Rapid City – Near Mount Rushmore

Grandpa Max and the team had stopped near a forest outside Rapid City, not too far from Mount Rushmore. They planned to camp there for a while before continuing their journey.
While Grandpa Max was busy making a list of supplies they might need for their next destination, Ben decided that the timing was finally right.
He approached Gwen and Keva and informed them that he was going to create some alien technology and armor for them. He would be returning later.
Gwen immediately became excited, looking at him eagerly, curious about what he was planning to make. Keva, on the other hand, seemed more interested in the alien technology itself.
"Wait a few minutes. I'll find a suitable place first. Since you two want to watch, I'll take you along as well. Anyway, looking at Grandpa Max, he'll probably take his sweet time finishing that list."
After saying that, Ben opened the Omnitrix and began scrolling through its available transformations. He continued until he found the alien he was looking for.
XLR8!
Once the holographic silhouette appeared, Ben gently tapped the Omnitrix and transformed.
Without wasting any time, he sped deep into the forest in search of a suitable, secluded location.
After searching for a while, he eventually discovered a rather large cave hidden deep within the forest.
Making sure there were no wild animals or anything else that could pose a problem, he ran around the cave at incredible speed, creating a small tornado that cleared away the dust, debris, and other unwanted things.
Once the place was clean, he began taking out all the alien technology he had acquired so far.
This included the various alien tech he had received through the System's rewards, the equipment and components he had collected throughout his journey, and even the Lymax spaceship.
One by one, he arranged everything in an organized manner, making sure the components were properly sorted so he could easily find whatever he needed later.
After giving the cave one final inspection and making sure everything was in order, he returned to bring Gwen and Keva.
The moment they entered the cave, both girls couldn't help but look around in surprise.
"Wow! That's a lot of alien technology! You've practically turned this place into a junkyard, Ben!"
Gwen stared at the strange mechanical components scattered around the cave. Some were glowing, others had unusual shapes, and a few looked like nothing she had ever seen before.
"Hmm, these are all the things I've collected so far. Anyway, let's start making something out of them."
Ben turned towards Gwen.
"Tell me if you need anything else. Apart from the armor and weapons I've already mentioned, is there anything specific you'd like me to add?"
Gwen thought about it for a moment before shaking her head.
"That's fine. You've already thought of everything. Just make it the way you described."
She couldn't help but feel that her cousin really was the best. He had already considered so many things all on his own.
Ben nodded before turning towards Keva.
"By the way, now that I think about it, do you need armor for yourself? After all, with your powers and everything, you don't really need it, do you?"
Keva placed a finger against her chin and thought about his question for a moment before nodding.
"Yeah, I don't think I really need armor for myself right now. Besides, you can create those for Gwen and the others. They need them more than I do. I'm actually more interested in seeing how you're going to make everything."
"Okay."
Ben nodded.
He then opened his inventory and took out the ten Android Robots he had received as a reward some time ago.

[Please note: For now, they are blank. However, they will continue to upgrade themselves with time and technology.]
[They will naturally take human form. Furthermore, each of them will possess their own soul. They aren't lifeless robots, so please be mindful of that fact.]
Ben looked at the ten androids standing before him with considerable excitement. He was particularly curious about how they would develop and upgrade themselves over time.
"Oh! So these are the Android Robots, huh?"
Gwen and Keva looked at the ten figures, examining them from head to toe.
At first glance, they looked remarkably similar to human women, but their mechanical appearance made it obvious that they weren't ordinary humans.
All ten had sleek, dark metallic bodies with smooth black plating and carefully constructed mechanical joints. Their faces were completely featureless, resembling polished metallic masks without eyes, noses, or mouths. Small circular components were present on the sides of their heads.
One of their most distinctive features was their hair. They had beautiful copper-brown metallic strands arranged in stylish braids, with some sections flowing naturally over their shoulders and down their backs. Despite being made of artificial materials, their hair looked surprisingly realistic.
