Knock knock, miss Amelia ,…mhmmm, miss Amelia, huh! Yes oh I must've slept off sorry Gertrude what is it , night has fallen madam I have gotten us lodgings in an inn, I pulled the curtains back to see a dark sky well yes I guess it is night well yes then let us proceed I am quite famished and in need of a bath, the carriage was pulled in front of the inn where the coachman handed me my keys and went back to take the carriage into the stables and feed the horses I informed the inn keeper the food I would like and to draw up hot water for me to bath before resting and then headed into my room. After having my bath and eating I lay on the bed " I don't think I've ever been alone before thinking of it, I'm always home with my parents or most times my mama when father leaves for business this is this first time I'll be alone and I'm quite sad I do miss mama and the smell of home we have already crossed into a new town the air here smells different, she stood up to head to the window sill and sat down looking down into the street of children playing and the women talking and laughing watching over their kids while the men are away working the whole scene feels so calming towards her broken heart and she started reminiscing about a particular memory she was seven years old and she and her family had just moved into a new house and when she started to feel sad about leaving their old when her dad picked her up and started running "last one to the backyard looses"and they took off sprinting "hey! That's no fair at all" her mum yelled already running behind them " you snooze you loose darling" I was laughing in my dads arms" dad run faster mama's gonna beat us" " you bet I am" and we all jumped into the backyard and landed on the floor laughing , one little gremlin didn't run at all but got all the credit she needs tha tickle monster eiii (giggling and squeaking ) mama stop it lets tickle daddy oh nooo eiiii and they all lay there sprawled on the floor laughing
