Chapter 90 - Shiva Talus, Talus redeems his soul and Daniel’s ultimate sacrifice.

Talus and Daniel turned their heads toward the creature. Jawziyyah floated

up with several others like Ungar, Sarai, Narcis and Hermes. "Who is that?" said Sarai.

Hermes knew from her Prophetic aura, "that's the Nyxoth." Jawziyyah was shocked:

"You're right, but it's not even been one year let alone three." Ungar interjected: "That's

because when you went back in time much like the other Qayyim you entered an

alternate world. It's something I should have realized earlier. There's no excuse." While

they were all talking, a voice Enoch's became to boom in Talus's head. "Young Demon,

do you really want your battle with the elf to end now, I can make it a battle to the death,

it will force him to go out, I can give you 10X your current power level." Talus quietly

accepted. As this was happening Uvia had caught up with all of them, Talus began to

scream and hold his head. Uvia shouted "NO! TALUS DON'T LET THAT MONSTER

CONTROL YOU! Fight it!! You can't become his slave!! This happened to you with the

Caterpillar and someone else is doing it again!!" Talus continued to scream until

eventually he began to chuckle and a large red eye with a black pupil was there pulsating

in front of everyone. Talus announced: "Talus is no more. Introducing Shiva Talus! The

destroyed god!!" The group stood frozen in shock as Talus' form warped before their

eyes. His entire body seemed to ripple with dark energy, as if the very fabric of reality

was bending to his will. His once vibrant emerald eyes were now replaced by a massive,

pulsating red one, burning with a malevolent glow. The air around him crackled with

energy, the very atmosphere twisting in response to his transformation.

Shiva Talus— the Destroyer God. His voice no longer sounded like Talus. It was

deep, thunderous, and filled with an eerie resonance that seemed to reverberate within the

minds of everyone present. "Shiva Talus... the god who exists beyond death. The one

who has seen the end of all things." His laugh echoed, distorted and hollow. "Do you

really think you can stop me now?" Uvia's expression was one of pure terror. She stepped

forward, her hands trembling. "Talus! Fight it! This isn't you, I know it's not! This is just

another monster trying to control you. Please, you have to fight it!" But Talus didn't react

to her plea. Instead, his red eye blinked once, and with it came an overwhelming surge of

power. Waves of destructive energy rippled from his form, sending the others stumbling

back as the very ground beneath them cracked and buckled. His aura was unlike anything

they had ever felt before— crushing, infinite, and filled with a hunger that seemed to

swallow everything in its path. Ungar clenched his fists, feeling the strain of the power

surrounding them. "It's the influence of Enoch again! I should've known... the Nyxoth's presence isn't an accident.

This power—it's tied to the very core of what Talus has been

battling for eons." Sarai, still hovering with the others, narrowed her eyes. "If we don't

stop him now, he'll destroy everything... We need to act fast."

Narcis gripped his weapon, the weight of the situation bearing down on him. "But

how? He's not the Talus we know anymore. This... this thing is something else entirely."

As the group exchanged desperate words, Shiva Talus raised his hand high into the air.

The sky above darkened, clouds swirling like a storm about to break loose. The winds

howled in response, carrying with them the faint whispers of forgotten gods and lost

civilizations. "I will end it all," Shiva Talus intoned, the words sending chills down their

spines. "The world, the realms, your pitiful resistance... it will all burn. This is my truth."

Before they could react, his red eye flared, and the ground beneath their feet exploded

with violent force. Pillars of flame and shadow erupted from the earth, engulfing the

surrounding landscape in a blinding inferno. The creature known as the Nyxoth floated

high above them, its tendrils reaching out like the fingers of an ancient god, binding them

all with an invisible force.

