Chapter 83 - Chapter 83: Hashirama Senju’s Voyage on the Seas

"So, as long as I assist you, you'll help stop Madara on the Ninja World's side when the time comes?"

Hashirama Senju listened to Roy's plan, contemplating carefully.

"Yes, and when that time comes, I'll summon you. With luck, there might even be a chance for resurrection."

Roy spread his hands; for such a powerful ally, he was willing to pay a certain price.

"Resurrection, huh. Truly amazing, but excessive intervention isn't a good thing."

However, Hashirama Senju didn't have strong feelings about whether he was resurrected or not.

"Let's return to this world. After overthrowing the World Government, how will you go about rebuilding order?"

Hashirama Senju asked with a hint of curiosity and inquiry.

As a former legend of the Ninja World and the one who single-handedly created its existing order, Hashirama held profound insights into ruling and governing an entire world.

Time had passed, and the former system of balancing power among ninja villages had gradually revealed its limitations, ultimately failing completely.

Faced with Hashirama Senju's question, Roy's expression remained exceptionally composed.

Overthrowing the old order was not the end; the true challenge lay in constructing a new world order.

So, he slowly extended his hand and took a meticulously prepared plan from his pocket, one that contained his vision for the future world—an innovative system that merged memories from his previous life.

"My idea is to establish a 'World Arbitration Court' composed of powerful individuals from various realms."

"This institution would transcend national and factional boundaries, absorbing top-tier experts from different backgrounds and standpoints, including but not limited to elite Marines, pirates willing to reform, and civilians with great power..."

This concept had already been quietly taking root in Roy's mind.

As he came into contact with and understood more worlds, an ambition had grown deep within him—to build a grand base that spanned across time and space.

Roy had already inquired multiple times with the system about the possibility of creating permanent portals between different worlds.

The system had given a positive reply, but the cost was so immense that even Roy had to consider it carefully.

When Roy shared this vision with Hashirama Senju, the former Ninja World powerhouse showed unexpected openness.

"If that's the case, perhaps our world could be incorporated as well."

Hashirama Senju's laughter was bright and magnanimous; he didn't react strongly to the idea of his world being absorbed.

In his view, if the Ninja World could become part of this grand plan and prosper alongside other worlds, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

However, he didn't intend to decide for the Ninja World either; that choice would have to be made by the living there.

"If you're not against it, that counts as support."

Roy thought to himself; in an environment like the Ninja World, Hashirama Senju's stance undoubtedly carried significant weight. After all, there weren't many stronger than him.

Roy gazed at the Impure World Reincarnation form of Hashirama Senju before him, fingers lightly stroking his chin.

Since this legendary ninja had agreed to his terms, in a sense, Hashirama Senju could be considered a capable subordinate under him, though the relationship was a bit delicate.

"As expected, for the sake of his best friend Madara Uchiha, Hashirama is willing to do anything."

"So, Mr. Hashirama, I'm curious: in your current state, how much of your strength can you exert?"

Roy's tone was filled with anticipation.

Hearing this, Hashirama Senju also raised his hand to stroke his chin, a glint of curiosity in his eyes.

He vaguely remembered the last time he had been summoned, when facing Hiruzen Sarutobi, he couldn't even bring out half his power.

But this time was different; the materials Roy had prepared for him were extraordinary—precious remnants of the Divine Tree, which possessed remarkable compatibility with his own power.

"Let me try it out myself."

Hashirama Senju's expression became solemn as the chakra within him surged like a vast ocean. He quickly pressed his palms together and intoned, "Wood Release: Wood Human Technique!"

No sooner had the words left his lips than a colossal wooden figure appeared out of nowhere, its majesty awe-inspiring.

But Hashirama Senju wasn't satisfied with that. He closed his eyes slightly, attempting to further draw upon the immense energy of nature to activate the even more powerful Sage Mode.

Yet at that moment, the gathered energy suddenly dissipated like a receding tide, as if constrained by some invisible limit.

Hashirama Senju's eyes snapped open, a hint of regret flashing within them.

"It seems this Impure World Reincarnation body, after all, cannot bear the Sage Mode I once wielded."

Hashirama Senju said with a bright laugh.

Seeing this, Roy frowned slightly, then relaxed again.

He calculated silently to himself: since he now possessed such a powerful asset as Hashirama Senju, he couldn't simply let this resource go to waste.

"If I further strengthen this Impure World Reincarnation body with the Divine Tree remnants, would it be possible to break the limits and allow Hashirama to use Sage Mode again? What's more, if I transplanted Sharingan into him, what changes would occur?"

Roy's eyes sparkled with excitement, as if he could already see a future of infinite possibilities.

Once this idea took root in his mind, it grew like wild grass, making him eager to try it out.

During this time, Roy also roughly attempted to teach Hashirama Senju various things, including Haki.

Several days later, after careful adjustments and enhancements by Roy, Hashirama Senju began his life at sea.

He used Wood Release to weave a small boat, slowly sailing away from the shore and formally stepping into the vast, boundless ocean.

Soon, he was astonished to discover that the sea of this world was far broader than anything he had known—boundless, with rolling waves and magnificent swells.

The islands scattered across the ocean were diverse in form: some were emerald green, while others were covered in pure white snow. All of this filled Hashirama Senju with awe and wonder.

"Haha, I never imagined that even after death, I'd be fortunate enough to come to such a wondrous world."

Hashirama Senju stood at the bow, letting the sea breeze brush against his face, his laughter hearty and bold.

"If only Madara were here. How wonderful it would be if we two could work together."

In the following days, combined with some materials Roy had given him, he gradually came to understand this world.

The first few days went smoothly. For a powerhouse like Hashirama Senju, neither storms nor Sea Kings posed any threat.

One day, Hashirama Senju stood at the bow gazing out. He hadn't set foot on an island in a while, and now he felt like visiting a populated place.

Soon, he noticed the sea ahead had grown noticeably calmer. Numerous pirate ships were docked at an island, and above the various pirate crews, a flag hung prominently: a skull with a white mustache.

Had any other pirate been there, they would have turned pale at the sight. However, for Hashirama Senju, who was new to the world of One Piece, he didn't recognize any of it.

Or rather, even if he had known, he would have just laughed heartily.
