A few moments after Hawks got the full information on what happened in USJ and rushed to his sister, Tsukauchi met with Nezu, All Might, Midnight, Snipe, Eraser head and Vlad King in the Principal office .
"The police have investigated the group calling themselves "The League of Villains", and there does not appear to be anyone registered with the name Shigaraki.
In his 20s or 30s with a Quirk that lets him disintegrate whatever he touches.
It's the same with the villain called Kurogiri with the Warp Gate.
They are not citizens and are probably using false names.
In other words, they are people with unregistered Quirks who are part of society's underbelly." Tsukauchi started after exchanging initial greetings and the first investigations.
"You mean we don't know anything about them…" Vlad King commented.
"Their ringleader, huh?" Allmight pondered as something bothered him.
"What is it, All Might?" Nezu asked the troubled looking man .
"It was a bold attack that normal people wouldn't carry out even if they thought of it.
From the investigations and what
Aizawa-kun and Thirteen told us... There's something off about the dead ring leader.
To suddenly go on and on with his wild statements like that… Although he didn't reveal his own Quirk, he bragged about that Nomu's Quirk…
And when things didn't go the way he wanted, he was visibly upset." Allmight paused trying to understand the motives of the actions .
"Even so, it was foolish to throw away the advantage of having unknown Quirks when fighting against heroes." Nezu added.
"Yeah. That part is what bothers us the most." Tsukauchi agreed.
"He made immature, wild statements with a straight face.
He bragged about his possessions.
He thought everything would simply go his way.
Adding that to what I saw of him when he carried out the attack, the picture I get of Shigaraki is… someone who hasn't gotten rid of his childish sense of omnipotence -- a man-child." Aizawa joined adding his own observations.
"A child with power?" Vlad king asked seriously.
"Could it be that he never received the Quirk counseling every child gets in elementary school?" Midnight questioned.
"Well, what does that have to do with anything? The league members have been captured and the ringleader is dead." Snipe commented .
There were 41 villains arrested the other day at USJ. 32 deadbodies.
They were all small-timers that lurked in back alleys, but the problem is how they all agreed with that man-child and followed him.
In the current environment saturated with heroes, villainous people who have been oppressed may be drawn to evil but..... Nobody would follow such a simple minded leader.
We suspect that there is a hidden leader using that manchild as front.
Kurogiri, the warp villain who acted like Shigaraki's right hand remained silent despite the entire league being completely obliterated.
Which only adds to our suspicions. " Tsukauchi explained.
"That's true." Vlad king agreed to the conclusion the investigation ended in.
"There are plenty of people who don't know what to do with their Quirks. But... While I hate to admit it, the kids killing the ringleader and the Nomu did more good than bad.
If it weren't for the death of their leader and the capture of the warpgate assisted by the children, we may not have suspected about the hidden boss who brought these small fries together. " Snipe added solemnly.
"This is alarming, though…" Midnight grimly agreed.
" Well, it is still thanks to you heroes that we were able to capture the every living member of the league in the incident without
any problem. We will expand our investigations to find the real boss. " Tsukauchi worded his gratitude.
"A man-child…" Nezu thought out loud.
"Hmm?" Allmight looked at the rat hybrid man.
"In some sense, he's like our students
He still has room to grow." Nezu said out loud.
"Ah…" Allmight understood what Nezu tried to say.
"If there really was someone capable backing him, trying to cultivate his malice…
I don't want to think about what could happen…if he was freely roaming in our streets.
While Akira gave us information about him yesterday and we tried to investigate..... Everything happened too fast. " Nezu admitted.
" It would be preferable if there is a single person behind it all directly controlling him instead of a fully developed organisation using him as a distraction to commit something bigger.
The attack was too eye-catching to not consider that possibility. " Aizawa put forth his own views .
Nezu and Tsukauchi stilled as Aizawa spoke out the thought that had been sitting on the edge of their minds the whole time.
The attack attracted more attention than damage. It may have caused slight disturbance in public but nobody was harmed among the students and heroes.
It looked like something screaming for attention so that something else could slip through without anyone noticing.
The blatant claims of killing Allmight, the horrible planning that is doomed to fail, everything pointed at it being a distraction to gain attention and raise public unrest.
The Nomu was a real deal. Even when Aizawa was actively wiping it's quirk while simultaneously attacking the manchild who was surprisingly strong with good battle IQ and quirk for his mentality, the Nomu barely took any direct damage until it was blasted from the inside.
Aizawa saw how the attacks barely scratched or held it in a place while being completely bombarded with attacks from the class powerhouses and while Akira was having its entire body punctured from the inside. That thing could have actually stood a chance against Allmight. And his kids managed to fight it head on and win.
The biggest concern was that thing being a mutated human as per the blasted flesh chunks that were collected and investigated.
They had access to high medical research and enough manpower to successfully create that monster.
The thought of a massive hidden organisation became a much bigger possibility than before.
If they have more of such nomus hidden ...then it would be a grave situation for the whole society.
Unlike the others, Allmight had other thoughts. 'Someone cultivating the evil in the minds of the others. That man....he is definitely behind this..... I have to find him before I lose my last embers. If only I had more time and my body is healthy....' Allmight sighed catching Nezu's attention who immediately understood what Allmight would have been thinking about.