Their hands were equally interesting, with individually articulated metallic fingers that allowed for precise movements.
However, what particularly stood out was the small insignia embedded in the centre of each android's forehead. It featured a dark circular core surrounded by a silver crescent and flame-like patterns, with four pointed extensions and subtle crimson-red accents.
The same insignia was also engraved in the centre of their palms.
It was the emblem of ECLIPSE. [A/N: Free advertisement! If you haven't already, check out my other Pokémon fanfic, where Ash builds his own organisation in the future, Team Eclipse/Eclipse Corporation. This is a little reference to that story. 😉 We are just in the beginning stage right now though 😝]
For now, all ten androids looked practically identical, sharing the same body structure, facial design, and hairstyle.
However, that would gradually change.
As Ben supplied them with different types of alien technology, armor, and equipment, they would continue upgrading themselves. Their appearances would initially remain largely identical, with their equipment being the primary difference.
Eventually, as they evolved further, they would develop artificial human skin, realistic facial features, and their own individual appearances and personalities.
But that was something for the future.
For now, Ben had ten advanced androids with plenty of room for improvement, and he was quite interested in seeing how far they could eventually develop.
While Ben was thinking about such things, Ciel's voice suddenly sounded inside his mind.
[Ben, for your understanding, allow me to simplify things.]
[The Androids' first four upgraded forms follow standard designs. All Androids belonging to the same level will look identical, sharing the same appearance, armour and equipment. Their upgrades will happen automatically, so you won't need to design or modify each unit individually.]
[Only from the fifth stage onwards will things become different, with individual appearances, specialised armour and unique weapon systems.]
[Their first four stages are divided into four distinct classes.]
Eclipse Android Hierarchy
Level 1 – Worker Class
The basic Androids, designed for everyday operations such as general labour, maintenance, transportation and household duties.
They can understand and follow simple instructions. Although they lack specialised weapons, they are perfectly capable of defending themselves and engaging in hand-to-hand combat.
All Worker Class Androids share the same basic appearance.
Level 2 – Guardian Class
Designed primarily for security, protection and regular combat operations.
Their appearance changes to blue-and-white armour with considerably improved defence. Their Eclipse emblem moves from their forehead to their chest, allowing them to generate and withdraw energy weapons, including blades deployed directly from their gauntlets.
Level 3 – Phantom Class
Specialised in stealth, reconnaissance, infiltration and assassination missions.
Their equipment includes energy shurikens, concealed short blades, mechanical ropes and miniature drones. Additional gadgets are integrated into their shoulders, forearms and gloves, making them extremely versatile operatives.
Level 4 – Eclipse Class
More advanced and dangerous combat Androids.
Designed to operate in practically any battlefield or environmental condition, they possess advanced weapon systems and exceptional combat capabilities. They can execute even the most complicated combat instructions with remarkable precision.
[In short, Ben, the hierarchy begins with ordinary workers, progresses into specialised security and intelligence divisions, and eventually produces an elite combat force.]
[As long as you provide them with sufficient armour, weapons and other necessary technological components, they will automatically absorb, process and utilise those resources to upgrade themselves.]
Ben nodded thoughtfully.
'Oh, that makes things considerably easier. I just need to provide them with enough resources, and they'll handle the rest.'
'Well, that's convenient!' Ben chuckled.
Ben transformed into Upgrade, his body turning into living green-and-black technology. He approached the pile of alien equipment and began absorbing different components, examining them one by one.
"Interesting... this one's a power regulator. And this... Hmm, an energy-conversion unit."
Gwen watched him for a moment before finally asking, "Do you actually know what all these things are?"
Upgrade turned his head towards her.
"Apparently, yes. Ever since I gained the ability to transform into Upgrade and Grey Matter, I've started understanding technology just by looking at it. It's almost like the knowledge was already there, waiting for me to access it."
His face glowed green for a moment before he returned to examining the equipment.
Gwen and Keva exchanged glances.
"Hmm, figures," they said almost simultaneously.
