Chapter 17 - Goodwill Event

Today was the day of the Kyoto Goodwill Event, a gathering of powerful jujutsu sorcerers from across Japan. Aiden stood among them, looking confident and composed despite his new abilities. He'd kept his discoveries secret, wanting to master them fully before showing anyone else.

Aiden walked with the first and second-year students of Jujutsu High towards the Kyoto Goodwill Event. Gojo was leading the group, his carefree attitude contrasting with Aiden's focused demeanor. The other students chatted and laughed among themselves, unaware of Aiden's secret training and new abilities.

Aiden walked casually between Maki and Nobara, the three of them part of the larger group heading to the event. Maki maintained her cool, confident expression, while Nobara was already complaining about something small and insignificant. Gojo's footsteps were ahead of them, leading the way. The other students filled out the group, some chatting, others quietly observing.

The Kyoto students approached, their expressions ranging from curious to hostile. Leading them was Mai Zenin, her sharp eyes immediately landing on Maki with clear disdain. Behind her stood the other Kyoto sorcerers, including Miwa, Kamo, and Todo.

Mai smirked, crossing her arms. "Well, well. Jujutsu High's finest."

"You must be mai nice to meet you." said Aiden stepping forward.

Mai's smirk faltered slightly at Aiden's polite greeting, caught off guard by his friendly tone despite knowing his fearsome capabilities. The other Kyoto students whispered nervously among themselves, aware of his reputation. Mai's voice became more guarded, "Likewise... Aiden Zenin."

Gojo chuckled behind them. "Oh? Does little Mai finally recognize her cousin's power? How cute."

Mai's jaw tightened but she said nothing, her fear of Aiden's capabilities outweighing her usual arrogance. The other Kyoto students shifted nervously, none wanting to provoke the special grade sorcerer hybrid.

"anyways, what's the first event called?" asked Aiden.

"It's the Cursed Spirit Exorcism Race," Mai answered curtainly. "Teams of three compete to exorcise a specific Grade 2 cursed spirit hidden in the forest before the other team does. There are also bonus points for exterminating any other cursed spirits you come across."

Aiden nodded, his mind racing with observations about the competition's structure. Three students per team, a hidden Grade 2 curse, bonus points for minor curses—all a simple race. However, deeper intelligence from his previous world says that something far more sinister was afoot. The Kyoto principal had a secret objective: assassinate Yuji Itadori, the Sukuna vessel.

He had to watch out for that assassination attempt, and Aoi Todo's sudden off-course behavior. Todo would definitely break off to hunt down Yuji alone, following the event's secret agenda. He'd keep an eye on him during the race.

"Good to know. Thank you, Zenin-san,"

Mai stiffened slightly at the honorific, recognizing Aiden's special status within the Zenin clan and his overwhelming power. "It's just Zenin. No need for formalities." She added, her fear of him barely contained.

Gojo grinned. "Alright students! Let's head to the forest. The teams will be drawn randomly for the first event."

The students filed into the forest, the air thick with cursed energy and tension. Aiden's mind remained sharp, scanning the environment for any signs of the Kyoto principal's assassination plot. The teams were drawn randomly, and Aiden found himself paired with Maki and Nobara—the same trio that had been questioning his behavior recently.

The announcement crackled through the forest: "Teams, begin!"

The race was on. Teams immediately scattered through the forest, searching for the Grade 2 curse and bonus points. Aiden kept his team together—Maki and Nobara moving efficiently, their teamwork impeccable.

His eyes scanned the tree line. Somewhere, the Kyoto principal was making his move. And somewhere, Aoi Todo was already hunting Yuji.

*Keep calm.*

As they navigated through the dense undergrowth, Aiden's sharp ears picked up distant shouts and clashes. The sound of Todo fighting Yuji echoed through the forest. Simultaneously, he felt a subtle shift in cursed energy—something off. He immediately suspected the Kyoto principal's assassination attempt.

