Poseidon stood tall above the waves, his flowing golden hair billowing in
the sea breeze, his piercing blue eyes radiating divine authority. The ocean itself seemed
to bow before him, swirling at his feet in reverence. In one hand, he held his legendary
trident, its emerald-green prongs crackling with raw aquatic energy. The heroes halted in
midair, suspended above the shimmering expanse of the Crystal Sea. The entire ocean
reflected the cosmos above, a mirror of the heavens, glistening with unearthly beauty. Poseidon's voice boomed across the battlefield, resonating with the force of a crashing
tidal wave. "I am Poseidon, Guardian of the Seal of the Crystal Sea and the Revelation
that binds it. What right do you have to pass through my domain and seek its protection?"
Ungar stepped forward, gripping his massive axe. "We don't have time for formalities!
The Old God's corruption is spreading. If we don't secure this Seal, existence itself is at
risk!" Poseidon narrowed his gaze, his expression unshaken. "Many have come before
me, proclaiming their righteousness. The balance of the cosmos is not so easily shifted by
mortal urgency." He lifted his trident, its power causing the waves to spiral upward,
forming a great cresting tide behind him. "If you wish to claim the power of this Seal,
then prove you are worthy. Defeat me in combat."
Talus's grin widened. "Now that's more like it." Zaiyal groaned. "Why is
everything always a fight with you?" Talus cracked his knuckles, his golden aura igniting
like wildfire. "Because it's fun." Poseidon's gaze sharpened. "Then let the Trial of the
Guardian commence." The sea erupted.
The Trial of Poseidon:
In a flash of movement, Poseidon sliced through the air, hurling a colossal wave
toward the heroes. The tsunami surged forward, towering like a liquid mountain, its mass
gleaming with celestial energy. Talus roared, hurling a blazing golden sphere straight into
the wave. The impact sent shockwaves through the ocean, splitting the water apart, but
before Talus could react— Poseidon appeared behind him. BOOM! A crackling blast of
hydrokinetic force sent Talus hurtling across the sky, his body crashing through floating
islands of crystal. Zaiyal, moving like a shadow, darted toward Poseidon, her daggers
flashing as she aimed for his vitals. But before her blades could strike, the Guardian
twisted his trident, summoning a circular vortex of water that caught her mid-air,
spinning her into a crushing current. Ungar, undeterred, charged through the waves, his
celestial-forged axe glowing with divine power. With a mighty swing, he aimed for
Poseidon's head— But the Nymph Guardian lifted a single hand, stopping the attack with
his palm. Ungar's eyes widened. "Impossible..." With a mere flick of his wrist, Poseidon
sent Ungar flying backward, his massive frame skidding across the ocean's surface like a
skipping stone. Daniel hovered above the battlefield, his staff crackling with arcane sigils.
"If brute force won't work, let's see how he handles raw magic."
He unleashed a torrent of celestial fire, its heat distorting the air itself. But
Poseidon merely raised his trident, absorbing the attack into the ocean beneath him. The
fire dissipated into steam, vanishing as if it had never existed. Poseidon turned his gaze
toward Daniel.
"A fine attempt." Then, with a mere gesture, he sent a spiraling column of
water crashing into the mage, sending him tumbling into the sea. The Guardian stood
unfazed, his presence immovable, like the tide itself. "If this is all you have, then you are
unworthy." From the shattered remains of the floating island, golden light burst forth.
Talus rocketed back into the battle, his eyes burning with unyielding fury. His body
crackled with power, his hair flaring like a living flame. "Okay, that one actually hurt," he
admitted, rolling his shoulders. "But if you think that's all I've got, you're in for a
surprise." Poseidon smiled. "Then impress me, Warrior of Mozaku." Talus grinned
wickedly. "With pleasure." In an instant, he vanished—reappearing directly in front of
Poseidon. His fist collided with the Guardian's trident, sending shockwaves through the
battlefield. The very ocean beneath them parted for miles, revealing the abyssal depths
below. Talus pressed forward, unleashing a relentless barrage of attacks—punches, kicks,
energy blasts, a storm of pure aggression. Poseidon matched him blow for blow, the two
warriors moving at speeds beyond comprehension.
The sky itself tore apart, energy rippling in all directions. Poseidon spun his
trident, summoning whirlpools of raw elemental power, hurling them like razor-sharp
crescents of water. Talus dodged effortlessly, dancing through the onslaught before
countering with a devastating golden blast. For the first time, Poseidon was forced to
block. His eyes gleamed with approval. "Good. But not enough." Talus's grin widened.
