In a dark room lit up by only a lamp, in the near future lay the young boy who was not so young as he was lying on his bed and staring at his phone.
He let out a sigh
He began to ask himself in a confused manner
"Hao Xian...Why?"
It was indeed a wonder why Hao Xian did it.
"Takehiko...what is he even doing?"
It was indeed a wonder what Takehiko is doing
"So-mang, what is wrong with him?"
It was indeed a wonder what wrongdoing So-mang is doing.
The varieties of questions came out as he continued to stare at his phone while lying on his bed.
Hao Xian, Takehiko, So-mang, and everyone else have officially left him ever since he finished middle school, leaving him to fend for himself.
Lately, all three of those guys were found on his phone.
Hao Xian, Takehiko, and So-mang were all precious friends that the adolescent was very glad to have and be friends with.
The young boy during that week of that year would spend his time looking at old photos of when he was ten till he was twelve.
The only time he ever felt surrounded by people and not fully alone was during his childhood.
Currently, there was a drizzle outside, and he found that more comforting as he felt so tired every day.
Noemie had gotten over what happened with the hotel trip and beach trip, but she will never get over what the adolescent boy had done to her.
Emiko-nee, Riko-nee, and Yuiko-chan were all like siblings to the adolescent boy, and so he misses them so much.
Hao ran, and Ningyi still refused to forgive him despite them already being in middle school.
He has not seen In-ah or Sena in a long time.
The young boy, or rather the adolescent boy, sat in his room along with Reyon, who was curled up in his bed by the wall of the young boy's room, sleeping and resting his sweet little eyes.
Despite him messing up past relationships, he made new friends, and his parents even made some interesting achievements.
The adolescent boy had always missed Hao Xian, So-mang, and
Everything that happened during his fourth year and summer vacation was the end of the beginning and the start of the downward spiral.
The fourth was the year he met those three boys, and the summer vacation was where he met everyone else.
He had experienced moments where he was shown care and was treated like a sibling by his friend's sisters and brothers.
Those pivotal moments were now but a stream of memories that the young boy would cling to in his future.
They were to him nostalgia and something he can never get back, no matter how many times he wishes or attempts to replicate those precious memories where his innocence was not yet tainted by future problems.
One would say that he lived in the past.
He remained an only child until the end of middle school.
The past to the young boy was both precious, and he felt his innocence shine more during that time; however, nobody can stay a child forever.
The adolescent boy looked at Reyon and smiled
"I will play with you tomorrow, boy!"
He did not regret doing that.
"What am I doing staying up late like this?"
He asked himself, since nobody was there to do it.
"Takehiko.....I hope you are well, So-mang.....I congratulate you, and Hao Xian...stay strong on your many predicaments."
Takehiko, So-mang, and Hao Xian were constantly busy with many different, unique, and interesting predicaments that the adolescent boy could not believe that such a predicament was possible at all.
In the current future, he smiled, feeling content with his current lifestyle, besides his unhealthy addiction to staying up late.
Reyon had suddenly woken up and began to approach the young boy
"Hey there, boy, you woke up, huh? Sorry about that, go back to sleep...Tomorrow I will take you out for a walk."
Reyon looked happy but made no noise
"Auntie Lunette and Auntie Eun-hee clearly trained you so well, huh?"
He let out a sigh and looked out of his window.
The window outside was nighttime with the drizzle of rain coming down, but he spotted the many bright lights from the buildings.
He let out another sigh and looked at his lit-up computer screen
"I wanted a girlfriend, to eat more great food, and to live in peace."
The adolescent boy always wished to be content with the simplicity of life, but his wishes, no matter how small, were never going to last.
As the moon shines in the starry night sky, the young boy spends his night with Reyon in a cozy room like he always wanted.
He then decided to close his eyes and settle with things
Whatever happened before has happened, and nothing could change that.
The beach trip was only the beginning of his troubles, and it would never be the last.
The young boy woke up feeling a sense of dread creeping in the morning
"First day of school."
He said to himself as he tried to pull himself out of bed.
It was currently the young boy's fifth year, and about a few weeks had passed since school started. He was not in the same classroom as Takehiko, So-mang, or Hao Xian.
Takehiko and Hao Xian still hung out with him both at school and at his house.
The young boy spent time trying to make friends, but kept on failing as they already had established friend groups, and they all saw the young boy in a negative light, because he hung out with Takehiko, Hao Xian, and So-mang.
The young boy, after a few days of this, understood why Takehiko and Riko-nee acted out at him.
Takehiko and Hao Xian understood his predicament and did their best to encourage him to keep going.
The young boy, for the past month, was constantly failing in his studies. They wanted to ask their Emiko-nee and Riko-nee for help, but Emiko-nee was busy dealing with her duties at her school, and Riko-nee had begun enrolling for cram school to help her study for her high school entrance exams that would come about next year or so.
Emiko-nee and Riko-nee did not know about this, as the moment the young boy heard this, he refused.
Takehiko and Hao Xian could not teach him either, as they each had different teachers for different subjects and did not understand either the basic concepts.
They also did not know how to properly teach him or help him study, as their subjects, assignments, and tests differ depending on the teacher or classroom.
He spent his days hanging out with Takehiko and Han Xiao, while also struggling to catch up or study for the many subjects, assignments, and tests he had been having over the past few weeks, while, So-mang did not hang out with the young boy but hung out with Takehiko, Hao Xian, or at the same time, but he refused to hang out with the young boy.
This might be the longest school year for the young boy, and he wished to go home, avoid his classes, and simply not be at school, where he had to suffer from his failing academics, bad study habits, and the many people taking advantage of his kindness, messing with him, and gaslighting him to make fun of him more.
The young boy was still unable to talk to Noemie, Sena, and In-ah, as Ningyi and Hao running would always drive him away, reminding him of his mistakes and his acting so immature.
Immature felt like an insult to a ten-year-old boy.
The young boy had to begin his fifth year at his school with many unresolved conflicts happening, but that was only and always going to be the least of his problems.
With the large amount of good moments, there were always bound to be bad moments happening in the past, present, and future of the adolescent boy's life.
The young boy in the future wished he had these problems again because he knew that it was not too late to resolve those conflicts during that time.
But it was already too late for the adolescent boy, as his past self had no knowledge or any maturity within him that could resolve these issues.
It was only the first month of his fifth year at his school, and he wanted it to be his summer vacation already.