"You can't fight destiny," Nyxoth intoned in a voice that seemed to echo across

dimensions. "Shiva Talus is the beginning of the end. Your efforts are futile." Talus—no,

Shiva Talus— laughed again, his voice deep and maddening. "Yes, they're right. You

cannot stop me. I am the culmination of everything you fear. Your world, your lives, they

mean nothing. I am the end, and I will burn everything to ashes." The group realized they

were running out of time. Enoch's influence had completely taken hold. Uvia's tears

welled up, but she steeled herself. "I won't let this happen again," she whispered, her

voice filled with determination. "Talus, you've fought against so much... You can fight

this too. You are more than this!" But Shiva Talus only grinned, the pulsing eye now

becoming the focus of their very existence. "Fight? You still don't understand. I am the

fight. I am everything that will bring this world to its knees." At that moment, Daniel's

voice rang through the chaos, his tone calm but resolute. "Talus, this isn't you! You're not

a tool for destruction! Fight it—fight yourself!" The words hung in the air, a thin thread

of hope amidst the overwhelming tide of darkness. But Shiva Talus only responded with

more laughter, his body shimmering with terrifying cosmic energy, a god that had been

broken and rebuilt by the hands of those who sought to manipulate him. He was no

longer the demon they once knew. He was something far worse. The others exchanged

glances, knowing that if they didn't act quickly, the world itself might be lost to the chaos

Shiva Talus threatened to unleash. The battle was no longer just for survival—it was a

race against time to save their friend, or what remained of him.

Talus screamed with excitement, "You've ducked from this battle long enough elf,

its time to pay the piper!!" Talus could hear the voice of Enoch echoing in his head,

"Now kill them all, you have a golden opportunity to dispose of them, Talus." Talus

grabbed his scalp, "Get out of my head, I am a member of the Mozaku (Demon Clan),

and I have no need for you telling me what to do!! I am Talus, the great herald of the

DEMON CLAN!!!!!" Talus exploded with powerful energy. "It's over Elf, now we settle

the score!!! It's now time for you to die in battle!!! You still don't understand how I think

yet? I'll make it clear, I want to continue fighting forever or die trying. I care not for

power, or wealth, or ruling over others, or love, or friendship, I'll care for the thrill of

battle for the sake of battle!!" Daniel shouted: "And you're willing to get everyone killed

for such a petty reason!!" Talus stammered back: "Petty?! How dare you?????!!! Talus

exploded into anger. THE GALL YOU HAVE ELF, TO CALL ME PETTY!!!! I've been

wandering this Cosmos for over 10,000 years and then you show up a suitable challenge,

but all you do is duck and hide for over a millennia, despite the promise you made me,

tell me what kind of friend is that elf?!" said Talus. Daniel looked defeated and said,

"You're right... Talus... I did promise you that. Everyone go, I'll take care of this. I owe

him this much." Zaiyal shouted: "DANIEL ARE YOU INSANE?! We need to s..."

Daniel shouted: "ALL OF YOU GO NOW!! Take on Abraxtos and that Warlock I'll take

care of Talus, this is a long time coming, I need to keep my world, instead of just using

him to get what I want."

The creature was hundreds of miles of away, but in the mean time Daniel had to

deal with Talus. The others hesitated, torn between their instinct to protect Daniel and the

undeniable weight of his words. The wind howled around them, carrying the echoes of

destruction yet to come. Talus—no, Shiva Talus—grinned. "Finally, Elf. No more

running. No more excuses." His voice rumbled like an impending storm. "You and I, here

and now, we settle this." Daniel took a deep breath, his muscles tensing as he adjusted his

stance. "If this is the only way to reach you, then so be it." Before another word could be

spoken, Shiva Talus lunged. The ground beneath him shattered, his movements a blur of

fury and raw energy. Daniel barely had time to react as a fist, infused with power beyond

mortal comprehension, came crashing toward him. He dodged, but the sheer force sent

shockwaves rippling through the air, knocking back those still lingering. "Move!" Zaiyal

shouted, dragging Uvia back as the battle began in earnest. Pillars of fire erupted around

them, and the sky split open as if the heavens themselves recoiled at the clash of these

two warriors. Talus moved like a force of nature—unrelenting, chaotic, destructive. Every

strike sent tremors through the battlefield, and Daniel, though swift and precise, could

barely keep up. But as the fight raged on, he wasn't just dodging—he was watching,

searching. "Come on, Talus," Daniel muttered under his breath, parrying a devastating blow.

