The Shape of the World

This is where the story begins — on the ancient world of Aetherion.

Aetherion is a medieval‑fantasy planet shaped by magic, clans, gods, and forgotten eras, and its largest landmass is the island‑continent of Gosadee, where nearly every major civilization and conflict originates.

The novel follows Eiden, an immortal Elf of the Whitecrest Clan whose body does not age and whose life cannot be claimed by time, allowing him to walk through centuries, wars, and entire ages without ever succumbing to mortality.

His journey leads him from mortal life to Sagehood and ultimately to divinity, while four enemies tied to his forgotten past rise to challenge him.

Gosadee is divided into the Claimed Lands, the Unclaimed Lands, the Land of Gods, and the Abyssal Frontier, each forming a different layer of reality and shaping the world's structure.

Magic exists in many forms, including elemental arts, ancient arcane disciplines, Celestial power, divine authority, and the forbidden forces of Void, Shadow, and Black Arcane, with Invocations serving as ancient chants capable of altering fate and power itself.

The Great Sages act as legendary figures who guide and protect the world, while the clans of Aetherion, including the Whitecrest, Goldencrest, and Redcrest, form the backbone of civilization through their traditions, territories, and magical heritage.

The Council of Gods oversees the balance of existence from the Land of Gods, and the Three Gods stand as the highest authority among them, maintaining order across the planes.

Ancient threats and other sealed beings remain tied to Eiden's past, shaping the conflicts he must eventually face.

The cosmology of the story extends beyond Aetherion into a solar system containing over five billion planets, many of which hold civilizations ranging from one hundred to four hundred billion inhabitants, sometimes reaching into the trillions depending on planetary size.

Humanoid life dominates these worlds, though each planet possesses its own magic, culture, and ancient conflicts.

Beyond the solar system lies the Rift, a cosmic gateway that connects to every multiverse, dimension, timeline, and plane of existence, serving as the crossroads of all realities.

The themes of the novel revolve around power, identity, legacy, destiny, and the burden of strength, exploring what it means to rise, fall, and ascend beyond mortality.

A chronological timeline of wars, reincarnations, divine conflicts, and the rise of the Sages shapes the backbone of the world's history, supported by a glossary of spells, realms, titles, races, artifacts, and divine ranks that define the structure of the universe.
