The next day arrived, and Sunnie was the last person to wake up.
While others were already awake and preparing to make their way to the farm, Sunnie was still asleep.
Everyone allowed her to sleep a bit longer without waking her. They guessed she was still exhausted from all the traveling and work at the boar tribe, so they didn't bother disturbing her.
When they were finally ready to leave, Sunnie woke up. She remembered that she had to join them for work that day, so she made her way outside.
"I'm so sorry for being late. I was so exhausted," she said, rubbing her eyes as she met them having breakfast. Zuna had warmed up the leftover meal from yesterday.
"It's no problem at all," Elza smiled. "You must have been so exhausted, so we let you rest."
Eris smiled as he ate. "Exactly. You must have been so exhausted after your work that you couldn't even move." He looked at her mischievously. "I wonder how long that work lasted."