"Sorry you two gotta go help a friend?!" He said, running off. "Aiden!" Maki called out, surprised by his sudden departure. But Nobara immediately understood. "He's going to help Yuji!" She grabbed Maki's arm. "Come on, we're backing him up!"

Mai and Kamo stepped in front of Maki and Nobara, blocking their path. "Stay in the race, Jujutsu High," Mai warned, her eyes narrowed. Kamo added calmly, "Todo simply broke off to fight a worthy opponent. It's not our concern."

Aiden felt Todo's massive fist slam against his block, the impact cracking the ground beneath them.Aiden punched him in the gut, sending him flying as he backed up to bleeding yuji.

Todo crashed through several trees, his massive frame skidding across the forest floor. Aiden didn't wait—he moved instantly, appearing beside Yuji who was bleeding heavily from multiple wounds. The Sukuna vessel looked up, surprised. "Aiden...?"

Meanwhile, Mai and Kamo were struggling to keep Maki and Nobara at bay. "Stay focused on the race!" Mai commanded.

Todo stood up, shaking off the impact of Aiden's punch. He grinned widely, blood staining his teeth. "You know what I'm gonna ask, right?" His classic line echoed through the forest. " what kind of woman is your type?"

Aiden looked at yuji as they both had thought about it As they said at the same time " it would have to be a tall woman with a big ass."

Todo froze. The forest went silent. Even the birds stopped chirping.

Maki and Nobara, still held back by Mai and Kamo, stared in shock.

Todo's eye twitched. Then he burst into laughter. "INTERESTING!" He slammed his fist against his chest. "Tall women with big asses... you and Itadori have the same taste?!"

Aiden's eyes met Yuji's briefly. There was an unspoken understanding between them—both men shared a similar preference when it came to women's bodies. Yuji smirked slightly despite his injuries, nodding in agreement with Aiden's response to Todo's question.

Todo's eyes glazed over for a moment as the false memory played out in his mind. He saw himself, Yuji, and Aiden as inseparable middle schoolers—best friends who shared everything, including their admiration for Takada-chan's tall figure and ample rear.

The false memory cemented itself in Todo's mind. He remembered crying after a rejection from Takada-chan, and both Yuji and Aiden sitting beside him, offering comfort. "You guys were always there for me..." Todo muttered, tears streaming down his face. "My best friends... my brothers..." He grabbed both Yuji and Aiden in a crushing bear hug.

Yuji and Aiden exchanged surprised glances over Todo's shoulder. They had no idea what was happening—one moment they were discussing their preference for tall women with big asses, and the next Todo was hugging them tightly and calling them his brothers. Yuji mouthed "What the fuck?"

Aiden quickly removed himself using World Cutting Slash, the powerful blast of cursed energy he unleashed sent trees flying and the ground shaking. Yuji, Todo, Mai, Kamo, Maki, and Nobara were all caught in the explosion's shockwave, being flung backwards.

Aiden's sharp eyes spotted the culprits—Noritoshi Kamo and Kokichi Muta. Kamo stood composed, while Kokichi's mechanical form whirred. They had fired the blast intentionally—assassination attempt confirmed. The timing was precise, aiming at the chaos Todo had caused.

Kamo narrowed his eyes at Aiden. "Special grade hybrid..."

"You must be a guy from the kamo clan, right that control blood?"

"Yes," Kamo answered curtly, his body language tensed. "I'm Noritoshi Kamo. You've heard of me?" His blood manipulation was legendary—he could control blood like water, making him a formidable opponent. Kokichi stood silently beside him, his mechanical eyes calculating.

"Yeah, I've heard of you and your technique. Gotta say it's not very impressive. You don't even know how to use it to its fullest potential."

Kamo's face darkened at Aiden's insult. "You dare criticize my technique?" His hands began to glow with cursed energy as he prepared to unleash a more powerful blood manipulation attack. Kokichi stepped forward, his mechanical arm extending menacingly towards Aiden. "He speaks too confidently..."

