" A symbol should give hope to his comrades while instilling fear in the enemy. She dismisses them. That may be mainly because she wants to rattle their heads or provoke them to committing mistakes. And while that is not wrong, it clashes with what a symbol needs.

I told you her mind is her biggest strength. That always comes with a level of perception that will not let a person to be completely be without atleast a single hidden calculation even subconsciously.
They may be earnest. But high intelligence is a double edged sword.
They tend to process emotion and trust through layers of analysis.
Which in turn can create hesitation, contingency thinking, hidden calculations and emotional compartmentalization.
I do agree that Akira is earnest. She is a hero at heart. A good one. But she lacks the openness in heart for everyone. A little bit of stupidity is needed for that.
And.
While I consider her fighting style to be superior to others in your class due to the layered tactics, a symbol using them instead of fighting ahead directly instills a hidden fear in people.
That their hero is nothing if the tactics are removed. Which is why I donot conceal my motives in any fight.
What the people want in a symbol is not just charisma, heroic spirit, sacrifice and strength. They need to see indomitable power and unbreakable will.
