Chapter 85 - Arrival In Garegror

I grip the steering wheel a little tighter as we approach the park entrance. The massive archway ahead looks more like a fortified toll gate than the entrance to a transportation hub. Uniformed guards scan every vehicle with sharp, watchful eyes. I slow the car to a stop beside the booth and hand over a few bronze coins. The guard nods once, pockets the payment, and waves us through without a word. Excitement courses through me, making my heart beat just a little faster.
