[Spes body forms laying in a field. Spes is in the form of a man with short, wavy, black hair with blond colored ends along with his eyes being brown with a white slash going through the pupil of the right eye, his skin was beige. He is around one-hundred and ninety centimeters and is ninety kilograms. Spes is built fairly muscular but skinnier in certain places. He has a mark on his back that's transparent. You can see the blood flowing in his body and the muscles in his back working.] I can feel. It feels cold. [Spes sits up and looks at his body] I seem to be naked on the ground with nothing covering my bare body. The grass feels nice touching my skin while this feeling of life flows through my new body. [Spes looks around his surroundings] Animals are walking around me, they feed on shrubs and some hunt for game. [Spes holds his hand in front of his face] This sky is blinding me as the star circling this planet shines those bright rays down at me. It feels so different being. Alive. I am finally living. [Spes stands up and smacks the dirt and blades of grass off his skin.] These pesky pieces of earth seem to love my skin. [Spes laughs to himself like a child discovering something new in the world. It is strange to see an omnipotent and omniscient being act like an adventurer. Spes takes his first steps and walks around the field he formed in. He bends down and runs his fingers through the grass and picks a flower from their stem and plucks the petals away letting them get taken by the wind. Spes looks around again. He holds out his hands to look at them and he notices he's still bare] I should probably fix my nudity. I can not be caught walking around with my privates out. [Since Spes has seen the creations of Vita before, he knows the look of their clothing. Spes mimics this by turning parts of his skin into clothing. The clothing he chose was a slightly loose fitting. These clothes being a white long sleeve with a black t-shirt over the long sleeve. He then gives himself black pants with many pockets and with two straps on either side of his shirt that connect his pants to his short sleeve, he uses this instead of a belt for some odd reason. He makes a pair of beige steel toed boots and sadly he's finished. He didn't give himself underwear. The nasty bitch.] Alright yes, this feels much better than that nude form. [Spes starts walking forward.] I did not really know where I would end up but it seems to be a more pleasant place than not. I feel as if there were way worse places to be put, such as naked in the middle of a village or even in front of another Deity. That's all speculation though. I'm here now and nothing can really ruin this moment. [Since Spes couldn't shut up he jinxed himself. Spes then feels the presence of another Deity coming in.] It seems I have spoken too soon I think. [A shockwave blasts down right in front of Spes. Dirt, rock, wood, animals, and dust are blown away. As everything falls to the floor Fortuna stands in front of Spes.] "SPES LOOK AT YOU, FRIEND!" [Fortuna grabs Spes and hugs him. It's a sensual hug. It looks. Sexual and it's going way too long. Many seconds have passed. Alright now it's just awkward. [The hug stops. Finally, That was way too long] "Look at you Spes you look so new and fresh. I felt a presence I have never felt before and I knew it was you." [When do they start kissing? Anyways they begin to talk again. Fortuna starts to ask about how Spes is doing] "So Spes how are you?" I never knew Fortuna was this friendly. To be fair I have never stalked or made contact with another of my kind since The Stage of Thought. "I am doing good, Fortuna, I am just getting used to my body of course but I have only been something for a few minutes." [Fortuna walks past Spes slightly to look around] "Very nice planet you have here. You should claim it." "Claim it?" [Spes looks confused] "What do you mean, Claim it?" [Fortuna taps his chin] "Enslave it obviously. What are they going to do, stop you?" [Fortuna laughs and Spes looks strangely at Fortuna by the words and actions he seems to express] I don't really know what to say to him. Am I supposed to agree?