"Then I'll just have to go all out." His body erupted with power, his golden aura surging
to an overwhelming intensity. Poseidon's eyes flickered with intrigue. "Show me." With a
mighty roar, Talus unleashed a cataclysmic attack, a beam of golden destruction, tearing
across the battlefield— And Poseidon... met it head-on. The entire Crystal Sea trembled
as light and water collided. As a group everyone had finally arrived on the scene to meet
the entirety of the heroes in battle. The Zaikat Rangers, Uvia, Scott Greer and
everyone else arrived. When they did Poseidon raised giant rocks from the ocean and the
different heroes leaped onto each rock as they were rising. Ungar, Zaiyal, Talus, the
Zaikat Rangers, Hermes who was quickly becoming the new leader of the group,
Sarai, Tatu, Uvia, Daniel-02, Daniel and everyone else: began to charge up their
individual energy charges. Everyone surrounded Poseidon on their rising boulders. But as
the rays converge all at once Poseidon bounced all of them back, this destroyed the
boulders, but everyone simply lunged towards Poseidon. The air crackled with power as
the heroes lunged at Poseidon, their attacks forming a synchronized storm of raw
energy. The moment their forces collided, the ocean erupted, sending waves miles into
the sky, while thunder and divine energy cracked through the heavens.
Poseidon stood at the eye of the storm. His trident spun with impossible speed,
forming a barrier of spiraling water and divine light that repelled the combined
assault. The shockwave alone sent everyone flying back, the broken boulders they stood
upon disintegrating into mist. But the heroes didn't stop. Talus gritted his teeth,
flipping mid-air, his golden aura igniting once more. He surged forward, twisting his
body in a spiraling kick aimed directly at Poseidon's head. The Sea Nymph Guardian
barely tilted his trident, deflecting the strike, but Talus used the momentum to launch a
flurry of golden-imbued punches. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Each strike sent massive
shockwaves across the sea, but Poseidon parried every hit with the grace of a true divine
warrior. Zaiyal struck next. She vanished into the mist of the ocean spray, reappearing
behind Poseidon with her daggers drawn, their edges crackling with lethal, dark-blue
energy. She aimed for the gaps in his defenses, moving like a shadow between ripples
in the air. Poseidon twisted, catching one of her wrists mid-swing, but before he could
counter— Ungar roared from above. The colossal warrior came crashing down like a
meteor, his celestial axe splitting the sky. Poseidon narrowed his eyes. With a sudden
burst of force, he released a tidal surge from beneath, blasting Ungar back into the
air. But before the warrior could be sent flying, Hermes appeared in a flash of golden
wings, catching him mid-air.
"We're not done yet." Hermes declared. She spun her divine staff that she
conjured, unleashing a barrage of celestial light spears, each one infused with divine
energy. They shot towards Poseidon like streaking comets. The Sea Guardian twirled
his trident, forming a rotating vortex of water that swallowed the spears, turning them
into harmless mist. But that's when Uvia, Tatu, and Scott Greer struck all at once.
Uvia, a wielder of gravity magic, snapped her fingers—Poseidon's movements suddenly
slowed, as if the weight of the ocean itself had doubled around him. Tatu, master of
seismic power, punched the very air, sending rippling shockwaves that shook the
battlefield, warping the very fabric of the Crystal Sea. Scott Greer, who was well known
across Planet Helios as a kinetic hero and therefore, a warrior of pure kinetic energy,
charged his fists with unstoppable momentum, delivering a devastating haymaker
straight into Poseidon's side. BOOM! For the first time, Poseidon staggered. The
heroes didn't hesitate. Daniel and Daniel-02 stood side by side, chanting in unison,
their voices weaving an ancient spell that summoned a great celestial seal above the
battlefield. The moment the sigil of binding was complete, they unleashed it, sending a
pillar of divine chains wrapping around Poseidon's arms and legs. Sarai followed up,
raising both hands. He summoned a field of electrified wind, a storm of pure,
concentrated energy that made the very sea tremble beneath their feet.
"NOW!" he
shouted. Talus saw his opening. He gathered everything—every ounce of energy in his body, his golden aura surging to new heights. The sky above turned black as golden
light exploded from his form. The heat from his energy sent waves boiling, the very air
humming with divine power. Poseidon, bound but unyielding, smirked.
"Impressive." Talus didn't hesitate. "This is where you fall." He shot forward, moving
faster than light, his fist surging with enough power to split the heavens. Poseidon
closed his eyes. Then, in one swift motion, he broke free from the celestial chains.
CRACK! The entire battlefield froze. Talus's eyes widened. His attack—stopped.
Poseidon caught his fist. The Guardian's eyes gleamed with divine brilliance, his voice
calm, powerful. "You all are strong. But you are not yet worthy." And with a flick of
his wrist, he sent Talus crashing into the sea below. Talus quickly rose from the water
ready for the fight, but then a voice cried stop!! The voice was from Sarai, "I figured it
out he wants to fight one-on-one, this trial is designed that we fight forever unless we
fight him one-on-one they're all like this."
Poseidon nodded, "Excellent, you figured it out." Sarai said confidently, "I'll
challenge you, it would be no trouble." Everyone else stood down standing on some
island. Talus was confused, "What a waste! This deadbate is going to ruin everything if
he thinks he's strong enough to take on this monster." Tatu smirked and chuckled. Talus
was in no mood, "What's so damn funny!!" Tatu: "Sarai has unlocked the great potential
of his lupine race, you haven't seen him in over 1,000 years, he's gotten to the next level,
throwing his pride to the wind." Ungar staggered: "You can't possibly mean, no way."
Sarai flew up to meet Poseidon. "Lets keep it simple, I'll fight you in base form first."
Poesdin nodded without further adieu, Sarai began the fight.
