Chapter 9 - chapter 9

Ryker

"That's enough, bitches." I announced and the sluts that were once glued to my body rushed away, knowing what would come if they delayed by a second.

I grabbed a shirt, draping it over my body as I stared at my shoulders and chest.

It's been a while since I visited the gym. Should I try exercising today? But then there's so much to monitor in this pack.

It seems like Thor and I are the only sane people. Shaking my head, I grabbed my phone as I dashed out.

People stopped as they bowed their heads while the weaker vessels fell on their knees, succumbing to my powerful aura.

This was life, being feared and referenced by the world was the best feeling, no slut trying to force her way into your life, no stupid wolf being delusional to think they can overthrow you.

Just a few wolves who have no regard for their lives. I paused on my way to the throne room.

Sniffing the air, my eyes flickered, I knew that scent, it was one thing I lived for. Thor was having fun without me.

Hastily, I turned around, heading for the field and just as I had predicted, there were three guards kneeling on the floor, covered in blood while Thor had an expressionless face as he watched them from his chair.

"Don't you think this is cruel, brother?" I inquired, sitting beside him as he flashed me a smirk. "Having a party without extending an invitation to me."

He chuckled. "I was just so excited to get my hands on them, I apologize." He replied and I nodded.

Staring at them, their faces were familiar. I never forget the faces of my enemies, they'll forever be rooted to my memory until the day I've had my revenge and stripped them of their dignity and breaths.

I grabbed a hot coal that had been placed at the side. Taking a step forward while the guards whimpered and trembled like ladies.

Such weak and pathetic beings! With a smile, I placed it on the cheek of the first guard who screamed loudly, making the air even more tense as people's fears rose.

I longed for days like this, goddess knew I'd give anything just to have fun like this everyday.

"We see everything, nobody steals from us, ever." Thor snarled as he grabbed a bucket of water, putting it all of them as they shivered.

I sniffed the air, frowning as a familiar scent wafted through my nostrils. I turned around, my eyes flaring when I found Dylan's mate passing by with a group of slaves.

They were hurrying away with their heads bowed.

"Wait." I ordered, pointing in a direction without raising my head. "Stay back." I instructed and the rest rushed out with speed.

"Come, slave." Thor muttered and she walked towards us. I raised my head to see her shivering, the air was filled with her fear.

My wolf loved it, he was purring and prancing inside me with delight, her fears were like food for him.

She fell to her knees as she neared us and I chuckled as I grabbed a knife, walking over to the guards who were groaning and trying to move away from me, they didn't utter any word, knowing I could cut their heads if a word slipped out of their lips.

"This is what happens when someone tries something crazy in this pack… You can run but you can't hide, we'll always find you, whether you mask your scent or not, we're gods on earth." Thor whispered as he grabbed the neck of the first guard, thrusting a knife into his mouth, going further and further as blood began spilling while the guard was groaning and struggling.

I was carving out our names on the second one, just nine words. Seeing how short our names were, made me want to adopt something long like Alexander.

By the time I was fine, my hands were covered in blood and I grinned as I grabbed my sword and Thor grabbed his and together, we cut off the heads of the two guards by the side, their blood spilling on my white dress and I shrugged.

The slave made a retching sound as she clutched her chest, puking all over the ground as her hands trembled while her face was pale.

Thor and I chuckled as we pointed our sword to the last person. We did a silent count in our head before slicing his throat from both angels, our swords clashing together.

"Towel!" I ordered and a maid rushed over, presenting a tray with towels which I used to dab my hands.

"What should we do to Dylan's little mate? Send her back to him so they can live happily ever after?" I taunted.

"I doubt she goes by the name Cinderella." Thor pointed out and a rumble erupted from my chest.

"She's too weak, scram!" I retorted and she bolted to her feet, tripping twice as she rushed away while another guard walked over to cover up the dirt on the floor.

"Her scent…"

"It's hidden but at the same time little seeps out, what does she think she is? Does she think our men are weak and that they'll be seduced easily? Is that why she masked her scent?" I frowned.

"Alpha Kushiro is extending a marriage proposal for his two daughters, what do you think?" Thor replied.

"We have enough sluts, I do not wish to own a delusional princess who thinks we're in a fairytale, we're past the age of love and even if by a tiny chance I find my mate, I'll kill her on the spot."
