Chapter 201 - After the Storm

Part 2: After the Storm

Silence returned to the villa.

But it wasn't peaceful.

It was broken.

Shattered glass.

Destroyed furniture.

The smell of gunpowder still lingered.

And in the middle of it all—

Damian stood.

Still.

Cold.

Inside the Villa — Aftermath

Seraphina clung to him tightly.

Her small hands gripping his shirt.

"I was scared…"

She whispered.

Damian's expression softened instantly.

"I'm here."

His voice dropped.

Gentler now.

"No one will hurt you."

She nodded against his chest.

Trusting him completely.

Elara stood close.

Watching them.

Her eyes still held fear—

But also relief.

"You're hurt…"

She said softly.

Damian glanced down briefly.

A small cut.

Bruises forming.

"…It's nothing."

But she stepped closer anyway.

Her fingers gently brushing his arm.

"It's not nothing to me."

That made him pause.

Just for a second.

Then—

He pulled her closer.

With one arm—

While still holding Seraphina.

His family.

Safe.

For now.

Ethan & Amelia

Ethan stood a few steps away.

Watching everything.

Then he turned to Amelia.

"You see now?"

She nodded slowly.

"…This is my fault."

"No."

His voice was firm.

"This is his doing."

A pause.

"But we're finishing it."

She looked at him.

"…Together?"

He smirked slightly.

"Obviously."

A small smile touched her lips.

Even now—

He made it easier to breathe.

Lucas & Damian

Lucas stepped closer.

"We need to move."

Damian didn't respond immediately.

Still holding his family.

Then—

"I know."

His voice returned to normal.

Cold.

Controlled.

"He knows where we are."

Lucas continued.

"He'll come again."

A pause.

Damian's eyes darkened slightly.

"…Let him."

Lucas frowned slightly.

"You sure about that?"

Damian finally looked at him.

"Yes."

A step forward.

"This time—"

His voice dropped.

"…we don't wait."

The Decision

Everyone gathered.

Tension still in the air.

Damian looked at them all.

Ethan.

Lucas.

Amelia.

Then—

"Elara."

She met his gaze instantly.

"…We end this."

No hesitation.

No fear.

Just truth.

"How?"

Ethan asked.

Damian's eyes darkened.

"We draw him out."

Silence.

Lucas crossed his arms.

"And how exactly do you plan to do that?"

A pause.

Damian's gaze shifted—

To Amelia.

"…We give him what he wants."

Everything went still.

Amelia's breath caught.

"…Me?"

Damian didn't look away.

"Yes."

Ethan stepped forward instantly.

"No."

His voice was sharp.

"She's not bait."

Damian's gaze shifted to him.

Cold.

"She's the key."

Silence.

Tension rose instantly.

Ethan's jaw tightened.

"I won't let you use her like that."

"And I won't let him come into my house again."

That hit harder.

A pause.

Then—

Amelia spoke.

"…I'll do it."

Both men turned to her instantly.

"No."

Ethan said immediately.

"Yes."

Her voice was calm.

But firm.

"…This started because of me."

"And it ends because of me."

Ethan shook his head.

"That's not how this works."

She stepped closer.

"…It is now."

Their eyes locked.

Emotion.

Fear.

Something deeper.

"…Trust me."

She whispered.

That broke his resistance.

Just slightly.

"…I don't like this."

"I know."

A pause.

"But we don't have a choice."

Final Scene — The Trap Is Set

Night fell again.

The villa lights dimmed.

Plans were already in motion.

Positions set.

Weapons ready.

Everything prepared.

Because now—

They weren't running anymore.

They were waiting.

For him.

Damian stood by the window once more.

Eyes fixed on the darkness outside.

"…Come."

Because this time—

He wouldn't let Azrel escape.

Not again.

To be continued…
