A KING AND THREE SISTERS
Once upon a time a law was passed in a kingdom. The law did not allow any house to have light in their home at night. Only the palace was to have light at night. There was only one house in the entire state where the law could not be implemented. Three sisters lived in that house. One night when the king passed by, he saw light in that house. He stopped by the window and overheard a conversation between the three sisters.
The eldest sister said, "If the king marries me, I will spin so much yarn that it will be enough for the uniform of his entire army."
The other said, "If the king marries me, I will bake such a large bread that every soldier of the kingdom will have more than enough to eat."
The youngest said, "And if the king marries me, I will give birth to two beautiful children. One like the sun and the other like the moon."
The next day the king sent a message through his men that he would marry the youngest of the three sisters. The sisters were brought to the palace. The king married the youngest sister and the other two sisters also started living at the palace.
