The bright light faded, and Moon stepped out onto the Second Floor.
The moment his feet touched the ground, he felt very heavy. The gravity here was stronger. The air smelled like old metal and dried blood.
Moon looked around. He was standing in a massive, terrifying forest. But the trees did not have green leaves. The leaves were dark red, and the tree trunks were black as coal. The sky above was totally black, with no stars or moon.

Moon frowned. Administrator? The system had mentioned them before when he got his crazy cheat powers. Were the Administrators the people running this sick Game?
Before he could think about it, the shadows around him started to move.
Woooooo...
A creepy, cold wind blew through the red trees. Three floating monsters appeared from the darkness. They looked like ghosts wearing broken knight armor. They had no legs, just black smoke, and they held long, glowing blue swords.

Moon smiled under his mask. "Immune to physical attacks? Let's test that."
He used [Shadow Step] to instantly appear behind the first ghost. He swung his fist using the Savage Blow skill.
Whoosh!
His fist went straight through the ghost! It felt like punching cold air. The Wraith Knight turned around slowly and swung its glowing blue sword at Moon.
Moon dodged backward, but the blue sword barely touched his jacket. Instantly, he felt super cold, and a piece of his energy vanished.

Moon's eyes narrowed. He couldn't just punch these things, and his Flaming Fist might not be enough. He needed something better. He focused his eyes on the ghost's glowing blue sword.

Moon held his hand out. He imagined the cold, sharp energy of the ghost. Suddenly, a bright, red glowing blade of energy grew out of his empty hand! It was like a sword made of pure, angry laser light.
He didn't stop there. He wanted to make it stronger.
"Merge," Moon whispered. He mixed his new Spirit Blade with his Flaming Fist.

The red laser sword grew huge and curved at the top. It looked exactly like the weapon of the Grim Reaper, burning with intense, scary fire.
The three Wraith Knights hissed and charged at him together.
Moon spun the giant, burning scythe in his hands. He swung it in a massive circle.
SHIIIING!
The burning red blade cut cleanly through all three ghost knights at once. They didn't even have time to scream before they exploded into hundreds of glowing red particles.

Moon lowered the giant scythe. He felt incredible.
But then, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up.
He felt like someone was watching him. It wasn't a monster. It felt like a pair of cold, angry eyes looking down at him from the black sky.
A tiny blue screen popped up in front of him. It wasn't red like his cheat screens. It was blue, but the text was glitching.

Moon read the text, and his smile vanished. The Game Masters knew he was here. And they were sending something to kill him.
Moon rested his fiery scythe on his shoulder and looked up at the dark sky. "Cleaners? Let them come. I'm hungry for more Stats."