"I'm only speaking the truth. Let me show you how it's done." he figured out the blood manipulation curse technique a while ago. " blood manipulation: piercing blood." he crept his hands together at first it looked like one spear pulled up split into multiple spears.

Kamo's eyes widened as he watched Aiden's hands creep together. A single spear formed first—identical to Kamo's signature move—but then it split apart into multiple piercing blood tendrils. Kamo's composure cracked. "Impossible! You can't mimic Blood Manipulation! This is a clan secret technique passed down through generations!"

The multiple blood spears lashed out like whips, but they weren't made of Kamo's blood—they were Aiden's own blood, manipulated with impossible precision. He had figured out that Blood Manipulation wasn't some exclusive clan technique that couldn't be replicated; it was just an advanced application of Idle Transformation and cursed energy control over one's own bodily fluids.

Kamo stood frozen, his jaw slack. "That's... that's not possible! The Kamo clan has spent generations perfecting this technique! You can't just... copy it!" His own hands clenched into fists, blood beginning to ooze from his palms as he prepared his own attack.

Kokichi's mechanical eyes zoomed in on Aiden's blood tendrils.

Aiden moved with blinding speed—World Cutting Slash allowed him to close the distance instantly. He appeared directly behind Kamo, who barely had time to register the threat before Aiden's Black Flash connected. The impact was devastating—a concentrated burst of cursed energy that sent Kamo crashing through several trees, his blood manipulation technique completely disrupted. Kamo slid across the ground, coughing up blood.

"You guys are incredibly weak."

Kokichi's mechanical body whirred as he quickly analyzed the situation. He hadn't even seen Aiden move—one moment Kamo was standing there, the next he was flying through the air. Kokichi's eyes narrowed. "Weak? You think you're so strong just because you can mimic a single technique?"

"Buddy, you have no idea. How much I'm holding back. I know what you're planning to kill my friend yuji I don't feel like Letting that happen So you have two choices either we continue with this fight and I demolish every single person from your school. Well, maybe Except Todo Since I'm kind of cool with him now, or we continue with this event and find the grade 2 cursed spirit."

Kokichi's mechanical eyes dimmed as he processed Aiden's ultimatum. The threat was clear—demolish the entire Kyoto student body or continue the race normally.

Kamo struggled to his feet, spitting out blood. "You're delusional! You think threatening us will make us stop? We have a duty to exorcise the Sukuna vessel!"

"Oh really are you that confident that you can even beat him Gojo has been training him for two straight months and you think you can beat him think carefully before you answer that question," he said with a smirk, knowing that they would reconsider if they knew that.

Kokichi hesitated. Gojo had been training Yuji for two straight months—the strongest sorcerer teaching the Sukuna vessel. The implications were terrifying. Kamo's face twisted. "Yuji Itadori is still just a boy! He hasn't even mastered..." Kokichi cut him off sharply. "He's been training with Gojo Satoru."

"So what?" Kamo challenged, his blood manipulation rising to a dangerous level. "Yuji is still just a vessel! He hasn't even learned basic techniques! I'm a Kamo—we have generations of experience!" He glared at Aiden. "You think you can stop us from exorcising him?"

"Buddy, I haven't used the 10 shadow technique yet and just so you know I mastered every Shinigami do you want me to drop mahoraga."

The atmosphere grew tense as Aiden mentioned the Ten Shadows Technique. Kamo's expression darkened, while Kokichi's mechanical eyes narrowed suspiciously. The mention of Mahoraga sent shivers down their spines—the unstoppable Shikigami that had terrorized sorcerers for centuries. "You're bluffing," Kamo growled.

The shadows on the ground twisted and gathered, swirling like ink on water. Then—Mahoraga emerged. The unstoppable Shikigami stood tall, its massive frame casting a shadow over the entire forest. The eight-handled wheel on its back glowed menacingly. Kamo's face drained of color. "No... no NO! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!"

"Take care of them."
