Korvus was walking the Alien king back to his spaceship. He knew Alpha Kayden would ask him to walk the lizard king back to his spaceship, so he plotted and took some of the vials of the blood under his garment, ready to present it to the Alien King.
The ramp of Ketem's spaceship hummed beneath Korvus's feet. The metal was smooth. Nothing like the rough stone and woven roots of the lizard camp. Korvus's claws clicked against the surface as he walked.
Ketem walked beside him. His long coat swayed and his dark eyes scanned the forest beyond the clearing.
"Your camp is improving," Ketem said. "Slowly. But improving. You lizards are a bit lazy. I would've expected to see a while civilization when I come."
Korvus said nothing.
"The slaves, especially. The human ones. I saw several on my way in. They are beautiful creatures. Bit not prettier than my Alien concubines." Ketem's lips curled. "I would love to have a taste of them."
