"Really? Then why haven't you been home these days?" Janice questioned.
Christopher was speechless. He didn't know how to answer.
Seeing that he didn't say anything, Janice was surer about her guess.
"You know I'm pregnant, don't you?" Christopher did not say a word.
"So, you must have struggled in your heart for a long time about how to treat me, right?" she asked again.
He still lowered his head in silence.
His silent attitude was no doubt a confession.
Janice felt that there was nothing left to say.
She hid the fact that she was pregnant from him because she was afraid that this would happen if he found out. But, it still happened.
She was too naive.
She closed her eyes bitterly and tried to calm herself down. "You've lost part of your memories, and I know that it's not easy to accept a pregnant me. I don't blame you. Let's end this relationship after this meal."
She was tired and could not bear it anymore.
