"All troops, charge!"
Aeldara's command, sharp as a frozen blade, instantly shattered the deathly silence at the edge of the battlefield.
The moment her order fell, the ghostly flames within the skull of her Skeletal Warhorse erupted in a silent, soul-piercing roar.
Pale flames ignited around its hooves, and the steed transformed into a black arrow loosed from a bowstring, tearing through the Undead Army's flank as the vanguard.
Over a hundred Silent Watch Knights followed in perfect unison, moving as a single entity.
Their charge was devoid of thunderous battle cries, only the relentless clack-clack of Skeletal Warhorses' iron hooves crushing the scorched earth like a torrential downpour.
This sound coalesced into a deathly tide, heralding the beginning of the reaping.
Ice-blue runes flickered to life across their obsidian armor, radiating bone-chilling cold that froze even the fetid air into gray crystals.
Behind the Knight Order, Elven Rangers' eyes burned like torches, while Mages maintained unwavering focus.
Lin Qingyue and her three companions, mingled among the infantry ranks, were swept up by this unstoppable momentum, their hearts pounding uncontrollably.
"Good heavens... Commander Aeldara's Knight Order... they're just too cool!"
Lin Xiyue's eyes sparkled with excitement. She tightened her grip on her shield, feeling her blood nearly boiling.
"Sis! Look at them charging! This is what a knight should look like!"
They're undeniably impressive. Compared to this, your plate armor looks like a tin can—no comparison.
Lin Qingyue mentally agreed, but her words to her younger sister were merciless.
"Alright, enough daydreaming. Stay close and don't fall behind or you'll end up as cannon fodder."
The Undead Army reacted with astonishing speed.
The sea of grayish-white bones immediately parted, surging toward Aeldara's cavalry like a breached dam.
Leading the charge were Skeleton Soldiers armed with bone spears and rusted swords, their hollow eye sockets blazing with the frenzied glow of Soul Fire fueled by bloodlust.
Yet against the Silent Watch Knight Order, these cannon fodder proved as fragile as paper.
Aeldara rode at the vanguard, her Runic Demon Sword remaining sheathed.
Her Skeletal Warhorse charged straight into the Sea of Skeletons.
With each earth-shattering stomp of its burning, ethereal-flame-wreathed hooves, the skeletal steed crushed countless skeletons into splattered bone fragments.
The Knight Order surged forward like a bolt of black lightning, precisely cleaving through the Undead formation's heart.
"Target: the Mage formation at the rear!"
Aeldara's voice rang out again, pinpointing the battlefield's critical point: "Don't get bogged down with these cannon fodder!"
The knights executed her orders flawlessly.
Ignoring the skeletons and ghouls surging from all directions, they maintained their astonishing charge speed, driving straight toward the Undead Army's rear lines.
There, dozens of Necromancers chanted, emerald-green auras radiating from beneath their feet, drawing fallen skeletons back to their feet.
"Sis, what do we do?" Lin Xiyue asked urgently, her shield smashing aside an incoming bone arrow.
"Keep up! The Commander and the others are going for the Decapitation Strike. We'll cover their retreat, clear out the pursuers, and make sure they don't get surrounded!"
Lin Qingyue instantly assessed the situation.
Aeldara's tactic was a classic cavalry Decapitation Strike: swift, precise, and ruthless!
But this strategy carried immense risk. If the knights were slowed down and encircled, even the most elite cavalry would inevitably be worn down and destroyed.
The Elven infantry accompanying the Knight Order had already engaged the undead's flanks.
Elven Rangers drew their longbows, moonlight-infused arrows silently slicing through the night sky like falling stars, extinguishing Soul Fires with pinpoint accuracy.
Meanwhile, Elven Mages chanted ancient spells, conjuring walls of fire and ice shards to carve paths through the undead horde.
"Xia Lian, scout the left flank! Su Wan, watch the right—use Ice Walls to stall them!"
Lin Qingyue issued orders swiftly, her gaze sweeping across the battlefield.
Ahead, Aeldara's Knight Order had already plunged deep into the undead heartland.
Behind and to their flanks, a vast sea of Skeleton Soldiers and Ghouls surged relentlessly, seeking to sever the infantry's connection with the cavalry and utterly devour the audacious strike force.
"There are too many of them!" Xia Lian's figure blurred as her Dark Night Starwhisper shortbow trembled repeatedly in her hand.
Each arrow flew silently, erupting into a small cluster of brilliant starlight only the moment it pierced a Skeleton's eye socket.
"Ice Barrier!"
Su Wan slammed her staff into the ground, and thick walls of ice erupted from the earth, temporarily halting the undead's advance on the right flank.
But under the relentless onslaught of the Sea of Skeletons, the ice walls groaned and cracked, visibly fracturing into countless fissures.
"Xiyue, hold the front! Buy me time!" Lin Qingyue shouted.
"Leave it to me, Sis!" Lin Xiyue roared, slamming her Immovable Mountain warhammer heavily into the ground.
Holy Light erupted from beneath her feet as her new Libram, Mountain's Resilience, activated.
An invisible force field enveloped her, making her feel firmly rooted to the earth beneath her feet.
