Jay Jay's POV
Oh my God.
Who was that boy?
The audacity. Seriously. I was just asking a question, not starting a war. And the way he looked at me—like he could just stare through my soul?
Yeah... no thanks.
I exhaled, trying to shake it off.
No trouble, Jay. Remember your promise.
Even if they deserve it.
Still... something about this school already felt off.
"I don't know... this feels like a bad decision," I muttered.
And right on cue—
"Is she new here?"
"Oh, she is pretty."
"Yeah... but she looks kinda scary."
"Yeah, right?"
I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.
Whisper louder, maybe I'll hear you better. 🙄
I kept walking like I didn't hear them, even though every word landed. My thoughts were already loud enough—
and then—
thud!
"Oh!"
I bumped into someone, and her books slipped straight to the floor.
"Shoot—I'm so sorry!" I dropped down quickly, picking them up. "I should've been looking—"
"It's okay."
Her voice was soft.
I looked up
Sunlight fell across her face, her hair slightly covering it. She looked effortlessly beautiful... calm. ✨
"Oh—here," I handed her the last book. "I'm really sorry."
"It's fine," she said with a small smile. "It was kind of my fault too."
"Are you new here?" she asked.
"Yeah. First day."
"I thought so." She stood up. "I'm Rakki San Diego. Class president of Section C."
"Oh—right. I'm jasper jean Mariano ...Jay Jay for short."
She nodded. "Do you have your register? I can help you find your class."
"Please," I sighed, handing it over. "This place is huge. I'm already lost."
She looked at it—and then a small, slightly teasing smile appeared on her face.
"You're in Section E."
I looked at her.
"Yeah... is it that bad?" I asked.
She let out a soft breath, almost like she was holding back a laugh. "No, no... I can't really explain. You'll get it when you go there."
That didn't sound reassuring at all.
"Oh," I said, glancing around. "I thought this was Section E..."
She shook her head lightly. "No, this is Section C."
"Oh shit!!. I'm so sorry," I said quickly, a little embarrassed.
"It's okay," she smiled. "It happens sometimes."
Great, Jay. First day and you've already embarrassed yourself. Amazing start. 😭
She gestured behind me. "You'll need to go downstairs, then head to the back. There's another building—you'll find Section E there."
"Right... okay. Thanks," I said, giving a small nod.
"No problem. We'll meet at lunch."
"Yeah... see you."
I turned and walked back the way I came from.
Wow. Incredible. First day and I'm already lost and embarrassing myself. 🙃
I swear I'm going to kill that guy.
Okay, Jay... you're also dumb.
You literally followed him blindly.
So yeah your fault too.
But still—
that face...
that attitude...
ughhhh
I clenched my jaw, annoyed—at him, at myself, at this whole situation.
No trouble, Jay. Remember your promise.
Even if they deserve it.
Even if they're asking for it.
"Okay. Breathe in...
breathe out...
calm down."
I stopped for a second, staring at the building ahead.
And finally accepted it.
That big, fancy main building?
Not mine.
This... this dumpster-looking building?
Yeah.
That's where I'm spending the whole year.
"Great," I muttered. "Amazing choice, Jay." 😑
I exhaled.
"Okay... the infamous Section E—here I come."
I pushed the door open.
"May I come in, sir?"
Ci-N's POV
Section E was already chaotic.
Not normal chaos.
Our kind of chaos.
People talking over each other, paper balls mid-air, someone arguing, someone laughing—
basically, a regular day.
I had heard a new student was coming.
Thought it would be a guy.
After the last time...
Yeah.
Let's not go there.
No one really wanted another girl here.
Not after that.
Yuri made it clear.
Keifer made it clearer.
And then—
she walked in.
Oh.
This just got interesting.
"Class," Sir Alvin said, "this is your new classmate. Miss Mariano, introduce yourself."
She stepped forward.
"Hi everyone, my name is Jasper Jean Mariano. You can call me Jay-Jay."
