But then—

something wanted more.

Not needed.

Not required.

But desired.

A reaching beyond necessity.

A longing for something simply because it could be felt.

That longing deepened into craving.

That craving into connection.

That connection into dependency.

And from the first moment something acted not because it must…

but because it wanted to—

Lust was born.

---

Sloth

"The Stillness That Awaits All"

There came a moment when something could act…

and chose not to.

Not from weakness.

Not from inability.

But from a quiet, heavy certainty:

"There is no need."

Movement slowed.

Thought softened.

Effort faded.

Not into death—

but into stillness.

A stillness that did not resist, did not struggle, did not care to continue.

And from that first surrender to inaction—

Sloth was born.

---

Gluttony

"The End That Devours All Ends"

There was a moment when something took more than it should.

It consumed beyond need.

Beyond want.

Beyond limit.

And still—

it did not stop.

What it took did not satisfy.

What it consumed did not fill.

Instead, it deepened something far more dangerous:

Hunger without end.

It ate matter.

Then energy.

Then more.

And more.

Until even what could not be eaten began to disappear.

From that endless, bottomless consumption—

Gluttony was born.

Not as a being that eats…

…but as the truth that nothing is ever enough.

---

The Final Myth — The Order of Their Birth

They did not emerge randomly.

They followed one another like an unavoidable sequence:

- First, something stood above (Pride)

- Then, something rejected what was (Wrath)

- Then, something claimed what was not given (Greed)

- Then, something wished to become another (Envy)

- Then, something desired beyond need (Lust)

- Then, something chose not to act (Sloth)

- And finally… something consumed all that remained (Gluttony)

---

The Unspoken Ending

These are not stories of creation.

They are records of when existence changed.

And though countless worlds have risen and fallen since…

Those moments have never been undone.

Because the Sins are not beings that can disappear.

They are truths that have already happened.

The Seven Sins — True Titles of Existence

Zìháo — Pride (Eldest)

"The First Above"

[The Origin of Superiority]

[He Who Stands Unquestioned]

[The Crown Before Kings]

[Embodiment of Ascendancy]

[The Truth That All Things Stand Beneath]

Pride was not born from arrogance—

It was born the moment something recognized itself as greater.

Zìháo is not prideful.

He is the reason pride exists.

Wrath — Second (Second Eldest/Second most responsible)

"The End That Begins with Anger"

[Embodiment of Ruinous Rage]

[The Ever-Rising Cataclysm]

[He Who Escalates Without Limit]

[The Fury That Rejects Stillness]

[The Inevitability of Destruction Through Conflict]

Wrath was born the moment existence rejected itself.

Not anger—

…but the refusal to accept what is.

Greed — Third (Third Eldest)

"The Hand That Takes All"

[Embodiment of Endless Possession]

[The Claimant of All That Exists]

[They Who Define Worth Itself]

[The Infinite Collector of Reality]

[The Hunger That Names Things 'Mine']

Greed was born when something first said:

"This should belong to me."

Envy — Fourth (Right in the Middle)

"The Reflection That Should Not Be"

[Embodiment of Covetous Existence]

[The One Who Erases Difference]

[They Who Mirror All That Is Seen]

[The Fractured Self Without Origin]

[The Longing That Seeks to Become]

Envy was born the moment something looked at another…

and wished not to have—

…but to be.

Lust — Fifth (Mature but third youngest)

"The Chain of Desire"

[Embodiment of All Want and Longing]

[The One Who Binds Through Craving]

[They Who Turn Hearts into Dominion]

[The Whisper That Becomes Need]

[The Force That Moves All Who Reach]

Lust was born when existence first desired more than survival.

Not need—

but want.

Sloth — Sixth (Second Youngest)

"The Stillness That Awaits All"

[Embodiment of Eternal Inertia]

[The One Before Whom All Things Slow]

[They Who Deny Motion and Effort]

[The Silence After All Struggle]

[The Inevitability of Rest]

Sloth was born when something first chose…

not to act.

Gluttony — Seventh (Youngest)

"The End That Devours All Ends"

[Embodiment of Endless Consumption

The Devourer of Matter, Energy, and Meaning]

[They Who Leave Nothing Behind]

[The Hunger That Knows No Completion]

[The Void That Feeds Itself]

Gluttony was born when existence first took more than it could hold…

…and kept taking.

The Hidden Truth of Their Existence:

They are not siblings by blood.

They are sequence.

A chain reaction within existence itself

Pride — "I am above."

Wrath — "Then I will destroy what is not."

Greed — "Then I will take what should be mine."

Envy — "Then I will become what I am not."

Lust — "Then I will desire what I lack."

Sloth — "Then I will cease trying."

Gluttony — "Then I will consume what remains."

Final Line — Zìháo's Truth

"They call us Sins… as if we were flaws."

"…but we are not flaws."

"We are what existence became… the moment it began to feel."
