Chapter 236 - 236: Arrival of the Saiyans

"Orochimaru, you've done well."

Ryūjin Uchiha nodded with obvious satisfaction, giving Orochimaru rare praise.

"As long as Ryūjin-sama is pleased."

Orochimaru stuck out his tongue and licked his lips, his expression carrying the usual unsettling excitement.

"Keep working."

After a brief exchange, Ryūjin left the secret research facility.

Among all the inhabited worlds they had discovered so far, excluding those with lower power systems such as Detective Conan and JOJO, only the worlds of Bleach, Dragon Ball, and One-Punch Man were truly suitable for him.

The power levels of those three worlds were high enough to allow him to continue growing stronger.

However, he had yet to decide which one he would visit first.

According to the timeline, the two members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan would not descend upon the Ninja World for several more years, so there was no need to rush.

What Ryūjin had overlooked, however, was one important fact.

The world he had transmigrated into was not simply the Naruto world.

It was a fused universe made up of many different anime worlds.

Not long after Ryūjin returned to the Ninja World, a spherical object, or rather, a spacecraft, was flying through the vastness of space toward Earth.

It had already entered the atmosphere.

Yet the entire Ninja World, including Ryūjin himself, remained completely unaware.

Until two months later.

While shopping with Kurenai, Ryūjin suddenly paused and instinctively looked toward the sky.

"Ryūjin, what's wrong? Did you notice something?"

Kurenai immediately sensed the change in his expression.

"There are visitors coming from space. They're heading for Earth."

His tone was casual, but his eyes remained fixed upward.

"Is it the Ōtsutsuki Clan you mentioned before?"

Kurenai's expression tightened.

"Weren't they supposed to arrive years from now?"

Ryūjin shook his head.

"No. They're not Ōtsutsuki, but they're just as troublesome."

"They belong to another race called the Saiyans."

The moment he sensed the disturbance in the atmosphere, he had already spread out his Observation Haki, clearly seeing the spacecraft and the person inside.

He recognized it immediately.

The pod was identical to the Saiyan spacecraft from Dragon Ball, and the tail behind the figure inside removed any doubt.

"Saiyans? That's a strange name."

Kurenai frowned before asking,

"Are they really comparable to the Ōtsutsuki Clan?"

Ryūjin let out a faint smile.

"The upper limit of the Saiyan race is much higher than that of the Ōtsutsuki."

Saiyans could transform into Great Apes.

A select few could even awaken the power of Super Saiyan.

Once their potential was fully unleashed, destroying planets was nothing special.

Compared to that, the Ōtsutsuki Clan simply couldn't compete.

Even though Ryūjin had never met the Ōtsutsuki Patriarch, he knew enough about the clan.

Their potential was extremely limited.

Outside of consuming Chakra Fruits, they had almost no way to grow stronger.

Saiyans were different.

The more they fought, the stronger they became.

Surviving near death could multiply their power many times over.

There was simply no comparison.

Kurenai was stunned.

To her, the Ōtsutsuki were already gods.

The idea that another race could surpass even them completely shattered her understanding of the world.

Had anyone else said those words, she would never have believed them.

"Ryūjin, if you know this race, can you guess why they're coming here?"

She couldn't hide the concern in her voice.

"The Saiyans are an interstellar warrior race."

"They search the universe for suitable planets, exterminate the inhabitants, and then sell the worlds to others."

Ryūjin explained it as though he were talking about the weather.

Kurenai instinctively covered her mouth as a chill ran down her spine.

"You don't need to worry."

Ryūjin gently wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"The Saiyan heading for the Ninja World isn't someone I can't handle."

Although he didn't recognize the specific Saiyan, the information gathered through his Observation Haki gave him enough confidence.

Seeing his expression, Kurenai finally relaxed.

"Kurenai, wait here. I'll deal with him."

Ryūjin was about to leave and intercept the Saiyan in space.

Then he suddenly stopped.

Compared to killing the Saiyan before anyone noticed, there was a better option.

Without another word, he headed straight for Uchiha Fugaku.

"Contact the Kage of the four great villages immediately."

"Tell them to bring their top officials to the Land of Grass."

"My order."

Fugaku's expression immediately became serious.

"Ryūjin-sama, has something happened?"

"I've detected an alien race invading Earth."

"Judging by the direction and speed of the spacecraft, it'll land in the Land of Grass in about three days."

"It's time everyone learned the truth about this world."

That was the reason Ryūjin decided to let the Saiyan land.

He wanted the people of the Ninja World to witness the existence of terrifying races beyond the stars.

He wanted them to understand that, against those beings, ordinary ninja were nothing.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that many of them could attack with everything they had and still fail to scratch their enemy.

Once the entire Ninja World shared the same external threat, internal wars would naturally disappear.

That was only one reason.

The second was even more important.

So far, Ryūjin had only discovered a limited number of living worlds.

Countless unknown planets still existed.