"Where are you in all this?" Shiva Talus sneered, his red eye gleaming with malice.

"Still hoping for a miracle? Fool. This is what I am now! This is what I have always

been!" He raised his hand, dark energy coalescing into a swirling sphere of oblivion.

"And this is the end of you!" Daniel gritted his teeth. He had one chance. One moment to

reach him. He let go. He dropped his sword. The act sent a ripple through the

battlefield—one that made even Shiva Talus pause for a fraction of a second. "What...?"

the godlike being muttered.

"I won't fight you, Talus," Daniel said, his voice firm. "Not like this. Not as

someone else's puppet." Shiva Talus twitched. Enoch's influence surged within him,

commanding him to strike, to destroy. But something was off. Something felt... wrong.

"You think this will change anything?!" Talus roared, his rage barely contained. "You

think you can reach me with words alone?! You coward! PICK UP YOUR BLADE!"

Daniel shook his head. "You said you wanted to fight me, Talus. The real me. Not

someone who's just playing into Enoch's hands." He spread his arms. "If this is what you

want... then finish it." Silence. For the first time since his transformation, Shiva Talus

hesitated. The red eye flickered. And somewhere deep inside the abyss of power,

something stirred. Something remembered. Talus. The real Talus. Uvia clutched Zaiyal's

arm, hope flickering in her eyes. "Come on, Talus... fight it." For a moment, the battle

stood still. The world held its breath. And then... Talus screamed. Not in fury. Not in

power. But in pain. His entire body convulsed, dark energy unraveling around him. The

sky trembled, the earth groaned beneath his weight. His form flickered between the

monstrous god Shiva Talus and the warrior he once was. "NO!" Enoch's voice bellowed

through his mind, frantic, desperate. "DON'T LISTEN TO HIM! YOU ARE BEYOND

REDEMPTION!" Talus clutched his head. His hands trembled. The red eye pulsed

erratically. "Daniel..." The voice that spoke was different—less a god, more a man. "I... I

don't..." Enoch howled in frustration. The Nyxoth, sensing the unraveling, lashed out

with its tendrils of shadow, aiming for Talus—intending to force him back into

submission. But this time, Talus moved before Daniel could. With one swift motion, he

severed the tendrils with a single slash of his claws. The sky flashed crimson. And then,

in a final, thunderous roar—Talus shattered the red eye. Darkness exploded outward.

Then, silence. When the dust settled, Talus stood there, his body smoking, his breathing

ragged. He looked at Daniel, his emerald eyes—his real eyes—staring back at him.

"...Took you long enough," he muttered before collapsing to his knees. Daniel exhaled,

his entire body shaking. "Yeah," he said softly. "I know." The others, watching from afar,

finally let go of their held breaths. Talus laughed, "You know the deal, it's the real me

now no more puppet. So now you have to fight me!!" Talus lunged forward and the two

of them fought for no more than 60 rounds. But at the end Daniel noticed something terrible.

"Talus, do you feel that?" Talus stopped: "Your stalling elf, both of us draw

breath the battle isn't over yet." Daniel shook his head, "there's something within that

creature, and not only that... all of your family members, your adopted nieces and

nephews, my friend's, and my family members: Qayyim, Q, J, Zaiyal Jr. Taymiyyah,

Cicero, Athena, Aquarius, Atil, and the loved ones of all the others. They're souls have

been absorbed with the exception of Barabbas. THIS THING IS GROWING

STRONGER!! And he's devouring souls!! Just like J said it would devour life, space and

time." Talus began to shake with fear and horror, but then he quickly gained his wits.

