Rim Young's mind immediately thought of Wi Hajoon, but he didn't respond. Instead, he lowered his gaze to the watermelon in his hands and took another bite, pretending to focus on the sweet fruit. The tips of his ears, however, betrayed him completely as a faint shade of pink slowly spread across them.
"What's there to be shy about? You have someone you like, right?"
The old woman guessed correctly.
"Yes..."
He did have someone he liked, though he wasn't used to saying it out loud. But in this world, it was pretty normal to like the same gender. That's why he decided he should just say it.
"Do they like you too?"
Rim Young shook his head as he replied casually.
"It doesn't matter. I will just be in love with them anyway."
"That sounds tough. The younger ones don't have it any easier, I see."
"I'm doing well. You don't need to worry about me."
"It still gets lonely when you're at my age, but at least I had my fun when I was young. So it's all fine."
