GEORGIA'S POV
I tried to put distance between us, but he closed the gap in a heartbeat. He loomed over me like a shadow. I shoved at his chest, but his grip on my arm was like iron.
"We're finishing this conversation in my bedroom," he commanded. I wrenched my arm back with everything I had.
"Why? Is the air in here not good enough? Why does a secretary need to go to your bed to talk to her boss?" I snapped. That dangerous, predatory glint in his eyes only sharpened.
Before I could react, he surged forward, pinning me against the wall. I stumbled back so fast my head hit the plaster with a sickening thud. I gasped, the pain radiating through my skull as I reached up to cradle the back of my head.
"Why the bedroom? Do you really think you're in a position to question me?" he asked, his voice dripping with condescension.
