So, all of our heroes sat down to listen to Merlin's plan to uncover and find the Book of the Dead before the Demons of Vladimir Kosovich found it first. They
soon reached the Church of Helios which was a giant institution. The Church was
gigantic and as a point of referenced dwarfed both the Vatican as well as the entire
city of Mecca. The entire building was like a city in of itself. They were greeted
immediately by a tall Elf with a medieval style cape similar to that worn by Narcis.
He was tall though at least 8 feet tall. Even taller than Ungar who was over 7 feet
tall himself. He introduced himself as Balthazar the leader of the Church of Helios.
Balthazar and Ungar we're old friends and he explained of the 3,000-year-old
history of the Church and the Order of the Sun the most holy order in the entire
church. The sun started to head down and all of the priests began to enter their quarters.
Everyone was turning in for the night, Balthazar would help us in locating
the Lost City of R'lyeh tomorrow as he could likely pin point its location in the
vast Church Library which contained over 50,000 books. Balthazar explained that
his Church worshipped the one true god the Sun God, Helios whom this Planet was
named after. Everyone went to bed and then in the middle of the night there was a
loud crashing sound. When Daniel woke up, he realized that the Priests were
running around in terror and were in complete panic. It was revealed to be under
attack by Demons. "You have to be joking I was trying to get some beauty sleep!"
said Tatu. "Excuse me Mr. Ungar sir we can't find Father Balthazar!" said one of
the Priests. "WHAT???!!!!" said Ungar. "We looked everywhere but we can't find
him anywhere! The last place we saw him was his chambers but the door is locked.
And no one has the key!" said the Priest. "Don't worry I'll find him." Said Ungar.
Ungar took off but as the Priest walked away. Tatu noticed something as the Priest
turned around there was a tail under his robes. "Wait none of the Priests I've seen
here before have tails. I wonder?" thought Tatu. Tatu grabbed the ropes of the
Priests and ripped it off it was a Reptilian creature that had used some kind of spell
to disguise his face it was Malum who was shaking in fear.
"Well, I guess it's time to die." Said Tatu. Tatu pummeled Malum with
incredible ease and when he was finished tossed him into the air by Malum's tail
and blasted him into a thousand pieces the fight didn't even last a minute before it was over and Malum was gone. "Hehehe.... I always enjoy a good Firework
show." Said Tatu. "Great job Lord Tatu!" said Luna. "Thank you, Luna. There's a
lot more of these monsters to take care of. Let's get started." Said Tatu and after
saying this Tatu and Luna headed off to where the battle was going on.
Meanwhile, Ungar reached Father Balthazar's chambers and used his magic
to incinerate the door. "Balthazar are you there?... Huh... There you are!!!
Balthazar what are you doing the Church is under attack." Said Ungar. "Can I try
to convince you of something Ungar?" said Balthazar. "Are you trying to convert
me to the Church again? I told you I don't want to convert to your faith! Now come
on this is serious your Church is under attack by Demons!" said Ungar. After
Ungar said this the door locked behind Ungar a giant magical seal had now
enclosed it. "WHAT???!!!!" said Ungar. "I've given up on the Church of Helios
and forsaken its God though I will say it took me much longer to become an
Apostate than I'm happy to admit." Said Balthazar. "What on Earth are you
talking about?" said Ungar. "It's simple I no longer worship the false God Helios
now I worship a new God." Said Balthazar. "But your Church teaches you to put
no god before Helios, who according to your Church is the one true god." Said
Ungar. "I no longer serve Helios... I now only serve Lord Nyarlathotep." Said
Balthazar. "You're kidding me?! You're betraying not only your Church but this
entire world. This has to be some kind of Nightmare; it can't possibly be real!" said Ungar.
"Is that so? Then why not try pinching yourself. Though I promise yourself
that you won't wake up. This is no dream Ungar this is reality." Said Balthazar.
"But why???!!!" said Ungar. "I have no need to explain myself to the dead." Said
Balthazar. Balthazar active a powerful spell that transformed them to a room that
was surrounded by stars and galaxies the room itself was the size of at least 10
football stadiums. "What is this place?!" said Ungar. "I transported us into a
realm beyond space and time. The only way to escape is by killing me which won't
be possible. And as soon as I seal you away forever, I will kill that Elf and bring
about 1,000 years of Darkness under the reign of my new Lord!!!" said Balthazar.
"Shut the hell up..." said Ungar. "..." said Balthazar. "I've heard enough of your
garbage it's time for me to shut that filthy mouth of yours." Said Ungar. "Go on
then, be my guest." Said Balthazar.
Ungar and Balthazar leaped into battle. With every punch it seemed as
though the entire universe shook and with every blow burst of energy exploded
from both of them. Ungar used his Eclipse Cannon and then his Big Bang or Super
Nova Ability and then Ungar leaped around the arena at lightning speed with
Balthazar's darting around trying to keep up with him. Until Balthazar thought he
found Ungar. "I SEE YOU!" said Balthazar. But as Balthazar was ready to punch
Ungar the wizard disappeared. "WHAT?!" said Balthazar. "Behind you." Said
Ungar. With a crashing blow Ungar knocked Balthazar into the side of the arena.
Balthazar slowly stood up and spit out a clump of blood. After this he through off
his cape. "Alright its time I get serious." Said Balthazar. "Way ahead of you." Said
Ungar. After this the two continued to battle and with every blow from the two the
entire stadium was capsizing around them. "How could you side with these
monsters Balthazar???!!!" yelled Ungar. "Monsters?! The only Monsters are the
Mortals who destroy the world with Pollution and War!" said Balthazar. The battle
began and it seemed to drone on for hours. Finally, in the midst of the battle
Balthazar transformed into a giant monster with horns and pointed ears. It had red
eyes without pupils and long fang like teeth. It had drool gushing from its mouth
and an arm that had been destroyed by Ungar the being just ripped it off and grew
back its limb like some kind of lizard. Balthazar had transformed into a demon.
"This has gone on now for long enough it's time to die wizard!" said Balthazar. He
tried to seal Ungar away and it seemed to work. But Ungar spilled the beans. "You
fool I've just learned I can't be sealed away by any being with a tainted heart by
my old friend, Merlin." Said Ungar. "NO THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!! YOU
SHOULD BE GONE!!!!!" said Balthazar. "YOU'RE MINE!!!" said Ungar. Ungar
shot a blast of dark energy at Balthazar and just like that he was gone no longer in
the world of the living the room and the room ceased to exist in that strange
alternate dimension that Balthazar had transported both of them too and now Ungar
was now back in the Church of Helios.
The fight continued meanwhile somewhere else Daniel and Oliver had
confronted a giant monster back at the Church of Helios. The being claimed to be
the current-leader of the Demons a creature that went by the name Vagros the
Shape-Shifter. The creature came in the form of an eyeball on the body of a strange
blob of flesh it simply stated that it had gathered all the information it needed and
left. Now all that was left was the rubble of the Church of Helios that the Demons
had left behind in their wake.
