Synopsis
Chen Yuxi thought she was just another ordinary employee at GuoTech, invisible in a world of billionaires and power games. But everything changed the day Lin Guo, the enigmatic CEO, discovered he could read her thoughts. Suddenly, every fleeting frustration, every secret fear, every private desire she had ever thought was hers alone… was exposed. He was cold, ruthless, and untouchable—yet curiously fascinated by her honesty, her chaos, and the sparks she ignited in him. For Chen Yuxi, survival meant keeping her wits and heart intact, even as Lin Guo’s mindreading pulled her into a dangerous, intoxicating game of power, secrets, and irresistible desire. But the deeper she fell, the harder it became to hide her feelings… and the more she realized that the man who could hear her thoughts might also be the only one who could understand her heart.

Chapter 1 - Thoughts I can't hide

Chen Yuxi had always been careful. Careful with her words, careful with her thoughts, careful not to stand out at GuoTech, the company where billionaires and heirs played power games as if life were a chessboard.

She thought she was invisible.

She was wrong.

"Thinking about quitting?"

Her coffee froze halfway to her lips. The voice—cold, precise, utterly commanding—belonged to Lin Guo, the CEO. The man who never smiled, who never lost, and who could probably crush her career with a single glance.

"I—I didn't say anything!" she stammered, eyes wide, heat crawling up her neck.

He smirked. "No need. I can hear it anyway."

Her thoughts—every fleeting frustration, every private complaint, every secret fear—he could hear them.

Impossible… she thought.

"You… what are you?" Her voice shook.

"Someone who knows exactly what you're thinking," he said, calm as a winter morning. "And I think… you're more interesting than I expected."

Panic collided with curiosity. She wanted to run, to hide, to erase every thought she'd ever had—but he seemed to anticipate every move. Every blush, every hesitation, every instinct.

"You're insane," she whispered.

"Perhaps. Or perhaps I'm just… honest," he replied, eyes darkening slightly. A subtle heat flickered there, dangerous and magnetic.

For a moment, she froze, caught in the storm of his gaze and the unrelenting knowledge that nothing she thought could be hidden from him.

And then… he smiled. Just a hint, just enough to make her heart skip.

Chen Yuxi knew one thing clearly: this man was dangerous. And somehow, irresistibly alive.
