I had no choice in the matter. How could I refuse when this was what my mate desired? Especially when Lyra began kissing me like that.
"Mmm, I'll help with that if you kiss me somewhere else," I said, unable to hide my grin.
Lyra's laughter rang out, playful and wicked. She loved my madness—I could see it in her eyes. "Where else do you want me to kiss you, my king?"
Those words made me clench my jaw. God, I wanted to take her right then, make her mine until she could only scream my name.
"I want you to kiss me here," I said, pointing to my neck. "Here, and then down here..."
Lyra bit her lip, but she nodded. Even without my promise to help with the omega situation, she wanted this. No pressure between us—just pure desire.
"I need you on your back then," Lyra said, pushing me until I fell backward. She hovered above me, confident and stunning.
