Chapter 1 - 1 Moonlit Encounter

In the mystical city of Elyria, where moonbeams danced with shadows, I stumbled upon a mysterious invitation. It was written in elegant script on a silver card, with a faint scent of lavender that transported me to a field of blooming flowers. The words seemed to shimmer in the light: "Meet me at the Silver Glade at midnight. Come alone. - A."

My heart skipped a beat as I turned the card over, wondering who A could be. A friend playing a prick? A secret admirer? The possibilities swirled in my mind like the city's infamous fog, which rolled in from the sea and shrouded the streets in a damp, silver mist. I felt a thrill of excitement mixed with a dash of trepidation. What was I getting myself into?

As I arrived at the Silver Glade, the moon was high overhead, casting an ethereal glow on the dewy grass. The air was alive with the sweet scent of blooming wildflowers and the soft chirping of nocturnal creatures. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I scanned the glade, but there was no one in sight. The trees seemed to loom over me, their branches creaking softly in the breeze.

I checked my watch, wondering if I'd misread the time. But no, it was midnight. Maybe I'd been stood up? I felt a pang of disappointment, which surprised me. Why did I care so much?

Just as I was about to leave, a figure emerged from the shadows. Tall, with piercing blue eyes and hair as dark as the night sky, he seemed to materialize out of thin air. My breath caught in my throat as he approached me, his movements fluid and confident.

"You're late," he said, his voice low and smooth, with a hint of amusement that made me want to smile.

I felt a spark of annoyance, which I promptly suppressed. "I'm not late. You're early."

He chuckled, and the sound sent shivers down my spine. "Shall we begin our last first date?"

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Last first date? What does that mean?"

He smiled, his eyes cr crkling at the corners. "It means this is our first and last first date. No expectations, no pressure. Just a magical night."

I felt a flutter in my chest, but I tried to play it cool. "And what makes you think I'll agree?"

He leaned in, his voice whispering against my ear. "Because, Emilia, I think you're curious. And I think you want to see where this night takes us."