Silence.
No one really cared.
Some didn't even look.
"Does anyone have a question?" Sir Alvin asked.
Silence.
"Class president?"
And the moment she saw him—
she paused.
Recognition.
WAITT!!!
Have they met before? 👀
Yeah... this is getting interesting.
He looked straight at her.
"Are you still virgin?"
"What the hell?" someone whispered.
Jay snapped.
"What the actual fuck? You're asking that in front of a teacher?"
"Keifer!" Sir Alvin warned.
"Sir, you said questions," he replied calmly. "This is also a question."
Sir Alvin frowned.
but before he could say anything
Jay let out a sharp breath. and snapped
"sir is asking for an appropriate question?
Maybe your IQ is too low to understand that."
A few voices—
"Damn..."
Keifer smirked.
"Oh, you want a question?" he said. "Here's one."
The class leaned in.
"When are you going to leave our section?"
A pause.
"when are you going to leave this planet?" she said
The class burst out laughing.
"Why don't you disappear first?" he added.
Jay didn't hesitate.
"Because I'm the one who's going to make you disappear from this world."
The room shifted.
Quieter.
That kind of quiet.
"Like you can," he said, a little louder.
"Yes. I can."
For a second, no one spoke.
Because no one—no one—talks to Keifer like that.
No one looks him straight in the eye and answers back like she just did.
Not like that.
Not without backing down.
But she didn't.
She just stood there—calm, steady.
🔥
"Enough!" Sir Alvin snapped. "Calm down—both of you. Sit down."
Silence fell.
"Miss Mariano, I'm Sir Alvin. I teach English."
She nodded.
The seating arrangement was weird.
A full U-shape.
Perfect to watch.
Or target.
She tried near the door.
"Occupied."
Next.
"Taken."
Same tone.
Same message.
No one said it out loud—
but everyone knew.
If Keifer doesn't accept you
neither do we.
And after the last time...
Yeah.
Better not repeat that.
She paused.
Then walked straight to the center.
Sat down.
Right in the middle.
Where everyone could see her.
Bold. 😏
Everyone exchanged looks.
Silent communication.
Paper balls already forming.
Welcome to Section E.
Two to three classes passed.
No one really cared.
Teachers came and went.
But the attention?
Still on her.
Jay Jay's POV
What is wrong with them?
Is there seriously not a single girl in this section?
I counted.
Fourteen boys.
Fourteen.
And I'm the only girl here?
"Wow," I muttered. "Perfect." 🙃
The moment the teacher stepped out—
it started.
Paper balls.
One hit my arm.
Another my desk.
Then—
gum.
One stuck to my sleeve.
"Ew—what the hell?!" 🤢
Another almost hit my hair.
"Oh my God, you people are disgusting."
I stood up.
"What the fuck is wrong with you all? Childish !!!?"
No one stopped.
Big mistake.
My eyes went straight to him.
Keifer.
I raised my hand.
Middle finger.
Clear.
Direct.
Gasps.
Laughter.
I rolled my eyes.
"Pathetic."
I grabbed my things and walked out.
Oh my God.
These people are insane.
It's like walking into a jungle.
"Why were they throwing things at me?" I muttered. "And gum? Seriously? Disgusting."
I pulled out sanitizer and basically attacked my hands with it.
Then my sleeve.
"Ew. No."
I exhaled.
Then
"Okay. Focus."
"Food."
My mood shifted instantly.
"Food is life." 🍟
I looked ahead.
"This school looks rich... they better have good food."
Pause.
"Because if they don't... I genuinely see no reason to stay."
Then I sighed.
"Oh wait. There is a reason."
"Kuya will kill me." 💀
I smirked.
"But if they think they can mess with me like that..."
I started walking.
"They picked the wrong girl."
"I'm not leaving this section."
"Not without a fight." 🔥
I adjusted my bag.
"Now... let's go find the canteen." 🍽️