"And what of it?" Daniel was confused. "You see, 10 years ago Ungar said

something that really struck me. He said the truth, after spending all my time with all of

you your ridiculous softness began to rub off on me. I was adopted into a family, I had a

collective of nieces and nephews that looked up to me. And I cared for them they called

me uncle and I saw myself in that role. I was actually starting to grow comfortable living

on Helios and all that came with it. But I yearned to be the apathetic demon warrior I was

before, and now I'm free from the eye, but it taught me something before I expelled it, I

don't need any of those Cretans I'm back to my old villainous ways. And I couldn't be

happier." Without missing a beat Daniel cried: "LIAR!!" Daniel punched Talus into a

boulder behind him, Talus looked angry and confused. Daniel replied: "Talus before you

began to spew that crap, you best believe it first... You need to snap out of it. Do you

know one of the souls that that thing devoured was, it's Demi, she's been eaten by

Talus!!" Talus responded by shaking in fear and sorrow, he began to shake his fist and

finally relented. "FINE! But this isn't the end of our fight, we'll call it a truce for now."

Daniel sighed: "Okay buddy, are you reading..." Talus flew towards Daniel unleashing a

devastating blow to the gut not killing him but rendering unconscious in a single blow.

Talus felt out the energy of the creature: "My god its devoured so many millions of the

planet's population already, and not only that, Sir Rhyme, Demi, my god I think Daniel

was wrong it absorbed Barabbas, Qayyim, Zaiyal Jr., Q, J, Cicero, and its absorbed

Alan," I'm sorry to all of you, for so long you put up with my hothead attitude, not

defeating Lucifer when I could have and allowing Sarai and Daniel to die, stalling

Daniel from defeating this monster, being controlled by the enemy, I'm sorry all of you,

but Daniel shouldn't have to fix my mistake. This is my mistake to fix." Talus flew off in

the direction of the creature, Abraxtos and the wizard Enoch.

Ungar, Uvia, Hermes, Narcis Martreya, Tatu, Sarai, and Zaiyal, stared down

the daunting enemy at the evil wizard. They noticed something strange however, it was

Talus who was heading from another direction at a breaking speed and he arrived to fight

the wizard. But something was happening before Talus could arrive, the wizard combined with the creature as a result of absorbing all of those souls and energy. It became some

weird creature, a worm like being but humanoid in creation.

Talus eventually bolted right

where Abraxtos and Enoch were hovering in mid-air. "Hey Enoch!!" Enoch turned

around, "Oh if it isn't Talus, what happened to that present I gave you?" Talus laughed, "I

deposed that eye wizard, and now I'm going to dispose of you, I'm going to send you

back to hell." Enoch laughed, "So you've decided to side with these insects that aren't

like you Talus, why not join us?" Talus snarled: "Shut your mouth!! Don't tell me what to

do!!" Talus got in a martial-arts position, "Get ready Enoch for your destruction!!"

Abraxtos offered to step in but Enoch put his hand out, "Stand down Abraxtos, I'll take

care of this clown myself." Abraxtos lowered his head, "As you wish, my liege."

Talus hovered in midair, his body radiating raw energy as he locked eyes with

Enoch. The wizard smirked, his robes billowing from the sheer power emanating from

both warriors. The air between them crackled with tension, a prelude to the coming

storm. "So, you truly believe you can challenge me now?" Enoch sneered, stretching his

fingers as dark tendrils of energy formed at his fingertips. "The herald of the Demon

Clan, groveling with mortals. What a disgrace." Talus bared his fangs. "Spare me the

sermon, Enoch. You're about to be torn limb from limb!" Without another word, Talus

propelled himself forward, closing the gap in an instant. His first strike came like a

meteor, a devastating punch aimed straight for Enoch's smug face. But the wizard

vanished into a shadowy mist, reappearing behind Talus with his hand extended. A blast

of dark energy surged forward, but Talus twisted midair, dodging it by a hair's breadth.

The ground below exploded into a crater from the sheer force. Talus spun, his heel

lashing out in a brutal roundhouse kick. This time, Enoch blocked it with a conjured

barrier of violet flames. The impact sent ripples through the magical shield, but Enoch

remained unfazed. "You're stronger than before, I'll give you that," Enoch mused. "But

strength alone won't be enough to stop what's coming." Talus roared, charging again.

