Chapter 1: The Rise
The world had many secrets. There were about 100 different elemental powers like fire, water, wind, and more. But most people didn't know about them. Arashio was one of those people. He had no power and lived a simple, normal life.
One day, Arashio was walking on a dusty road, feeling bored and hungry. He sighed and said, "Why is my life so normal? No adventure, no powers… not even good food." He kicked a small stone and kept walking slowly.
Suddenly, a loud boom came from the nearby forest. Arashio got scared for a moment. "What was that?" he said. He felt curious, so he went inside the forest to check.
As he walked deeper, the air became very hot. Some trees were burning, and smoke was everywhere. Then he saw a boy standing in the middle. The boy had fire in his hand like it was alive.
Arashio was shocked. "Is that real fire?" he said.
The boy looked at him and said calmly, "You should not be here. It's dangerous."
Arashio pointed at him and said, "You are the dangerous one! You have fire in your hand!"
The boy stopped the fire and said, "My name is James."
Arashio looked surprised. "You can really control fire?"
"Yes," James said.
Arashio asked, "Are there more powers like this?"
James nodded. "There are many. Around 100 elements in this world."
Arashio looked at his hands and felt a little sad. "And I have none?"
James said, "Not everyone has power."
Arashio laughed a little. "So I'm just a normal guy in a world full of powers…"
James turned and started walking away. "You should go back. It's not safe here," he said.
Arashio stood still for a moment. Then he smiled and ran after him.
"Wait! If there are 100 powers, I want to see them too!" he said.
James didn't stop, but he smiled a little.
And just like that, Arashio started his journey. He had no power, but he wanted to explore this amazing world.
