Poliwrath let out a muffled groan, its body flying backward uncontrollably and smashing heavily into the railing at the edge of the deck, which instantly twisted and deformed.
It struggled to get up, its chest heaving, clearly having suffered significant injuries.
Ariel's gaze locked onto the sea surface.
Sharpedo tumbled several times underwater and quickly rushed out again, the fierce light in its eyes growing even more intense.
It was injured, but anger made it even more frenzied.
"Hydro Pump!"
Ariel gave the order once more.

Ariel murmured to himself. Seeing the overwhelming power Mega Gyarados displayed in battle, his face didn't relax at all; instead, he became more focused.
He knew that Gym Leader Level Pokémon, especially two of them, were by no means ordinary.
Although they were currently at a disadvantage, once they found an opportunity, the power of their counterattack would not be underestimated.
Sharpedo leaped out of the sea again, and this time, it changed its strategy.
It no longer faced its opponent head-on, but instead swam around Mega Gyarados at high speed, trying to find an opening.
Its speed was extremely fast, like lightning in the seawater, leaving only afterimages behind.
"Don't let it get away!"
Ariel's voice wasn't loud, but it was clearly conveyed to Mega Gyarados.

Sharpedo's target this time was Mega Gyarados's back; it tried to jump onto Mega Gyarados and use its sharp teeth to Bite.
Meanwhile, Poliwrath swung its Dynamic Punch again from another direction, aiming straight for Mega Gyarados's head.
"Ice Fang!"
Ariel's voice carried a hint of coldness.
Inside Mega Gyarados's mouth, two massive fangs were instantly covered in ice, shimmering with an eerie blue light.
It twisted its body suddenly, dodging Sharpedo's pounce, while using those frost-covered fangs to Bite down hard on Poliwrath's fist.

The collision between Ice Fang and Dynamic Punch produced a crisp sound.
The ice on Poliwrath's fist shattered instantly, and it let out a pained growl. Its arm was numbed by the immense force, and traces of frost could even be seen spreading across its arm.
As for Sharpedo, before it could adjust its posture after missing its pounce, Mega Gyarados's tail followed like a shadow, slamming hard into its flank once more.
"Awoo!"
Sharpedo let out a tragic cry, its body being knocked high into the air before falling heavily onto the deck with a dull thud.
Its body slid across the deck for a distance, only stopping when it hit the ship's side.
Ariel looked at the Sharpedo lying on the deck, struggling to stand up, a cold light flashing in his eyes. He knew it was time to end this battle.
"Gyarados, Crunch!"
Mega Gyarados let out a deafening roar, its entire body emitting a burst of violent energy.
It charged fiercely at the fallen Sharpedo, its massive body carrying unparalleled impact.
Sharpedo struggled to its feet, knowing it had nowhere to retreat.
It let out a desperate roar and opened its bloody maw, attempting a final counterattack—Crunch!
However, before a Mega Gyarados strengthened by Dragon Dance, its counterattack seemed utterly pale and weak.
Mega Gyarados's speed was astonishingly fast; it avoided Sharpedo's deathbed struggle, and then its massive head lunged downward, its wide-open bloody maw biting down hard on Sharpedo's body with an unstoppable force!
*Crunch!*
A tooth-gritting loud noise exploded on the deck.
In Mega Gyarados's massive jaws, Sharpedo's body was like a fragile bone being crushed by two millstones.

As the sea breeze blew, the smell of blood became even more pungent amidst the saltiness.
On the deck, only the mangled corpse of Sharpedo remained, along with Mega Gyarados's blood-red eyes emitting a bloodthirsty, fierce light.
Poliwrath stared blankly at the scene; its eyes, once full of rage, were now filled only with despair.
Its companion, the Sharpedo that had fought side-by-side with it, had been torn in two alive just like that.
Before it could even feel sorrow, it was enveloped by a bone-deep fear.
Mega Gyarados turned its head, its blood-red eyes locking onto Poliwrath, the only one still standing on the deck.
Poliwrath's body trembled involuntarily.
It knew that its own end was also coming.
