Chapter 156
GEORGIA POV.
When I woke up, Hanna was looking down at me with a bowl of porridge on a tray. Her eyes looked sad when they met mine, and I winced as I tried to sit up.
"Careful." She said, setting the tray on the floor so she could help me sit.
Then she picked it up and put it on my lap.
"I never thought I would see fear on Alpha Jaime's face." She said quietly, scooping up some porridge with a spoon.
I opened my mouth, which felt dry and cracked, and ate the porridge. It was warm, and that warmth made me feel a bit better.
"The moment he slammed you into the wall and saw the blood, he panicked. He actually looked like a normal person who cared about someone for once. He picked you up and called us to see if you were okay. Then he had us look after you while he walked around the room." She said, feeding me another spoonful.
"He is ruining his own life and can't go back now." I said, and Hanna touched my cheek.