This time, his strikes were relentless, a flurry of punches and kicks that blurred in their

speed. Enoch countered each one with precise magic, deflecting or dodging as if he were

toying with Talus. "Enough of this," Enoch said, suddenly raising his arms. The sky

above twisted into a vortex of darkness, and from it descended a massive obsidian spear,

pulsing with corrupt energy. Talus looked up, his body tensing as the weapon plummeted

towards him. In a split-second decision, he braced himself, his arms crossing over his

chest. The spear struck, the force sending shockwaves through the battlefield.

Smoke and debris filled the air. Silence fell for a moment. Then, a deafening

crack. Talus emerged from the smoke, his arms bloodied but his stance unbroken. "That

all you got, wizard?" he taunted, a grin spreading across his face. Enoch frowned. "You should be dead."

Talus spat blood onto the ground. "Yeah, well, I've been through worse.

Now it's my turn." With a deafening roar, Talus unleashed his full power. The sky turned

crimson as the energy around him reached its peak. He lunged, faster than before, his fists

glowing with sheer destruction. Enoch barely had time to react before Talus was upon

him, landing a crushing punch to his gut. The wizard gasped, his body rocketing through

the battlefield, tearing through mountains and leaving a burning trail in his wake. Talus

didn't relent. He pursued, teleporting in front of the tumbling Enoch and slamming him

into the ground with a devastating double-handed strike. The battlefield trembled under

the impact. As the dust settled, Enoch lay in a crater, coughing up blood. He struggled to

his feet, his expression a mix of disbelief and fury. "I'm not done yet," Talus growled,

cracking his knuckles. "Get up, Wizard. You wanted this fight, and now you're going to

get every damn bit of it." Above them, the monstrous creature that Enoch and Abraxtos

had fused with roared, its hunger insatiable as it continued to consume more souls. The

sky itself seemed to wail in agony. Enoch chuckled weakly. "You're a fool, Talus. Even if

you defeat me, you cannot stop what has already begun." Talus' emerald eyes burned with

determination. "We'll see about that."

Talus shouted, "This one is for Qayyim!" And another: "this is for little Q!!!!" A

kick to the face sent Enoch flying. Talus landed behind him once more, "this is for

Junior!" The wizard was struck by another attack, "that was for Cicero!" And another

strike, "that was for Taymiyyah!" And another, "that was for Alan!!!" And another:

"that one's for Tashkent!" And another, "that was for Barabbas!" And finally one

more earth shattering attack Talus screamed: "AND THIS ONE'S FOR DEMI!!!!" The

wizard crashed into the earth slowly getting to his feet, he slowly began to chuckle,

"Hehehehehe, nice trice Talus but my death is irrelevant, soon that creature will devour

everything." In other world everyone: "Sir Rhyme, Mozi, Guan-Fu, Athena, Aquarius,

Atil, Luna, Oliver, Qayyim, J, Taymiyyah, Q, Demi, Tashkent, Barabbas, Zaiyal Junior,

Cicero, Alan, etc.," watched Talus from King Yama's crystal ball. Nobody could believe

it: "What got into Talus, he's fighting for someone besides himself," said Sir Rhyme.

Qayyim smirked: "Took you long enough, he's the care bear he is in my timeline, give

him hell Talus." Back on the battlefield, Enoch taunted: "You'll have to destroy us and

the creature, otherwise your entire world including the Other World will be destroyed."

Talus smirked: "I know that, I'm gonna blow you all to hell. Starting with you." Talus

shot a blast from his hand that seemed to render Enoch a corpse and then he began the

process of destroying the creature. He began to charge up his power. It accelccated higher

and higher. Far off in the distance Tatu was haunted by the memory of what he did to

destroy Lord Tep all those years ago. He was about to say something but Ungar stopped

him, "I know, he's going to do what you did, all those years ago Tatu, he's going to destroy his body to save this world." Zaiyal was shaken by pride in his friend: "Will he

really?"

Back below Talus was turning his body into a nuclear bomb. Talus' energy surged,

his very essence becoming a searing beacon of destruction. The sky above churned with

red and black clouds, lightning crackling in response to the overwhelming force gathering

within him. The battlefield trembled, the very air thick with the scent of ozone and raw

power. Enoch, broken and bloodied, lifted his head from the crater, his smirk unwavering

despite his shattered state. "Hah... You think sacrificing yourself will change anything?"

