Gopal Bhar was famous throughout the kingdom of Krishnanagar for his intelligence and sense of humor. King Krishnachandra trusted him greatly, but many courtiers were jealous of Gopal because of his cleverness and the king's affection for him.
One day, a few jealous courtiers decided to trick Gopal and make him look foolish in front of the king.
They went to the king and said, "Your Majesty, we have heard that in a faraway village there is a magical mango tree. It grows the sweetest mangoes in just one night! If Gopal is truly as clever as he claims, he should bring one of those mangoes for you."
The king, amused and curious, called Gopal and said,
"Gopal, I want you to bring me a mango from this magical tree. You have seven days."
Gopal understood immediately that this was a trick. But instead of refusing, he smiled and said,
"As you आदेश, Your Majesty. I will bring the mango."
