Vin immediately releases Koma's sword from his belongings, turning it back into its original size. Koma raises his blade, and wasting no movements:
"Executioner's finale!" He yells.
"Shambles," Law calmly responds, raising two fingers and being replaced by Koma himself, the two switching places.
The air slash he sent towards Law closed in on him. But Koma's experience in life or death situations is nearly one of a kind already — his reaction time quicker than anything. Although he was already mid-motion and unable to dodge it, he was quickly able to activate armament Haki to soften the blow of his own attack.
He was launched away, and where he ended up laying to recover from the attack, the remaining four Heart Pirates all swarmed.
Vin gives Law an anxious glance.
"What? You scared?"
Immediately, Law unsheathed and twisted his sword in Vin's general direction. Air slashes he couldn't even begin to dodge flew out toward him. Vin's body was sliced into pieces, but he hadn't died. His parts were floating. He quickly recognised this was certainly also the power of his Devil Fruit.
Although, he could still somewhat control his body parts, despite the disorientation.
Law rushed towards Vin, blade in hand.
He inched his foot closer to the ground, making contact with the concrete road and activating his fruit. "Mold!" The boy exclaimed, creating a wall as a barrier
"Shambles!"
Vin and the wall he used for protection had been swapped, and having no protection from Law's sword, Vin's flying torso was sliced with a horizontal slash.
Vin used the blood that instantaneously gushed out to create a handful of spikes to pierce Law, but they were not quick enough. Easily dodged, he proceeded to add insult to injury. "You're not using your power right," he calmly put out in the midst of battle.
The pirate thrusted at his opponent's temple with the hilt of his blade. This practically sent Vin's head flying and rendered him unconscious.
Before Law seemingly deactivated the Room, he put Vin back together.
"Hopefully those idiots aren't dead.." Law muttered to himself as he began to pace in their direction.

Vin laid on the floor. Not entirely unconscious, but not too far from it. Thoughts ran through his head. He was handled quickly.. and now Koma is truly in trouble. All due to his incompetency.
'I'm not using my power right..?' he thought to himself. Perhaps what Law said was true — but on a different note, his energy was far too sapped from his bleeding and likely concussion to fight any longer using his fruit.
Efficiently, he searched within his soul and outward to his chest for the slash wound. It wasn't quite as much of a death sentence as he would assume — the 'cruel' and 'ruthless' pirate obviously held back as to not prematurely kill the boy.
He tugged at the wound using his power, immediately drying up all the leaking blood to quickly clot it and prevent more significant injury. Although it felt like he still couldn't get up.
'Do you ever use your hands? Maybe you should start brother.' 'Your physical tools are more than enough.' These words echoed in his head. Perhaps it was true. Throughout his short stint of a marine career, he had proven quick reflexes and instincts, although he remained highly suspicious that physically, he was any different to a normal human.
But perhaps his confidence was what was truly missing.
He can't get physically stronger, but it's not like he ever tried to throw a punch. He can't dodge insanely quick attacks, but it's not like he ever tried to move in such a manner.
Currently, he thought he couldn't get up, let alone fight. But he hadn't even yet tried.
With his bloody hands gripping the desert sand, he slowly raised himself to his knees, a planking position. Slowly, that developed into him being on one knee. Then, eventually, he had stood up.
Trafalgar Law was walking down an alleyway, attempting to find where his crew and Koma had wandered off to during their battle. It would be stupid to assume his lackeys could defeat the Rear Admiral, however, he did not need them to do that. Obviously, he was stalling the man, hoping the injury he dealt to himself would give the crew enough leverage until Law could arrive.
Vin made no sound whatsoever, moving closer to him.
Clearly, the pirate thought the boy should never be able to get up from that. However, not only did he underestimate how he would be able to heal his own wounds, but he also underestimated his endurance.
Hence, when Vin entered the area where he could make a move, Law noticed too late.
No spear. No blood spike. Couldn't manage doing that. Instead, he'd listen to Koma, and take the belief his senior had in him for himself.
Law saw the punch coming. In fact, when he noticed Vin about to sock him in the face, Vin's fist had barely moved past his own body. That didn't matter. It was shockingly quick.
The captain put his arms up to block the punch, but had barely missed the window of the strike, his face temporarily crushed by the boy's knuckles. He was sent soaring out of the alleyway into open, desert land.
'That was quicker than before..!'
No significant damage — a bloody lip and a somewhat fractured nose, but nothing an operation on himself could not immediately fix.
"Room," he activated his power once more. But this time, the marine knew what was coming. As the sword twisted and the air slashes arrived, he managed to barely dodge them all.
Before he could try it again, Vin had closed the gap, and Law had raised his sword to strike him.
A pierce, aimed directly at Vin's heart before Vin's own attack could reach.
Deemed ineffective.
Vin manoeuvred out of the way, dodging the direct lunge to the side of Law. Upon this move, he threw a side kick directly at the pirate captain's ribcage, potentially dealing solid damage.
Law coughed out a few droplets of blood onto the shifting sand below.
Vin immediately tried to close the gap between them again, launching a right hook right to Law's cranium.
"Shambles."
The two switched places, and his hook missed. However, somehow, the boy predicted it, and immediately transitioned into a spin kick.
That transition phase was enough for Law to get a clean block in, though, only being sent a bit further away.
Vin charged once more, predicting the switch as soon as he got close. However, Law just stood there and began a swing of his sword.
"Shambles," he called out once more.
He didn't commit to the attack as he knew a switch was inevitable. Law was replaced by a stool which once elegantly sat outside a wooden residence.
However, Law already began the twisting of his sword before the switch even happened, this time travelling from the front of the house, sending air slashes toward Vin. There was no chance of dodging this — no matter how he moved his body, he would once more be sliced into pieces. It was too quick.
Vin managed to sneak out of the way of a few, but was still left floating in a few uneven slices.
In the same sequence, the pirate quickly left another slash on the boy in close range. A real one. A deep one. On his stomach. Once again, Law reverted him back to his normal body, and disabled Room. He wiped his own mouth from the blood.
Vin desperately tried to close the second wound and get back up. The struggle was evident on his face. But he was practically rendered immobile, and all his energy escaped with the pool of blood the sand below absorbed.
"You broke one of my ribs for sure, piece of shit.." He then resumed the search attempt for his crew.
Then, suddenly, footsteps echoed in front of the pirate. The dust settles, and it reveals the massive burly frame of a man who just escaped war.
"Looking for someone?" Koma cheered, lightly battered and bruised.
