Chapter 283: The White World Unfolds - Gu Yuena and Di Tian Arrive at the Door?

In the dark world, in the squares of major cities, Soul Masters looked at the sky, and the originally noisy discussions gradually subsided.

The shadows of Huo Yuhao and Ju Zi embracing in the scene slowly faded away, replaced by a familiar distortion and flowing light.

[In the scene depicting the sky.]

The somber, oppressive gray tones of the black world gradually faded, and white light once again covered the entire screen.

A line of white characters slowly appeared in the center of the sky:

[The black world scene has ended; the white world scene will now begin.]

In the plaza of the Dark World, the Soul Masters saw these words and burst into a cheer of relief.

"Finally, it's Bai Shijie's turn!" a Soul Master exclaimed, his tone full of relief. "Hei Yuhao really disgusted me. Kissing oranges and looking for fatherly love, Wang Dong'er and Wang Qiu'er's graves are about to be overgrown with weeds."

"Exactly," someone next to him chimed in. "The plot of the dark world is getting more and more frustrating. Huo Yuhao is completely beyond saving. The white world is much better; at least Bai Yuhao is still like a normal person."

"Hurry up and cut it, I want to see Bai Yuhao cultivate." Another Soul Master said, "It's better to see how he gets stronger step by step than to see Hei Yuhao being a scumbag."

"Alright, alright, stop arguing. The canopy has already started."

All eyes were once again focused on the sky.

[In the scene depicting the sky.]

The scene gradually comes into focus. The sun shines brightly, the waters of Poseidon Lake shimmer, and unnamed wildflowers bloom on the grassy shore. Shrek Academy, in its pristine white world, remains as tranquil and peaceful as ever, like a secluded paradise.

[By the Sea God Lake, Huo Yuhao sat cross-legged. His eyes were closed, and his body was surrounded by icy blue soul power fluctuations. The fluctuations were very steady, unhurried and calm, like the ebb and flow of the tide, rhythmic and gentle.]

Wang Dong'er sat not far from him, a book in her hand, occasionally glancing up at him with a smile. Sunlight shone on her, and her long, light blue hair swayed gently in the breeze.

After a while, Huo Yuhao opened his eyes, and the fluctuations of his soul power gradually subsided.

"Level 83," Huo Yuhao said softly, his tone calm and without much excitement, as if he were talking about something very ordinary.

Wang Dong'er put down her book, walked over and sat down beside him, smiling as she asked, "How are you feeling?"

"It's great," Huo Yuhao said. "My soul power flows smoothly without any obstacles. My teacher said my foundation is very solid, and the road ahead will only get easier."

"Of course," Wang Dong'er leaned on his shoulder. "You cultivate so diligently every day, it would be strange if you didn't improve."

Huo Yuhao smiled, put his arm around her shoulder, and said nothing.

The two sat by Poseidon Lake, watching the shimmering water and feeling the gentle breeze. The sun was warm, the atmosphere was peaceful, and they didn't need to think or do anything; just being there was perfect.

"Dong'er," Huo Yuhao suddenly spoke.

"Hmm?" Wang Dong'er looked up.

"Thank you," Huo Yuhao said. "Thank you for always being there for me."

Wang Dong'er paused for a moment, then smiled sweetly: "What nonsense are you talking about? If I don't keep you company, who will?"

Huo Yuhao smiled as well, tightening his grip on Huo Yuhao's arm.

The lake's surface shimmered as always; a gentle breeze stirred, carrying away a few petals. Two people leaned against each other, their shadows cast on the grass—a scene of quiet beauty.

In the plaza of the Dark World, the Soul Masters witnessed this scene, and their discussions arose once again.

"It has to be a peaceful world," a Soul Master sighed. "No conspiracies, no scheming, no scumbag behavior. Just cultivation, just companionship. That's what a normal life should be like."

"Yes," someone next to him chimed in. "Bai Yuhao and Bai Wangdong'er look so comfortable together. They support and encourage each other, unlike the Black World, where they're always crying and talking about life and death."

"And have you noticed?" another Soul Master said, "Bai Yuhao is already level 83. Huo Yuhao from the Black World is only a little over level 80 at this point in time, and he even nearly died trying to save Duke White Tiger. Bai Yuhao, on the other hand, just quietly cultivates and his level goes up."

"That's the difference," an older Soul Master shook his head. "A good environment and a good teacher are more important than anything else. Under Bai Xuanzi, Bai Yuhao doesn't have to worry about anything and can focus solely on cultivation. But Hei Yuhao? He's constantly entangled in all sorts of troubles; where does he find the time to cultivate?"

"Alright, that's enough. Let's look at the sky."

All eyes were once again focused on the sky.

[In the scene depicting the sky.]

The scene shifts from the shores of Poseidon Lake to the main gate of Shrek Academy.

The sun shone brightly, turning the stone steps in front of the gate white. Two cadet guards stood at the entrance, chatting idly.

Just then, several streaks of light appeared in the distant sky. These streaks of light moved at great speed, flying from the direction of the Star Dou Great Forest, heading straight for Shrek Academy.

The guards immediately became alert and gripped their weapons tightly.

The streaks of light landed, transforming into several figures.

Walking at the front was a woman. She appeared to be around twenty years old, with long, silvery-white hair that reached her waist, and deep, calm purple eyes. She wore a simple white dress, exuding a cool and aloof air, yet carrying an imposing presence that made people hesitant to look directly at her.

Behind her stood several equally distinguished individuals. The man at the head of the group had blond hair, and his golden, vertical pupils exuded a natural sense of oppression. He stood with his hands behind his back, expressionless, staring at the gates of Shrek Academy.

[It is indeed Emperor Tian.]

Standing beside him was Bi Ji, her long, emerald-green hair swaying in the breeze. She possessed a gentle demeanor, but a hint of worry lingered in her eyes. Also present were Xiong Jun, the Demon King, and the Crimson King, each exuding an extremely powerful aura; their mere presence made the surrounding air heavy.

The guards felt the oppressive aura emanating from them, their faces turning pale, but they still steeled themselves and stepped forward.

"Who...who are you? What brings you to Shrek Academy?" The guard's voice trembled.

The silver-haired woman, Gu Yuena, glanced at him but remained silent. Di Tian stepped forward and said coldly, "We're not here to cause trouble. Go and inform Xuanzi that Gu Yuena and Di Tian from the Star Dou Great Forest request an audience."

The guarding student paused for a moment, then nodded repeatedly, turned, and ran into the academy.

Gu Yuena stood still, looking up at the gates of Shrek Academy, a complex emotion flashing in her purple eyes.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Di Tian asked in a low voice.

"Yes," Gu Yuena nodded. "We have no other choice."

Di Tian remained silent for a moment, then said nothing more.

Biji stepped forward and said softly, "Xuanzi is a man of feeling. Given our relationship, he should help us."

"I hope so." The Demon King stroked his beard. "If he doesn't help, then Di Tian will be in trouble..."

"He will help," Gu Yuena interrupted him, her tone calm. "He is Xuanzi. He won't stand idly by."

The group remained silent, standing at the gates of Shrek Academy, waiting.