[Spes spends a few seconds on figuring out whether to agree or not] "I don't know if I really want to take over a planet. I mean I just formed myself" [Spes pauses to think longer] "I don't know why you would think the first thing I would do is conquer a planet when I created my corporeal form only ten minutes ago." [Fortuna again taps his chin acting like that makes you think harder] "It's just a suggestion not a command or anything. Do not get too twisted about the whole thing." I do not understand why he thinks I should conquer this planet or any planet for that reason. "I have no need to keep humans or other creatures trapped under me." [Spes gives a now confused expression] "Hey no need to be confused about the whole, so stop with the expression and just live a little. Or think a little at least. [Spes expression turns from confusion to serious. Not serious as in he's mad but serious that he wants to make a point.] "Live a little? I just started living. I have only lived a little." "I'm a business man, what can I say, I was just trying to sell you the idea, but It seems I failed and unlike most I know how to take a no. You win this round friend" For a Deity he is quite weird. I wonder if anyone else of my kind is like this? "You are strange Fortuna. I had never thought a Deity could be so human-like." [Fortuna looks at Spes with slight disgust] "Spes do not compare me to a human." [Fortuna points over to a mountain range.] Why don't we go to the village over those mountains? Let us go and see what we are working with, okay?" [Fortuna digs his feet into the ground and launches forward through, mountain causing the mountain to collapse in on itself. I don't know why he couldn't just go over it but whatever strokes your ego i guess] "Show off." [Exactly i don't know who he thinks he is] I hear a stinging noise in my head "What's that noise in my head?" I grab a rock and bash it into my own skull [Ow what the hell are you doing?] I slam the rock into my head causing my ears to ring and the noise then disappears. "Much better." After clearing my head of whatever noise was playing I followed behind Fortuna. I too dig my feet into the ground but I launch over the mountains instead of through it like Fortuna did. Once I land, Fortuna is waiting by a gate. There is a guard at the gate. "Let us by human. There is no need for you to intervene in our business" The guard stands his ground foolishly, shaking their head in defiance. "I am a Primordial Deity. I am Fortuna. Listen, follow, and learn, you insolent idiot!" Fortuna swats his hand at the tower the guard is in and it crumbles to the ground killing him under the rubble. Fortuna walks by the tower leaving me standing there with inquiry across my form. I am so confused by everything. I just don't understand anything at the moment and Fortuna did that for what? "Fortuna." "What Spes?" Fortuna turns around and i speak. "You killed him. Why?" "Because he would not move. He disobeyed the orders of a Deity Spes." disobeyed? I think he did deserve it then, maybe I should just do something similar to what Fortuna does then, since I am not as experienced. Those who disobey deserve to die. I also know Fortuna is the reason he is dead, not from force but from ability. I take my attention to the fallen tower with a sense of something. I don't know what i should feel but I feel mainly nothing except the semblance of something. Fortuna stared for a second "I think it is time for me to leave you be." He waves and then launches off the planet leaving me to myself and the screaming of villagers. I start to walk back to where I woke. The walk was short but the fauna and creatures are beautiful in their own way. Each and everyone of them. Vita must be beautiful herself. I remember she talked to me about her plans a lot and I have to admit Vita is a creative being. I'm impressed by the work all of my kind has done for the omniverse. It makes me wish I was a part of the original conception but I am here now and I am ready for whatever comes my direction. I do wonder how to live in this body. How do I be Spes?
As my walk came to an end I sat at the spot of my creation just to think of what's ahead of me now. Will I have to finish my duties of Conception or would I be cast out because I am not needed anymore? This is the only thing that worries my current form but I do not stress too much about it and after a short amount of time I was thinking of leaving the planet but I could still sense the presence of another Deity. This made me wait for whoever may be contemplating on meeting me. After just a few seconds Fortuna comes back down and hands me a list. "Genitor wants you to have this. He also wants to see you." Fortuna lunches off leaving me with the list. I open it and I see the names of all sixteen Primordial Deities with a few crossed off names. The crossed off names are Spes, Malum, Neutrale, and Genitor. I put the list into one of my many pockets, but I face the issue of not knowing where Genitor is. I have no clue where to start so I just launch off the planet in search for a clue of some sort. As I am gliding through the current universe I am in until I feel a presence of something, it is another Primordial Deity but the reading is all around me and not from a specific location so I find a planet to land on. The planet I land on is called Barbadon. It's a very segregated planet as both Humans and Grifits live on this planet. Humans are the cornerstone of the omniverse. They are the most common organism around other than fauna. Humans were sculpted to look like us Primordial Deities which is why they are found on almost every planet. Grifits are only found on this planet due to how rich it is in salt and fauna. The Grifits are slug-like creatures who have the bottom of a slug but an almost shark-like head with arms more like fins. Now slugs can't stand salt due to it drying them up but Grifits are not the size of a blade of grass so they instead feed on salt more than any other mineral. Grifits and Humans fight constantly over the salt but most of them don't mind each other even being in