Chapter 105 - Arriving in Okinawa

The next day, at noon.

Okinawa, a private beach.

Blue sea, blue sky, and bright sunshine. On the white sand, waves washed against the coastline one after another.

"Hahahaha! Amanai, look here!"

Satoru was wearing a pair of flashy swim trunks and his signature round sunglasses, holding a water gun, unscrupulously spraying Riko and Misato as they swam in the sea.

"Gojo! You're so sneaky! You're actually using Cursed Energy to control the trajectory of the water!"

Riko was wearing a one-piece swimsuit, screaming as she dodged the water jets while splashing back with seawater.

Having escaped the assassination by the Star Religious Group and Curse Users, and with Satoru and Suguru's promise to protect her, the fourteen-year-old girl had finally let go of all her psychological burdens, her face blooming with a brilliant smile befitting her age.

Suguru was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, sitting on a beach chair with a glass of iced juice in his hand. He watched the three of them playing in the sea with a gentle smile on his face, but his eyes remained alert, scanning the surroundings from time to time.

Although the black market bounty had been mysteriously withdrawn, as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, he would never easily let down his guard.

"Suguru! Stop acting all brooding over there! Come down and play!" Satoru shouted toward the shore.

"I'll pass..."

Suguru was about to wave his hand in refusal.

Suddenly, Satoru's laughter came to an abrupt halt. He snapped his head around, looking at an empty space less than twenty meters from the beach chair.

The sunglasses on his nose slid down, and those sky-blue "Six Eyes" locked onto the void ahead.

"What is it, Satoru?" Suguru noticed his abnormality, immediately put down his juice, and stood up, Cursed Energy already swirling at his fingertips.

"Suguru, something's coming in." Satoru dropped his playful attitude, his gaze becoming wary.

In his Six Eyes' field of vision, the space on that empty stretch of beach was undergoing extremely unstable folding and distortion.

What made his scalp tingle even more was that his eyes, which could see through all the Cursed Energy in the world, could not capture any trace of Cursed Energy residue from the newcomers.

It was as if two "transparent people" who did not exist in this dimension were forcibly squeezing into reality.

Hum!

A black vortex appeared out of thin air on the beach.

Two tall figures stepped slowly out of the vortex.

Walking in front was the black-haired youth they had met once yesterday on the school playground, Yamada. He was still wearing that black uniform that was out of place on a beach, his expression relaxed.

And following behind him was a burly man with a scar at the corner of his mouth, wearing a tight short-sleeved shirt.

The moment they saw that man, both Satoru and Suguru's breath hitched simultaneously.

Another guy with no Cursed Energy!

Moreover, the pure physical pressure and murderous aura radiating from this scarred man were like a prehistoric beast that had just crawled out of hell.

"Oh my, it's really quite hot wearing a trench coat on such a sweltering day."

Yamada stepped onto the soft sand, casually unbuttoned his clothes, and took a deep breath of the salty sea breeze.

Toji rubbed his slightly dizzy temples. The weightlessness brought by that spatial teleportation made even someone with his physique feel a bit nauseous.

"Boss, next time you teleport, could you give me a heads-up?" Toji complained.

"Boss?"

Hearing this title, Satoru's eyebrows shot up.

He stepped in front of Suguru, his Infinity fully activated.

"Hey, old man. Your entrance is a bit too unreasonable, don't you think? And who's that fierce-looking guy behind you?"

Satoru stared at Toji. "If I'm not mistaken, he has a Heavenly Restriction, right? Not a single drop of Cursed Energy, clean as a blank sheet of paper."

"His name is Fushiguro Toji. A hitman who works for money."

Yamada put his hands in his pockets, looking at the two.

"The Star Religious Group originally paid thirty million to hire him to kill that little girl. But I burned down the Star Religious Group last night and recruited him as a bodyguard while I was at it."

As soon as these words were spoken, Satoru and Suguru both gasped.

Burned down the Star Religious Group?! Recruited a Heavenly Restriction assassin of this level?!

The sheer amount of information contained in that nonchalant sentence was terrifying.

"You... what exactly do you want?" Suguru clenched his fists.

He had originally thought this man just wanted to save Riko on a whim, but now it seemed the other party's methods and strength were beyond what Jujutsu High could handle.