His voice was hoarse, but laced with a twisted amusement. "Even if you obliterate this

body, the creature... the hunger it wields... will never fade. This world is already

doomed." Talus' emerald eyes burned fiercely as he took a deep breath, the glow around

his body intensifying. "Then I'll destroy it completely. I'll make sure there's nothing left

for it to devour!" His voice was a war cry, a declaration of finality. The monstrous fusion

of Abraxtos and the eldritch horror shrieked, its form pulsating, twisting in grotesque

ways as it consumed more and more energy. Shadows stretched unnaturally, and the

ground beneath it decayed into an abyss. It was growing, evolving, becoming something

beyond comprehension. In the Other World, the onlookers watched in stunned silence. Sir

Rhyme clenched his fists, his usual poetic flair replaced by raw emotion. "Damn it,

Talus... Don't do this..." Luna bit her lip, her hands trembling. "There has to be another

way... There has to be!" Qayyim, however, smiled grimly. "He's doing what needs to be

done. He's always been like this—acting reckless, but this is the first time in this timeline

he's doing it for someone besides himself, he knows everyone will be sent to Otherworld

and that's better than this creature destroying everything in the Cosmos, Like I said he's

doing the right thing, there's no other way." Back on the battlefield, Tatu took a step

forward, as if ready to intervene. "Talus, listen! There's—" Ungar grabbed one of his

many insect arms, shaking his head. "No. This is his choice." Talus hovered above the

creature now, his body reaching critical mass. His skin cracked with sheer power, golden

light spilling through. The ground below scorched, the very air distorting under the

pressure of his impending detonation. He turned his gaze toward his comrades one last

time.

"Take care of each other. Qayyim, Zaiyal, Ungar, Narcis, everyone, especially you

Daniel. You were always there for me, now it's time I do something for you for a change."

And then, he dove towards the creature like a meteorite but before anything could happen

Talus's energy disappeared into nothing. Everyone was confused, but then they're brain

caught up with what happened. Talus had chopped Talus on the back of his neck

rendering him unconscious. Daniel caught Talus in midair and waved towards Ungar and the others to call them over. Ungar and the others arrive along with Sun Wukong and

Erlang. Wukong laughed: "Old Monkey knew this was Talus's destiny all along, I told

you he would live long ago. And I knew this was your destiny as well Daniel." Daniel

smirked, "then you know what I'm going to do, Wukong." Sun Wukong nodded. Ungar

nodded his head, "You understand what will happen right Daniel?" Daniel nodded, "I'll

die for good." Ungar nodded: "Because you live in Other World if you're killed you may

be spared and sent back but unlike mortals if someone in Other World takes their own life

they face soul destruction, you won't go to Other World, Heaven, Hell, Reincarnate or

anything else, you'll be nothingness all that will remain will be your memory." This

shocked: Zaiyal, Sarai, Narcis, but not Tatu. Tatu interjected: "You know Daniel, if Talus

died he would at worst be sent to Hell and be reincarnated after his soul was cleansed."

Daniel said: "I know but he has a chance to redeem himself in this life, there's no reason

for him to go through countless reincarnations to receive enlightenment when he can get

a second chance right now." Daniel signaled for the others to leave and he said: "Zaiyal

thank you for being my brother, Sarai thanks for being a great comrade, Narcis thanks for

teaching me everything I know about the pacifist path, Tatu thank you for taking of

everyone in Other World, and Ungar thanks for making me the man I am today, and

Hermes I know you'll become the greatest warrior and saint of this epoch." Zaiyal was

still confused however: "BUT WHY DANIEL??!! Why are you sparring your life for

him right now." Daniel thought for a moment: "For one I have a technique that can

destroy all of these Cretins while sparring the planet, additionally, I want to die so he gets

a second chance, I've always believed everyone gets one." Ungar said calmly: "So you're

dying for his sins." Daniel laughed: "Don't put it like that, it just... breaks my heart..."