bars and clubs with each other without a problem. I walk into one of the clubs before looking and asking around the place. I find a human if he knows anything about Genitor but he seems to not recognize the name. I then realize I can not use his actual name because most creatures do not speak ancient tongue such as Primordial Latin, but he would probably know his localized name. The Creator. Once said the man seems to instantly recognize the name and seem fearful. He tells me that Genitor usually comes down to this planet. I thank him for the information and I leave the club then launch off the planet to look around before I am grabbed and thrown through the void into a room where I lay. "Up Spes." I hear footsteps walking away. I recognize the voice and there is no mistaking that he is Genitor. I stand up and look over where I heard the footsteps and I see him at a huge table with only fifteen seats. "You will get a seat once you complete what I want you to complete. I know Fortuna gave you my list. Twelve Deities need you to fix what your negligence caused. So you will serve, you will listen, and you will follow." He is mad. I can tell. "What do I do then?" "The list has everyone you must help. There is no order but Atomus said specifically he needs you first. Once you help him you can choose whoever you want to do next." Genitor hands me a writing utensil and then takes my list out of my pocket before making locations appear next to the names. "I forgot to do that the first time. Now you understand you are the selfish and irresponsible one for not joining your own kind on the biggest achievement we could ever have. You ruined it. You are making a plan that should have taken thirty seconds now take a total of over two-hundred and fifty million years. You should look down upon yourself for the amount of ignorance you have. Your selfishness disgust me. Now begone from my face unless you have any questions. If so, ask them then or leave." I do feel disappointed in myself for ruining everything but that's why I am here. To fix what wrongs I did.
"Questions now." "Do I have a time limit?" Genitor thinks before getting back to me "Get it done, that is it. Just don't take too long." I give him a nod of acknowledgment. "Okay my next question is why doesn't everyone need my help?" "Because some of our constructs don't run off emotions. Malum and Neutrale are always going to be the same whether organic emotions are in the picture. As for me I just created a frame that all the others can play around in so your help to me is just getting this done and over with so we can all be free of this long wait." It makes sense to want me to achieve these goals and help the others quickly but I feel as if taking my time would bring more quality to these changes but it is not like I have much room to argue or complain. "Okay I have one final question. When I'm done what do I do?" "Do whatever you so please as long as it does not affect any of the others or my aspirations and projects. The last thing you need to do is mess up everything again." I nod knowing that he is right. I just need to get it all done and mess with no one. I stand up and I go. I leave his domain and just as I am about to go to Atomus I decide to go back to Barbadon to see what life really is about. I land near a lake of salt. The surrounding area is very dry and no plant life can be seen. This planet has a lot of dead patches but a lot of lush and lavish organic structures too. A mixed bag kind of planet I should say. I eventually start to walk until I come across a village by the name of Ginji. Half the village is in the dead zone and the other half is in the lush organic area similar to a jungle. This village is very specist since the humans and Grifits here don't like each other at all. I decide I want to see around the wonderful world of conflict so I begin to travel across the village. I see Grifits and humans fighting and others arguing over little things. I start to notice how some of the Grifits are scared of me. Most likely because I appear to be a bigger human looking being. I walk into the more dead zone of the village and it's primarily Grifits. The dead zone is extremely dry and would be lifeless if Grifits and humans didn't live there. The ground around some houses have deep red spots. The spots are large and look like a puddle of red liquid soaked into the ground. It is most likely just some sort of red sand and soil and I continued on my way. As I walked deeper into the dead zone one Grifit stops me and interrogates me. I do not pay much attention to its advances so I walked past but it didn't seem to like that and it grabbed me. I did not want to hurt them so I grabbed their arm and moved it off but they grabbed me again. I get tired of them so I lightly smack it off. They hit the ground and stumbled a little before pulling a knife out and charging at me. It shouts and slams the knife down into my shoulder. Obviously the knife did not do anything and when they pulled it back the knife was bent from the contact it made with my skin. The Grifit looked horrified and started to run or in this case sliver away. humans aren't really welcomed on this side it seems so I go back to the lush part of the village where it's more diverse. Vines hang from the roofs and plants grow on the walls. The fauna isn't taking over but it's helping keep everything structured. Definitely a lot nicer looking than the dead zone. I notice how much culture is around and it's wonderful. I have never seen a Primordial Deity so lively before. It's very different to actually see something not serious. As I explore more I see some buildings and a place called "Boundless Tavern and Inn" I walked inside and saw many people congregating, many of different species of course. I go to the bartender. "Hello, I would like anything that tastes good." The bartender nods and grabs a few bottles, mixes the contents, and pours them into a glass before serving it to me. He introduces himself as Bound and he is the owner of the place. He tells me he tries to bridge peace with drinks. How noble of him.