The Ōtsutsuki and the Saiyans would never be the only dangers lurking among the stars.

One day, other races might arrive.

The Ninja World needed to prepare.

"An alien invasion..."

Cold sweat instantly covered Fugaku's forehead.

Over the past year, he had interacted with Kaguya many times.

Standing before her, he always felt as insignificant as an insect.

He also knew Ryūjin's greatest secret.

Ryūjin had become a member of Kaguya's clan.

Strictly speaking, he was an alien as well.

A being powerful enough to crush ordinary ninja with a single finger.

That was Fugaku's understanding of extraterrestrial races.

How could he remain calm after hearing such news?

"Ryūjin-sama, I'll make the arrangements immediately."

Without wasting another second, Fugaku ordered the communication team to contact the other four villages.

"What? An alien race is invading the Ninja World?"

"How is that even possible?"

Mei Terumī, Baki, Kitsuchi, and the other leaders were completely shocked.

The Moon Goddess, who now lived in Konoha, had descended from another world thousands of years ago.

Could this alien race be another existence like her?

No one could stay composed.

"Ao, gather the ANBU."

"We're leaving for the Land of Grass immediately."

Mei Terumī made her decision without hesitation.

The other villages reached the same conclusion.

The idea of an alien invasion sounded absurd.

But no one doubted Ryūjin.

With his current strength, if he wanted to destroy the four great villages, nobody could stop him.

He had no need to lie.

If Ryūjin said an alien race was coming, then one was definitely coming.

Neither Konoha nor the other villages concealed the news.

Within three days, it spread across the entire Ninja World.

"Did you hear? Aliens are invading!"

"Do things like that really exist?"

"Konoha announced it. It can't be fake."

"Ryūjin said they'll appear in the Land of Grass. Let's go see for ourselves."

During those three days, ninja from every corner of the world gathered there.

By the third day, the Land of Grass was packed with people as far as the eye could see.

At the center of the gathering stood Ryūjin Uchiha.

Around him were Mei Terumī, Baki, Kitsuchi, the senior officials of the five great villages, Mifune of the Land of Iron, and many of the Ninja World's most influential figures.

Every face was filled with tension.

"Ryūjin Uchiha, will an alien really descend?"

Mei Terumī asked the question everyone wanted answered.

"Relax."

Ryūjin kept his Observation Haki fixed on the approaching spacecraft.

"In about half an hour, you'll see it for yourselves."

The expressions of the gathered leaders changed.

Half an hour?

That was almost now.

"Everyone except those standing beside me, move back at least five hundred meters."

Ryūjin's voice echoed across the field.

In the Ninja World, Ryūjin's name was synonymous with terror.

He had nearly destroyed the four great villages by himself.

Who would dare disobey him?

The crowd instantly retreated, creating an enormous empty circle around him.

Within that space remained only Ryūjin, the leaders of the five great villages, Obito, Konan, Yahiko of the Akatsuki, Mifune, and several other key figures.

"An alien race?"

Obito looked up at the sky and snorted.

"I'd like to see what they're capable of."

Among everyone present, only Obito, with his transplanted Rinnegan, could vaguely sense the energy fluctuations descending from above.

The others saw nothing.

Then, twenty minutes later, a cry erupted from the crowd.

"Look!"

"There's really something in the sky!"

"An alien spacecraft!"

"It's here!"

Everyone stared upward.

The object looked nothing like anything the Ninja World could create.

Its technology was leagues beyond their understanding.

The alien invasion Ryūjin had spoken about was real.

Excitement, fear, and anticipation filled the crowd.

The spacecraft drew closer and closer.

Finally, it reached the skies above the Ninja World.

Boom!

Like a falling meteor, it slammed into the earth and blasted out a massive crater.

The hatch opened.

A towering man, built like solid steel, jumped out.

Every eye instantly locked onto him.

His clothing, appearance, and style were completely foreign.

He didn't resemble anyone from the Ninja World.

More importantly, a tail extended from behind him.

The moment he appeared, an overwhelming pressure spread across the battlefield.

Yet no one could sense even the slightest trace of chakra from him.

At that moment, everyone truly believed.

This was an alien.

"...Hm?"

The Saiyan looked around in surprise at the massive crowd waiting for him.

Then a grin slowly spread across his face.

The fact that this planet had discovered him before his arrival was enough to spark a little interest.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

He activated the scouter over his eye.

As he scanned the people around him, disappointment gradually appeared on his face.

Most of their power levels were only in the double digits.

Very few had even reached one hundred.

"So this planet is only at this level?"

Just then, a voice interrupted him.

"Who are you?"

"And why have you come to our planet?"

The Saiyan turned toward the speaker.

His eyes brightened slightly.

The group standing at the center wasn't weak.

Several of them had power levels exceeding one hundred.

Especially the man who had just spoken.

His reading had already surpassed three hundred.

That was actually quite interesting.
