Through the drive to his place, Sebastian was incessantly bothered by the messages he had read in his chat with Dylan.
"Did he mistakenly send it to me when he intended to send it to himself to keep?"
It would've been wise to settle on that thought, simple, logical, and true, but Sebastian wasn't ready to reduce it all to something that straightforward. His mind refused to let go.
"But why would he do so? I mean, why would he want to keep those messages to himself when he hadn't even bothered to answer them in the first place?"
"He has even been so bothered about them, thinking I had called him a whore…" Sebastian muttered under his breath, massaging his temples with one hand as he waited for the traffic light to turn green. The tension in his head only seemed to worsen the more he thought about it.
He was still lost in his thoughts when the honking of the cars behind him snapped him back to reality, forcing him to move forward.