Everyone was confused. Daniel said: "Talus was born into this world alone, he was born

in a natural state of darkness without parents and more importantly without friends. I

promised him I'd fight him all those years ago and I never really intended to follow

through. This is my fault, and I'm going to rectify it." Zaiyal was going to scream, but

Ungar stopped him with a silent force: "I'll take Talus," said Ungar. Daniel handed Talus

over to Ungar. Daniel said: "One more thing Ungar... can you tell me something for

Talus." Ungar nodded: "Of course." Daniel said: "Tell him I'm sorry if he feels like this

is his fault, tell him this is my fault," as he said this tears began to pour down his cheeks,

"and tell him," he said as he sobbed, "I'm sorry I won't be able to give him the fight he

wanted." Ungar nodded. Daniel screamed: "NOW GO!! Get out of here!! I'm going to

finish this!!" Ungar was carrying Talus, along with Sun Wukong and God Erlang made

sure that Zaiyal, Sarai, Narcis Martreya Buddha and Tatu [the Golden Cicada] followed

them into the air to leave the site of Daniel's sacrifice.

After this Daniel began to charge up his final attack, just like Talus before Daniel

stopped him, Daniel was turning himself into a nuclear bomb, this time fueled by the rays

of the sun and the light of Helios. It was a spectacle unlike any other, a moment etched

into the fabric of existence. Daniel stood alone against the nightmarish fusion of Abraxtos

and the eldritch horror, his form glowing with celestial energy. The battlefield trembled

under the sheer weight of his power, the heavens themselves parting as his radiance

intensified. The creature shrieked, its twisted form contorting as it sensed the impending

doom. The souls it had devoured cried out in torment, their wails merging into a

cacophony of agony. But Daniel did not waver. His resolve burned brighter than the sun

itself. Far above, the fleeing warriors looked back, their eyes filled with sorrow. Talus,

still unconscious in Ungar's grasp, stirred slightly, as if sensing something was amiss.

Zaiyal clenched his fists, his heart screaming against the injustice of it all. Daniel took

one final deep breath, his body becoming a conduit for cosmic retribution. He lifted his

hands toward the sky, channeling every ounce of his essence. The energy of Helios, the

warmth of countless suns, the very light of creation itself—he welcomed it all. His soul

became a beacon, a burning star preparing to collapse in one final, divine eruption. The

monstrous being lunged, its hunger driving it into a desperate frenzy. Darkness and

corruption surged forward, tendrils of pure malevolence reaching for Daniel. But he was

faster. With a voice that echoed across realms, Daniel roared: "SOLAR OBLIVION!!"

The world was engulfed in a light so intense that time itself seemed to halt. The creature's

screams were drowned out as the wave of divine fire consumed it entirely. Shadows

burned away, every ounce of corruption reduced to nothingness in the face of Daniel's

final act. The explosion expanded outward, swallowing the battlefield in a brilliant

conflagration. The ground melted, the sky was torn asunder, and in the heart of it all,

Daniel—smiling through his tears—vanished into oblivion. First turning into dust and

then into nothingness. Then, silence. The aftermath was eerily still. The battlefield was

no more, only a vast crater of scorched earth and lingering embers. The sky, once twisted

by dark forces, was clear again, the sun rising as if to honor the warrior who had given

everything.

From the distance, Ungar, Zaiyal, Hermes, Sarai, and the others watched in

stunned silence. Tears streamed down Zaiyal's face as he choked back a sob. "He's...

gone," Sarai whispered. Ungar bowed his head. "No. His memory remains." Ungar

continued: "He said he knew the death of his legacy is his death, but I will remember him

for what for all of you might as well be eternity, but I don't think he remembered that

when he did this, I don't think it crossed his mind for a second. You did it Daniel, you are

and always were the best." Talus, barely conscious, stirred once more. His breath was

shaky, his body weak—but when his emerald eyes fluttered open, they were filled with

something new. A single tear slipped down his cheek as he muttered Daniel's name. And

for the first time in his life, Talus felt something unfamiliar, something alien. Loss.
