PS: KYAP ( KEIFER, YURI, ARIES AND PERCY ) ARE FRIENDS IN MY BOOK BUT JAY DOESN'T KNOW THAT PERCY IS HER STEP-BROTHER AND ARIES IS HER BROTHER.
Keifer's POV:
When I reached home, the first things I saw was that all the maids running across Keigan's room.
Confused, I went to one of the maids.
"What happened? Why is everyone panicking?" I asked calmly.
"S-sir... Young master has locked himself in his room a-again... And he hasn't had his l-lunch yet too...." The maid said, keeping her head down infront of me.
Why did Keigan lock himself again..? I know he does that often but it still scares me because end of the day, he is still my young, baby brother who I care about and want to know what he is going through.
"J-just keep the food infront of his door and then knock on his door to let him know..."
I said
"O-okay, Sir..." She said
"By the way, tell both boys that I'm going outside for some time.." I Said and she nodded before bowing infront of me respectfully
I got changed and just wore something casual and headed toward the cafe near our place. It didn't had alot of customers but, I saw something unexpected...
Jay-jay...
Getting dragged by a tattoed man and behind them more men who seemed like thugs.
Something inside me snapped and I immediately went inside beside Jay..
"Let. Her. Go" I said in the most cold tone. While trying to keep myself from punching the guy.
Jay's head snapped toward me and her eyes widened seeing me standing right beside her.
"K-keifer..." She said.
"It's okay, I'll handle them.." I said
"What is she to you huh? Why do you care?"
The man who was still gripping her arm said.
"I told you to leave her..." I said
"Or what? What is she to do, huh. What is it to you?" He said.
I grabbed his wrist and said....
"She's my WIFE..." I said while yanking his wrist away from hers.
I immediately wrapped a arm around her waist.
The moment those words left my mouth, Jay looked at me with pure shock in her eyes.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!" She whispered.
I just shrugged and looked at the guy again.
"Leave her alone, she's with me." I said
I immediately grabbed her hand gently and took her to her table.
"So...what happened..?" I asked
"Uh...n-nothing I was just sitting when he suddenly came and started creepily talking to me. T-thank you for...helping me.." she said.
I felt a weird type of warmth spreading in my chest like wildfire.
"It's fine. I didn't like the fact that how he was dragging you.." I said
"Did u eat something?" I asked.
"I did order something but because of the dragging it all spilled on the floor." She said
"Let me order something for you then. I'll pay-" I said but she immediately cut me off.
"No!! I'm going to the park near anyways. And I'm full too!" She said
"I'll come with you too then." I said and she raised a eyebrow.
"I think you will get bored." She said
"You are underestimating me, Jay. Yes, I don't like alot of things but that doesn't mean I hate everything." I said
"Oh- okay. Let's go." She said and started walking.
I followed her. The park was just infront of the cafe so a walk was enough to go there.
After going there, we sat down on a bench.
"So, what made you come at the cafe?" I asked.
"Uh.. it's actually... someone broke into the house.." she said
"What?! How are you okay. Is everyone okay at home?" I asked
"Everyone was fine but, alot of armoured cars were outside and many people were there too. Tita said someone broke into Aries' room but, he didn't reach home yet so, he wasn't hurt." She said
Broke into Aries' room? And armoured cars outside their house?
Somethings wrong...
"So, that's why you came at the cafe. To escape the situation?" I said.
"I wasn't escaping! I wasn't just comfortable with alot of unknown people in the house. Let's go to the swing!" She said pointing to the nearest swing.
I nodded and stood up. Suddenly, some kids came running and, bumped into Jay. Because of the force, Jay stumbled and held me for support. But, because of the sudden accident, I fell on the bench and....
Jay tripped and fell on my lap....
Her eyes widened and she immediately stood up. Her cheeks so red, I mistook it for a tomato.
"W-watch where you are going, kids!" She said and started running toward the swing.
"Jay, slow down! Or you will fall, and I'm not a nurse who is going to revive you." I said and she frowned but didn't say anything.
She enjoyed the swing when suddenly, heavy rain occurred.
"OH MY GOD! I GOTTA GO HOME BEFORE MY BIKE IS DRENCHED!" she said
"Jay! Don't go with bike, you might catch a cold. J-just...keep your bike in my car and.. I'll drop you home.." I said.
"What! No! I can still go.." she said
"Don't fuss. I said what I said." I said and she rolled her eyes.
I putted her bike in my car's backseat. She and I sat in front. I drove to her place when I saw that the road was too flooded to drive there.
"Jay... Your road is flooded..." I said
"WHAT! HOW WILL I GO HOME?!" She said, more like yelled.
"Come with me to my house, I'll take you to school and from their you can go home after school." I suggested and she looked at me, frowning.
"ARE YOU INSANE?" She said
"Well, there is no choice so." I said, reversing to go home.
Jay-jay at my house..? Let's see what happens...