"Don't be nervous, I'm not here to cause trouble."

Yamada looked at Riko, who had already swum ashore and was shivering behind Misato.

"The flies chasing her have all been cleaned up. In other words, she's safe now."

Yamada walked to the beach chair, casually picked up Suguru's unfinished juice, and took a sip without acting like a stranger.

"Don't you guys want to stop her from assimilating with Master Tengen? Since the obstacles are cleared, just take her to live a normal life under an alias."

Satoru was silent for a moment, then pushed up his sunglasses.

"The old geezers won't give up that easily. If Master Tengen doesn't assimilate, the barriers across Japan will collapse."

"That's their problem to worry about, nothing to do with me." Yamada put down the glass, his gaze cold.

"If Master Tengen turns into a Cursed Spirit because they didn't get recharged, then I'll just go to the Tombs of the Star Corridor and cut them down too."

These words, arrogant beyond measure, left those present speechless.

Cut down Master Tengen, who has lived for a thousand years?

Only this monster who breaks all common sense would dare say such a thing.

"Alright, enough small talk."

Yamada turned around and looked at Satoru, the three-tomoe Sharingan slowly emerging in his eyes.

"Kid. Since Amanai's matter is settled, it's time for us to settle our own account."

Satoru was taken aback. "What account do we have to settle?"

"I said before, I'm just looking for some fun."

Yamada raised his hand and pointed at Satoru. "I heard that you and Suguru are called the strongest duo?"

"Show me everything you've got. Let me see if this so-called 'strongest' of yours can make me break a sweat."

The corners of Satoru's lips slowly curled upward.

He casually took off the small round sunglasses from the bridge of his nose and threw them into the sand by his feet, revealing the Six Eyes.

"Old man, confidence is a good thing."

Satoru stood with his hands in the pockets of his beach shorts, a massive surge of Cursed Energy swirling around him. Even the surrounding air produced subtle distortions due to the operation of Limitless.

"But if you overdo the posturing in front of me, you'll end up dying a very ugly death."

"Satoru, don't be careless. His ability is very eerie." Suguru's expression darkened.

His hands were already forming seals, and several hideous Grade 2 Cursed Spirits crawled out from the shadows behind him, preparing to flank from the sides.

However, before Suguru's Cursed Spirits could pounce, a burly black shadow blocked his path like a ghost.

Toji clenched his fists, his eyes locked onto Suguru. "Hey, brat playing monster summoner."

Toji grinned. "My boss wants to duel that white-haired kid one-on-one, your opponent is me. If you don't want to die, release all your trump card Cursed Spirits."

"A normal person without Cursed Energy?" Suguru's brow furrowed, but his intuition screamed at him that the man before him was extremely dangerous.

"Suguru, I'll leave that side to you. I'll deal with this big-talker first."

Leaving those words behind, Satoru's figure instantly vanished from the beach.

That was ultra-high-speed movement achieved purely through Cursed Energy bursts and muscle control. To an ordinary person, it was no different from teleportation.

In the blink of an eye, Satoru appeared at Yamada's left blind spot. He didn't use any fancy Cursed Techniques, instead delivering a kick with his right leg toward Yamada's head.

The speed and power of this strike would have instantly exploded the head of even a First Grade Cursed Spirit.

But Yamada didn't even spare him a glance. He remained in his pose with one hand in his pocket, his body not making even the slightest movement to dodge.

Whoosh!

Satoru's whip-kick passed through Yamada's skull without any resistance, the resulting gale plowing a long trench into the nearby beach.

"That intangibility trick again?"

Satoru wasn't annoyed by the missed strike. Instead, his Six Eyes erupted with an even brighter light.

"As long as you want to attack, you inevitably have to deactivate your intangibility. Let's see how long you can hide."

Using the momentum of the missed swing, he twisted his torso in mid-air, his left hand forming a sign as a pale blue sphere of light radiating terrifying gravitational pull condensed at his fingertips.

Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue!

This miniature spatial black hole was pressed toward Yamada's chest.

Simultaneously, Satoru's Infinity was activated at full power. He was certain that even if Yamada counterattacked, as long as he was careful, Yamada could never breach the infinitely stretched spatial distance surrounding him.