Several Ghouls leaped high, their jet-black claws slashing toward her face.
"Get lost!"
Without flinching, Lin Xiyue executed a sweeping strike with her heavy shield.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The dull thuds of impact exploded in succession.
In the past, such force would have numbed her arm and forced her back half a step.
But now, when the savage power crashed against her shield, most of it was absorbed and deflected by the invisible Tenacity Field. The remaining force barely registered as a tickle.
The Ghouls, however, were sent hurtling backward by the massive recoil, their bones shattering. They crashed into the sea of skeletons behind them, toppling countless undead warriors.
"So tough!" Even Lin Xiyue was stunned, feeling the slight tremor in her arm. She exclaimed in delight, "This is incredible!"
Seizing the opportunity created by her sister's diversion, Lin Qingyue decided to stop slacking and raised her pink staff high.
"Qingyue?" Su Wan sensed the familiar yet unsettling surge of Magic Power and glanced back.
Lin Xiyue also recognized her sister's signature casting stance. Her eyes lit up with frightening intensity as she shouted excitedly, "Sis! Are you about to unleash the big one?!"
Lin Qingyue ignored her sister, closed her eyes, and focused her spiritual energy with unwavering intensity.
Once again, she channeled the unique and overwhelming Power of Holy Light within her body toward her favorite large-scale Healing Divine Spell—Halo.
The crystal at the top of her staff began to gather a soft, pink glow.
"O Holy Light," Lin Qingyue's voice rang out, ethereal and solemn, cutting through the chaos of the battlefield. "Hear my prayer. These lost souls yearn for the utmost compassion, for the deepest peace."
"Amen!"
Lin Qingyue's eyes snapped open, and she swung her staff forward!
A pure and sacred wave of pink light, vast as the heavens, surged from her center, sweeping across the entire battlefield.
This light radiated an absurd yet absolute sense of holiness, instantly engulfing an area nearly a hundred meters in diameter.
The frontline Skeleton Soldiers and Ghouls froze the moment the light touched them.
Their bodies began to crackle and hiss, emitting black smoke. Under the pink glow, their hardened bones and rotting flesh disintegrated and melted away, leaving behind puddles of residue.
As the undead were purified in droves, a palm-sized, chibi unicorn phantom wearing a tiny crown popped into existence above Lin Qingyue's head with a "pop!"
[Passive Skill: Sunny Rainbow Little Ica activated!]
"Doo! Doo doo, doo!"
Over a hundred Little Ica phantoms reappeared, their cheerful cries echoing across the battlefield as they spun and charged at high speed, trailing dazzling, seven-colored miniature tornadoes in their wake.
It was a sweeping rainbow blitz.
Any undead that had miraculously survived the pink light surge were immediately sucked into these seemingly harmless rainbow cyclones.
Their bones were pulverized into dust by the kaleidoscopic radiance.
Their rotting flesh was purified into the Void by holy power.
Their soul flames sputtered and extinguished, leaving no time for even a final wail.
In an instant, the area within a hundred meters of Lin Qingyue and her team was completely cleared!
Only an unnaturally pristine ground remained, and the lingering, sweet-scented rainbow dust hanging in the air.
"All done! Time to pack up," Lin Qingyue said, clapping her hands with satisfaction.
[Ding! Using the same move a second time has become routine for your teammates. Elation Value +1.]
System, I feel like you're mocking me, but I have no proof.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the battlefield:
Aeldara led the Knight Order through the Undead Army like a precise surgical blade, slicing through to the Necromancer lines in the rear.
Dozens of Necromancers in tattered robes scrambled frantically, completely caught off guard by the Knight Order's speed.
"Traitor!" A High Necromancer standing on a raised platform shrieked shrilly as the Knight Order closed in.
He recognized Aeldara instantly, the Soul Fire in his eyes flaring with venomous hatred and terror.
Aeldara scoffed coldly, not even deigning to glance at him. Gripping her sword with one hand, she unleashed a sweeping strike toward the massed Necromancers below.
A sword qi, imbued with death and ice, swept across the battlefield.
Wherever it passed, the fragile Necromancers shattered into ice sculptures, which then crumbled into dust.
Sensing imminent danger, the High Necromancer crushed a black crystal.
A dense black fog enveloped him instantly. When it cleared, he had vanished, leaving only a venomous curse echoing through the air:
"Aeldara! You'll pay for this! Lord Mograss will never forgive you!"
"Nor will I forgive him."
Aeldara sheathed her sword and stood tall, her crimson eyes sweeping across the empty high platform. Her voice was ice-cold: "They certainly ran fast."
A Silent Watch Knight rode up beside her, staring in shock at the "purged land" behind them—a landscape cleansed by pink Holy Light and a swirling rainbow tornado. He stammered his report:
"Commander... the threat... the threat behind us... it eliminated itself."
Aeldara turned to look.
She caught Lin Qingyue blowing an imaginary speck of dust off the tip of her staff, wearing an innocent expression that seemed to say, "I'm just an unremarkable Priest."
The aloof Commander had anticipated this all along, not even raising an eyebrow.
Instead, she amplified her voice with magic and issued a new order to the Knight Order:
"Clear the remaining battlefield!"
