Unlike the others, Emir smiled.
Talked easily.

"You must be the famous doctor," Emir said lightly.
Asli raised an eyebrow. "Famous?"
"I've heard a lot about you."
She glanced at Ferhat.
Big mistake.
His expression had gone completely still.
Cold.
Watching.
"I hope only good things," she replied.
Emir chuckled. "Depends who you ask."
Ferhat stepped in then, his voice sharp. "That's enough."
The room fell silent.
Emir smirked slightly—but stepped back.
Asli frowned.
Later, she confronted him.
"What was that?"
"What?"
"You were rude."
"I was clear."
"You were jealous."
The word slipped out before she could stop it.
Ferhat's eyes darkened.
"I don't get jealous."
"Right," she said, unconvinced.
But deep down…
She knew she wasn't wrong.