I was left with my drink in hand as Bound went to serve others. He seemed nice but definitely not a man who would allow the foolish to run rampant. I liked that. He is a leader without rank but as I was drinking I heard him yelling. As I looked over I saw him with another human in his grip escorting him out of the tavern. Bound throws the man out of the bar and I hear more yelling. "You are not meant to be here Danity. I told you that you're not allowed in here until night time and I see you sneaking in trying to get a drink. You are unstable and you need to understand I don't want you walking out drunk while kids play on the streets. Last time that happened you pissed in front of a school. I'm doing this for your own health and safety. Come back later." Bound walks back inside and I stop him. "Hey what happened out there?" Bound looks at the door and speaks. "That was Danity. He's my brother. He's been having problems since the 'Opening' happened." "The 'Opening'?" Bound looks at me directly. "You haven't heard?" I shake my head. "You haven't felt it in your head?" "Sorry I'm not from here. I'm not human either." Bound looks suspicious. "Yeah right and I'm a Primordial Deity. Bullshit you're not human." "I am a Primordial Deity." Bound is now glaring at me. "Proof." I summon a glass with my ability. The glass is made of mind so it is an exact replica of a normal shot glass. I make it disappear and Bound has recoiled back. "Oh yeah I'm sorry. I didn't know sir." "I'm not going to hurt you Bound." Bound loosens. "Oh well. Thank you." I smile and stand up. "I will take my leave now. It was nice meeting you." I walk out and I hear Bound say bye from behind. Once I walk out I see him. Bound's brother. Danity on the ground laying in the middle of the sidewalk. "Sir are you okay?" "Shut up, I need a drink." Danity sits up. "My stupid brother is doing what's 'best for me'. That dick thinks he can just control my actions. If I want to piss on a grave when the sun is above my head I can. No one can control me." "Do you want to get off the street and talk?" Dainty gets up and looks at me. "Why would I want to talk to you? You look like one of those Primers." "Primers?" Danity stands up and pats my shoulder. "I won't fall for that buddy. That's what all Primers say." Dainty isn't even drunk. I have no idea what's wrong with him. "I'm not even human." Dainty chuckles. "What are you, a fox, a dog, maybe a cat?" He continues laughing. "I'm a Primordial Deity." Danity recoils back with disgust. "Eww i touched you." Danity starts wiping his hand on his shirt. "What are you doing?" Danity stops wiping. "I touched a Deity. A nasty ass Deity and I don't care if you kill me, because at least I'll die knowing I stood up to one of your kind." It was shocking how he spoke so confidently. "I'm not going to kill you. I was born today. I'm just trying to get a feel for existence." "Born today? You look so old though." "I meant my physical form. I am ageless." Danity stops making the face of disgust. "Oh. well. Sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I'm Danity." He extends his hand. "I am Spes." I take his hand and shake it before letting go. "I can take you to my home. We can talk more there." I agree and he takes me to the dead part of the village but the Grifits seem to actually like him. He waves to them and even exchanges a few words with some. Once we get into his home he sits on his bed and offers a chair. "Sit." I have a seat. "So tell me how to be Spes."
