"Eiko-san, I'm really leaving Mitsuri in your hands."

In front of a fancy-looking mansion, a decent-looking middle-aged man scratched the back of his head, clearly embarrassed as he spoke to the plump woman in front of him.

Hiding behind the man was a timid-looking girl.

She kept her head down, too shy to speak or even look up at the matchmaker. She just stood there, ears perked, listening to every word.

The woman the man called "Auntie Eiko" forced a small, bitter smile at his request, but it vanished before he could notice.

She answered gently, "Don't worry. I've watched Mitsuri grow up since she was little. I'll find her a good husband. Leave it to me."

"After all, everyone knows I'm the best matchmaker in the whole area. Once I take a job, no girl around here stays single."

Most guys couldn't handle the thought of marrying a woman who was physically stronger than them. For some, it was worse than death.

Eiko was still trying to figure out how the hell she was going to solve this when she suddenly spotted a guy standing nearby.

Black hair, black eyes, wearing clothes so fine she'd never seen anything like them.

His whole vibe screamed confidence—like he didn't bow to anyone.

Most importantly, she had lived in this city for over forty years and had never seen or heard of this young man before.

Handsome. Clearly from a good family (she assumed). And—best of all—he was an
